Sage’s POV

The boys and I had taken a few hours to build a wooden pontoon boat so we could go on the river. I was tired already but I was super excited to actually go on the boat. Liam and I had left the guys a little bit ago so we could get the tent and food together since we’re camping out on the banks of the river.

“Where’s the sunscreen?” Liam asked looking through the kitchen area while I sat at the table.

“In my bag, I’ll go get it.” I stood up and started to my bag and got it before walking back to the kitchen.

“That’s the last thing on the list.” He smiled and closed the cooler.

“Yay! I need to go change real quick.” I set the sunblock down and walked into the room where my bag was.

I closed the door and started to undress. I slipped my tank top off and unbuttoned my shorts before kicking them off. Liam was singing in the kitchen and it made me laugh because he was singing “Don’t Stop Believing”. I laughed to myself while I put my American flag bikini. Once I was dressed again, I walked out to the kitchen where I found all the guys. They were all tan and sweaty.

“You guys ready?” Louis asked as he picked up a bottle of water.

“Yea” Liam and I nodded in unison.

“Then lets go!” Harry yelled excitedly while he stood up from one of the chairs. “Come on babe.” He picked me up before heading to the door.

“Put me down!” I laughed and squirmed in his arms until he finally let go of me. “We have to get the stuff you weirdo.”

“Oh yea.” He blushed.


It feels so nice to just lay in the sun with my friends while listening to music without worrying about anything. With the boys swimming next to the boat while we float down the river, I actually have room to move around. I turned my head to see Niall rowing on my right and Zayn rowing on my left. Neither of them were paying attention to me, they were too busy messing with Harry and Louis who were racing each other and Liam was being the referee. I could get used to this. Cold water splashed onto my back making me gasp and look up again to see Harry swimming next to me since I was on the edge.

“I hate you.” I mumbled putting my head down again.

“I love you too babe.” He laughed as the boat rocked a little bit and more water hit me.

“I swear on everything holy, I will push you off if you drip on me again.” I grumbled as I heard him chuckle and drip on me again. “Fine, I’m up.” I rolled over and stood up while I he stood up too.

He attempted to wrap his arms around me but I caught him off guard and shoved his body off the boat. I laughed until I realized he was holding me. We fell into the water together, let go of each other and swam to the surface.

“That was brilliant.” Liam laughed while he climbed onto the boat.

I was gasping for air while everyone else laughed. They kept laughing until I got back onto the boat.

“I just want a nice, tan body. Cant you guys leave me alone?” I complained while ringing out my hair.

“You do have a nice body.” Niall poked my stomach.

“Thanks.” I laughed not believing him.

I looked at Harry who was still in the water. He smiled at me as I leaned down to kiss him. The calls all cat called as we made out. We pulled out of the kiss laughing.
