The Nephew
Chapter Eight
Rosaline's P.O.V
Me and Hunter pulled up to Sandall Park (A/N: this is an actually place in Doncaster! Just thought I should add a real place.. Like why not)
"Hunter. What are we doing at Sandall Park?" I asked.
"I have a surprise for you."
"Am I going to like this surprise?" I asked nervously.
"You don't have to be nervous. It's nothing bad." He said smiling a bit.
"I wasn't nervous." I tried to say confidently but failed.
"Love, I see right through you it's alright, I swear." He said as he kept leading me towards the dock. As we passed through the trees.
As we walked on the dock I see a little rowing boat, then I looked out on the water and see a party boat. I didn't realize Hunter was already on the boat.
"Come on love, we aren't there yet." He said holding his hand out to help me in. I took it graciously and got into the boat. Of course clumsy me I fell into Hunter's arms. I look up at him to see him smiling down at me.
"Careful." He said gently.
"I'll try." I said as I say down across from him. Then he soon sat down across me and started rowing.
"I think I'm actually gonna enjoy this date." I said smiling.
"I'm hurt, are you saying you didn't think this date was going to be good?" He said in a fake hurt expression.
"Oh shut up!" I said teasingly while shoving his shoulder playfully.
He made the shove over dramatic by making the boat rock.
"Woah. Woah. We are going to tip." He said rocking the boat side to side.
"Hunter please don't!" I begged.
"Awe babe, it's okay. I won't do it." He said as he stopped then he continued to row towards the party boat.
As we got closer I saw he hung up twinkling lights. That's kind of cute. Then I heard light music playing. As we got to the boat he tied us to the boat. He climbed onto the boat then helped me up. As we walked in further, I looked down at the ground it was covered with red rose petals. I looks up to see a small round table in the middle of the space with candles being the other lighting besides the twinkling lights. I have to admit Hunter did a pretty good job on this date. He walked me toward the table, I sat down he scooted me closer to the table. What a gentleman. I didn't think there was this side of Hunter. I know I have only know him for a day but I know a lot of guys that are like him. He sat on the other side of the table.
"Hunter this is all so beautiful." I said looking around. The sun has just set. The sky was still a orangish-pinkish color. This date was kind of perfect.
"Thank you, my uncle helped me."
"We'll remind me to tell him be us quiet the romantic." I said waving my hands around the whole setting.
"Actually I came up with all of this except the location." He said smiling.
"Really? I didn't expect you to be the romantic type."
"There are things you don't know about me." He stated.
"I would like to." I said leaning over the table.
"Well we can discuss that after we have dinner. Want to know what fine meal we are having?"
"Yes what fine will we have this evening." I said in a snobby tone, like one of those women who think they are better than everyone.
Hunter got up and retrieved a box front the table on the other side of the boat.
"We will be having." He said opening the box. "Pizza. What a beautiful masterpiece right.?" He said as he set the pizza box down.
Might and well eat, I really want to know more about Hunter. Maybe he is not the guy I think he is.
