The Enemy [17+]

Hunter had no idea where I was nor did he seem to care. He knew I had been out, but he acted as if it was totally okay.

I hated that, the feeling of being free. I couldn't tell if that was him giving me space to save our relationship or him giving up, but either way, I wanted him to be jealous.

I wanted him to want me.

He sat up in bed with the sheets covering his lower half and his bare shirtless torso exposed. He wrote in a leather notebook he had to take notes for his projects. He met me through a project, he needed an artistic silent film done and wanted a beautiful girl to model in it.

Imagine, two young college students, exceptionally attractive in New York broke and alone. We were meant to be together, and we've been inseparable ever since.

I crawled into bed next to him as he wrote in his notebook, never looking up. He scribbled feverishly, jotting down ideas and charts to match them.

I was on my hands and knees in front of him, watching him concentrate on his work. He didn't seem to notice me, if he did he surely was ignoring me. I crawled closer, and now he could feel my breath on his skin. My nose ran along his cheek to his ear, and I left a kiss below his earlobe and on his neck.

Now I knew he was ignoring me.

"Oh, by the way, that envelope is for you." He told me pointing to the desk. I hopped out of bed and picked it up, it was packed and heavy. It didn't say who sent it, but it was addressed to me. I tore it open and the double the amount of money Harry left me last night was inside.

This time I decided I'd keep it.

"Let's get away, babe." I told him. "We've been so stressed."

I hid the cash behind me.

"Where? We can't even afford a fucking hotel room." He frowned. I shrugged.

"I've got it handled." I said.

"How?" He asked.

"Just trust me." I answered softly. He shrugged.

"Where are we going?" He asked.
