I doubt anyone wants to after what he said about not wanting to be in One Direction

I've barely even listened to 1D's last album to be honest

I did listen to it but just because I was really curious(It's one of my flaws:p) And to be honest it's a good song.

I must say when I heard him say that, I was just really disappointed and somehow I also did know this already because even though he was part of 1D, he also wasn't(if that makes sense)

And with 1D's new album, I have to admit that I only listen to a handful songs, I mean I love the album but I don't know maybe there are too much ballads on it.

That makes perfect sense. He loved the boys, he loved the fans, he just didn't like the crazy fame. I'm listening to the song now because just like you Curiosity is one of my many flaws and I've decided that life's too short to be petty and angry over Zayn leaving 1D. He did what he had to (Even if he did kind of lie. He said He wanted to be "Normal")

I've only listened to Drag Me Down, History and Perfect from their new Album

He did lie and that is also something I didn't get, why would he do that, why not be honest about it? But hey, who am I right :P I was never really angry or sad about it, I just accepted it and moved on, I think I was in some sort of denial fase.

No i listened to all the songs but now I only listen to 6 songs. Drag me down, history, never enough, walking in the wind, hey angel and if I could fly but that's about it.

About the song... my honest opinion is that it sounds familiar, like something everyone else has done. I'm not saying it's a bad song but personally, it sounds generic to me and I wouldn't know the difference between that and Sam Smith (but I'm not particularly pop oriented so maybe that's it XD)

My honest reaction....I kept waiting for the other members of 1D to come in >.> it sounds like a more mature 1D ballad to me. But whatever. It's just a song. There's other stuff yet to be put out and maybe it'll be better or worse. (I thought I was going to hate BMTH's new album because Drown was too alternative and then That's the Spirit dropped and it turned out that one song was just the one questionable track :P)

I'm listening to it as of right now, and it's fantastic so far. I never lost faith in Zayn, I just got a little mad at him for leaving but he's a great singer so I'm going to support him.

I think if Coldplay and the weeknd had a love child it would be this song by zayn. I am more of an R&B hip hop girl, but the catchy bubble gum pop and sexually fueld (albeit a bit rapey) tunes from 1D are my fucking kryptonite.
Anyway, I don't rly like zayn now or before he left- but I'm digging this. It definitely made its way on my sexy playlist haha.

I know what you mean, I'm more into rock/pop/alternative usually but some r&b songs I don't mind listening to and this is one of them but this is probably because of Zayns voice. ;)

Honestly I think Zayn and Harry are still HOTTER now if that makes sense lol and the song I haven't heard it cause I'm not really into r&b but I will soon. As for the breakup thing, I think its okay sometimes to do what you think is right for you, if that makes sense? I am not sure what lying you guys were talking about, maybe I don't follow the news so much so please feel free to enlighten me! But yeah, I dont think I have to hate anyone for doing that sort of thing. I love them both. Equally. So yeah if Zayn feels like he wants to do his thing doesnt feel comfortable for WHATEVER REASON I don't think he or the boys should be judged for it. You have to remember they're barely 21! They're gonna make mistakes, they're going to challenge themselves, find their own paths and there's nothing wrong with that. :)

I think that when One Direction was formed, the guys (being just kids) jumped at the chance because everyone wants to be famous. Just think if you were given that option. Would you rather go home or join a singing group that was going to be famous?

They were given the opportunity of a lifetime. While others just went along with what they were told, Zayn chose to speak freely about how he felt. Just because he hated the music and the way things were done doesn't mean he hates the other guys. How would you feel being stuck singing music you hated? I'm sure if you were forced to sing Christian rock and you were Atheist, you would hate too.

So yes, I have listened to and purchased Zayn's new song. It's honestly very good and something I will enjoy listening to. I also cannot wait to see what else he puts out. I will still continue to listen to One Direction and Zayn, just like I still listen to the Jonas Brother and Nick/Joe as solo artist or NSYNC and Justin Timberlake.

All in all, we can't expect the guys to stay together forever. Just think, 45 years from now, do you really want to see the guys still singing songs like "Kiss You" or "WMYB"?

But thats just my opinion :D

Those are some very good points! And you know this is what I was going to say, that in time they will grow up and maybe they too will realize their own path and who knows it might still be 1D but the music might be more mature or edgy or whatever. I mean let's face it all boy bands have an expiry date. From BSB to NSYNC that's just what happens. You grow up and things change and you change with them. Maybe they will go their separate ways, I'd like to think that I will still follow them and wish them well.

My sexy playlist is pretty much anything by Led Zeppelin because Robert's half-porno-moaning vocals meeting Jimmy Page's violin bow caressing a guitar...is kind of one of the hottest things I've ever heard. Or the opening riff to Heartbreaker...

I can't say I've ever turned to R&B for get-you-in-the-mood-girl music.

Honestly, when 1D break up, I strongly look forward to what Liam will be doing. In my honest opinion, watching their X Factor performances, Liam carried them harder than an ADC in League of Legends with a 17-2-7 kda average :D or some other equally nerdy and equally amazing number. He's like the bass in the band. Loved by many, over looked by just as many, yet that glue that holds all the sounds together. I'll be quite interested in his solo stuff when it rolls around.
