"WHAT THE HELL? DOCTOR YOU BETTER EXPLAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled. My voice seemed to be, froggish. Croaky and higher pitched. "I have no idea what's happening." He said but he scribbled something on the paper and handed it to me.
They have audio here. We need to meet... somewhere else...
"Okay."
I may know what you are.
"OKAY!"
But you need to be quiet, and meet me at this address: 7768 Jefferson... Just do it, Dr.'s orders.
"Okay." I looked over at Niall and saw he had no idea what we were talking about. I showed him the paper and he nodded. "So, doc, when will my voice be normal?" I asked. "Maybe, never. This is an extreme case. And if you continue to talk, you could lose your voice forever." The doctor said. I started to cry. The doctor showed Niall to me and walked out of the room. "Babe, it's gonna be okay." He said. I grabbed the paper and wrote:
No it's not, I'm a freak.
He took it from me and wrote back,
If you were a freak, do you think I'd be here?
Maybe?
No. Kirsten, you know I love you.
Yes, but I don't know why.
He looked at me and was about to say something when his phone went off. He checked it and said, "Kirsten, um, Alicia and Veronica want to see me. Like right now." He said. "YOUR NOT GOING ANYWHERE!!!!!!" I yelled. "Why not?" He asked, sad. "BECAUSE I'M A FUCKING... SOMETHING AND I KINDA NEED SUPPORT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled. "Why don't you ask one of your friends?" What? Did he really not care? "FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!! But if I do, just know. That we, are OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled. I loved Niall, but he doesn't care... and I need him now more than ever. He looked at me with guilt in his eyes but just got up and walked away. I could hear him mutter the words I never thought I'd ever hear, "To think that I loved you."
Did I just over react? Go too far? Lose the one I love the most?
