We can only do over if you guys promise not to pick Hillary. In turn, us repubs won't pick Trump :D then we can do over (I keep saying it, but damn was I shocked when I saw the presidential election camdidate for the dems WASN'T Bernie >.> I'll be shocked for the rest of my life. Actuallt, I'll be shocked that we picked Trump. Whose idea was all of this?!)

Side note, this is the chillest political debate I've ever seen on the internet and I think we should all be proud of that.

I am not saying that I hate every single person that voted for Trump. There's obviously people on here that did and I don't hate you. I did like Bernie and I wished he could have stayed in the running but that fell through.

Whatever happens in the next 4 years, I just want all of you to be OK and stay safe. The Americans I have met on this site are some of the brightest most loveliest people I have ever come across in my life. I have respect for all of you and I have faith that you, as a country, can make it through this.

The whole reason I started this chat was because I needed to rant a bit. I had all these thoughts in my head that I had to let out but I'm surprised that a few of you joined in on the conversation. I can see both sides of this now so thank you. And stay safe, everyone! xx

You as well, doll :D like I said (and I keep saying "like I said", what the Hell?) this is the chillest convo I've ever read/ been part of on the internet that discusses politics. It's actually kind of enjoyable :)

Though I won't lie, even though I voted for the orange I am slightly on edge about what he may or may not end up getting away with. Oh well. Four years. We just gotta wait and find out :X

@Where is Call_Me_Godot?
Thank you, honey :D I will admit, I'm not that interested in politics but this was important to everyone. I'm glad that I started something on here, lol :)

I'm sure millions of people feel the same as you, about being on edge on what will happen when he moves into office. We all must wait and that's the truth of it xx

I voted Bernie to begin with. I was so sad he didn't make it but I knew he didn't have a chance from the beginning tbh. America isn't ready for the Bern. Apparently we are ready for human cheeto, though. I liked Hillary and Obama's speeches today.

@blankspace1
Thank you so much for caring, Liv. It's a hard pill to swallow but we'll be ok. Doesn't lessen the hurt, though. :\

@MelissaStylesInStyle
I have listened to Obama and Hillary's speeches and I do respect them. It is no trouble for me to be caring, it's just in my nature. I try to be loving to everyone. I know we'll all be OK. Americans are strong-willed and strong-minded and this is just something we have to deal with xx

Because Cheetos don't Bern American tongues ;D lol I really do wish both sides had picked their more rational candidates though (I mean, I voted for a God damned neurosurgeon who got beat out by said Cheeto >.<). Maybe next election we'll all agree to bring something better than memes and crazy people?

@blankspace1
I'm sure people have been on edge in prior elections but this one...people were scared on either side. I was personally scared of Hillary and (obviously) shit tons of people are scared of Trump. I don't normally pay attention to politics but this time I really want to just to make sure the US isn't going to fall on its face >.>

@Where is Call_Me_Godot?
I don't usually pay attention to politics either but this...it was hard to escape it and I'm in goddamn Australia! It was everywhere. People were scared of Hillary. People were scared of Trump. People are just scared. I have seen videos of people burning the American flag, people hugging and crying in the middle of streets, it's so bad. I just hope Trump doesn't fuck up the country. America is better than that xx

This has all been so sweet. Bless you all for your support and caring right now.

I got off of work this morning at 2am - I work overnights as a pharmacy technician mixing IV meds and IV nutrition at a hospital here were I live - and came into my apartment and sat on the floor and cried. I had been following the election results all night praying that we'd pull it out in the end. I lost sleep to go and vote before I went home the day before...I am just sick to my stomach thinking about it all and I am scared out of my mind right now. I got some inspiration from our Nialler though...his tweet this morning was awesome and he's right, we can hold on for 4 yrs.

I love you too, Ash. So very very much. You don't have to say anything else. I know your views on the matter. You have a huge heart too. And you know me well enough by now that I like to spread love around as much as possible, just like our dear Harold :) xx
