My bro and I are huge slasher/horror film fans ;P I got choo
Horror/Mystery/Thrillers:
-The Den
-Silent Hill
-Dead Silence
-House of Wax (with Vincent Price or Paris Hilton)
-Ghost Ship
-Rose Red
-Pet Semetary
-The Dark (it's got Sean Bean in it, super hard to find but great)
-The Boogeyman II
-House of 1000 Corpses
-Sleepy Hollow
-Hellraiser
-Battle Royale (isn't scary but it's got a lot of blood ;P if you don't mind subtitles)
-Grave Encounters
-Grave Encounters 2
Slashers:
-The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974, the other ones are shit. 74's was BANNED the day it came out too ;P)
-Nightmare on Elm Street
-Nightmare on Elm Street 3-Dream Warriors
-Friday the 13th (the 1980 one)
-Friday the 13th Part 2
-Wrong Turn 4-Bloody Beginings
-Wrong Turn 5-Bloodlines
-Halloween (2007, Rob Zombie plays more with Mike's backstory)
I'd also really like to check out the ultra banned films like Cannibal Holocaust, A Serbian Film, the Guinea Pig flics (which are Japanese like Battle Royale), and the Bunny Game. Since you know...um....the Texas Chainsaw just doesn't have enough gore in the way of banned films go (neither does the Exorcism)
Sorry for reeling off so much /.\
@One Direction 1O1
The Strangers :O Liv Tyler is my lesbian crush and she's so fucking pretty there even when she's screaming in terror XD
@One Direction 1O1
The Strangers..I watched that for the first time like a month ago... Pretty fucking terrifying.
@Call_Me_Godot
Holy shit. Dead Silence scared the shit out of me when I was little...still does.
Weird fact about Cannibal Holocaust is that the creator got arrested because the movie was so gory that they thought he actually killed people. xD I was like DAMN!
Omfg, Halloween 2007 made me cry more then it scared me. I have it on my DVR with a bunch of other horror films. Plus, my parents range of DVD'S. Who knows...I might go on a scary movie spree.
Pet Cemetery is pretty creepy, too. The kid from the movie...Gage.
Weird fact: That's my little brothers name.
I was like, MOOM! IS THAT WHERE HIS NAME CAME FROM??
@Nialls_Girl1
I know. XD It's extremely creepy and disturbing, but somewhow I can watch it over and over again.
@Call_Me_Godot
She is super pretty! And that film is so good. It's one of my favorite movies. I can't get enough of thriller/horror anything, rather it's books or movies.
@Nialls_Girl1
He made the actors like drop off the face of the earth for a few weeks before the movie premiered so everyone would really think they were dead ;P that's partially why he was charged with homicide
@One Direction 1O1
I do love a good scary story :3 the Keep and the Harrowing are my favourites
@One Direction 1O1
It's interesting.
@Call_Me_Godot
Yeah... I saw it on Instagram. I can not deal with blood and gore. Like Saw... FUCK NO! It's just torture porn...
When they went on Netflix. I watched like 40 minutes and I was done.
@Nialls_Girl1
That's all the Saw movies are lol but banned movies are just so much better ;D I've seen clips on YouTube and they look pretty brutal lol so I honestly think that (even for someone as twisted as me) I probably wouldn't be able to watch any of them in one sitting (Cannibal Holocaust, the Bunny Game, all those I mentioned lol)

The 74 version (which was banned the same day it hit theatres) is one of my all time favourite movies. It's the only slasher movie that's ever made me jump and the writing was great. It left me with sooo many questions about Leatherfaces fam and the girl and who else they killed (I refuse to watch the sequels so there's that). But it's great. If recommend it
@Call_Me_Godot
I think my parents have the 74 one.
Like, I didn't realize Bates Motel was based off of Psycho.
@Nialls_Girl1
I wanted to watch Bates Motel but Dish only plays the recent seasons and I don't have Netflix to start at the beginning .-.
@Call_Me_Godot
That sucks. Oh yeah, Dish sucks.. I live off of my laptop and Netflix. I never watch my Dish cable.
It's not so scary now, but I remember watching The Blair Witch project with my brothers when I was like 6 or 7 and it scared the jeebers outta me. Especially that last scene.
We Are What We Are is quite good. I'm a huge fan of classics though - so The Nightmare series, Friday the 13th, The Shining, I spit on your grave (original, the new is just shiiiiiiiittt), Poltergeist, The Thing etc.
In saying that I'm a huge fan of new, not so scary stuff because horros is AMAZINNNNNNGGGGG! So Cabin In The Woods, Cabin Fever, Hostel, Amusement.
@Call_Me_Godot
oohhhh someone else who likes Sleepy Hollow! YOU'RE LIKE SERIOUSLY MY FAVOURITE PERSON NOW :) I can never find anyone who likes the movie.
@Nialls_Girl1
It looks like it'll be awesome. I'm always skeptical of remakes but this one is definitely on my list of to go see's.
If you don't mind reading subtitles; French and Japanese horror I've found are the greatest.
Like check out the Japanese version of The Ring, the english done was mediocre, but the Jap... like, nope, fuck that shit... my boyfriend had to pause it half way through for me to get calm again and then we had to continue.
I'm watching Final Destination right now and I'm wondering, what ate your favorite scary movies?
Mine is Insidious and Scream. You?
