"Mummy, where are you taking Jamie?" Three year old Liam asked.
"Uh...Somewhere better for her." His mum replied.
"But I don't want her to leave, she's nice." Liam whined.
"LIAM! Just go to your room." His mum said.
"But mummy..."
"NO BUTS!" His mum snapped. Liam quickly hugged his two year old sister, and ran upstairs.
She strapped Jamie into the car seat, and got in the front.
She drove to the foster home, and left Jamie in a basket on the stoop, with a note.
She then drove away, leaving Jamie alone on the stoop of some strangers who were to look after her for the rest of her childhood.
The door opened.
"CHARLENE! THE OTHER KID'S HERE!" A gruff man yelled.
Charlene, a twenty year old who'd already been pregnant three times, ran out and picked up Jamie and took her inside.
The man closed the door, sealing Jamie's fate.
