Lukas POV
*flash back*
I sat at home on the couch munching on some chocolate watching the little mermaidI didn’t care that I was16 turning 17 I will always love Disney, “luka! I’m home” mum yelled out from the front door “I have something to tell you” she said excitedly.
She walked into the living room with a strange man with her “hello, I’m luka” I said being polite “jack kensin” he replied” please sit down luka we need to tell you something” we? “I have been seeing jack for a while now” mum started off with me eyeballing her “and he proposed” she said happily throwing up her hand and showing me her ring.
I was shocked and I knew she was waiting for my response “congrats mum” I managed to say confidently out of my dry throat and I hugged her, I could feel jacks eyes on me but I shrugged it off “I’m going to my room call if you need me” I simply said while walking away and going up the marble steps.
Opened my door and grabbed my phone off charge and quickly messaged Lucy *omg mum just came into the house with some strange dude and sprung on me that she was getting married to him* ‘sent’.
*ha-ha well I’m glad for your mum she needs someone plus you can let him spoil you*she replied almost instantly *I don’t know how to be spoiled, but anyway I think I’m going to bed night*
*two weeks later*
Mum and jack have gotten married; they registered at the government (or whatever it is), I was sitting down at the table while mum was finishing dinner off and serving it and watched jack come up behind her and they were being all lovey dovey, I have never seen my mum this happy with a man before so it made me happy.
Dinner had been served to the table and we had finished I went to go put the dishes in the sink but jack stopped me
“Don’t worry darling I’ll do the dishes for you go up and get ready for bed” I smiled thanks to him and walked upstairs I was thinking maybe this is what lucy was saying about being spoilt I entered my room got changed and went to sleep.
