Loving Is Not Easy

*Lukas POV*
The boys Nd girls have already left the café and I'm nearly at the end of my shift, they offered to stay and wait until I finished but I couldn't let them to that they would be waiting for hours.

But it's nearly the end of my shift must another 7 minutes to go.

"Luka you can head home now we're closing early today" my bosses head popped from his office and went back inside.

"Thanks sir" I untied my apron and went to the staff room and hung it up and grabbed my bag.
I said my goodbyes to everyone and left to get to my car

"As cute as ever" I smiled at my car and yes I know I'm dorky.

"Hey isn't that the girl that was with one direction" I heard a girl whispering to her friend when I was about to get in my car.

"Omg she's so ugly and fat she's so hideous"

"Your being to loud tiff"

"I don't care what's she gonna do" this person tiff laughed.

I shut my door not getting inside it and walking over to them.

The one called tiff held her ground with hands on her hips and the other looked slightly scared.
I was taller then them so I bent down right into there faces with a scary look on my face.

"Care to say that again" I said with a hint of annoyance in my voice.

"I said your fat ugly and hideous" she spat back into my face still keeping her ground.

"Just because you'll never be able to get close to one direction doesn't mean you have to go and insult other people, even if you we're to meet them they wouldn't like you because I can tell your a horrible person already who judges other people for her own amusement and that is what bitches do" I said right in her face.

But she slapped me right in my face and her friend has already moved far away from us in case if we would fight and she was right no one slaps me.

I got my fist and grabbed the front of her shirt and she had a terrified look on her face just when I was about to hit her I heard someone call my name.

"Luka" the very familiar voice of Harry styles called out to me and I looked in his direction to see the other boys standing behind them just looking at me.

I dropped the girl since i raised her slightly and her and her friend ran away as fast as they could, but stopped to say.

"You crazy bitch!"

The boys just came up to me looking a me with disbelieve
"What was that Luka!" Harry said putting his left hand on my shoulder.

"Leave me alone" I pushed his hand of my shoulder and turned to walk to my car, suddenly feeling ashamed that people saw me with my walls up.

And when I have my walls up I'm mean to protect myself

"Why'd you do it" Louis's called.

"I'm not going to talk to you guys about it" I said harshly to them (by accident) and they just backed off.
Harry just stared at me with hurt in his eyes and it made my heart hurt a bit

And I don't know why

But I just opened my car door and drove down to the only place I could think about.

My Special place

It's a place no one knows about , I go there when I need to think and calm down.

It took me one hour to get here but it's always worth it.

I exited my car walking through the forest and after awhile emerged in a beautiful waterfall spot

I rested my back against the tree and listened to the soothing sounds around me.

I grabbed my sketch book and started drawing.

Night has fallen

And I felt like I should head home now. Shop for dinner all that crap.

I grabbed my things and started heading back through the forest .

When something caught my attention.

I heard little meows for attention and I searched to find a baby kitten less then 2 weeks old.

I grabbed my hand sanitizer and cleaned my hands reading about kittens and how they can get sick easily.

I picked it up and walked a little further to find a cat with a litter of kittens, so this is the mummy I'm guessing.

I bent down on my knees not caring about dirt getting on my pants.

"Here's you baby mummy cat" I placed the kitten down so she could get it back.

But she growled and hissed at it really to attack with her paw.

I quickly picked the kitten back up from harm.

"This is your baby your meant to take care of him" I said to the cat raising my voice.

And she just hissed as a warning to back off.

I started walking back to my car again with the kitten against my Chest.

And sat down in my car searching for a jumper that I had on for work.
It's very bad for kittens to be cold since they can't regulate their body temperatures (A/N all about the kitten is true I looked this stuff up and it's true things you need to do if you try and take care if an abandoned kitten).

I grabbed it and wrapped in around the kitten and sat him down on my passenger seat.
The drive home was slow because I didn't want to disturb her. But I finally made it to the store so I could get things for her.

I picked her up and placed her gently in my bag so she wouldn't be left alone.

I walked in and got kitten formula

Loads of sheets

A laundry basket

And food for me.

I quickly went to the self serve registers because she started meowing and I didn't want to be found out.
I made it back to the car and took her out of my bag and placed her on my chest she was still meowing and I calmed her down by stroking her back with two fingers my heartbeat also calmed her down because it could resemble her mums heart beat.

I drove home with her in my lap because when I tried to put her in the other seat she would meow very loudly.

I picked her up and juggled her and everything else while walking into the elevator.
I used my nose to press the button since my hands were filled and I heard it ding with the elevators opening.

I shifted everything around and unlocked my door and set everything down.

I grabbed the laundry basket and put fresh sheets in it for the kitty's bed.

I prepared some formula for her and held it at a 45 degree angle. I put a heating lamp in one corner in her basket and pretty soon she was out like a light.

I'm going to protect this abandoned kitty, with everything I got.
