1 Year Later....
Louis' POV:
"So boys, I know you always hear this question, but I have to! So.... who in this band has a girlfriend?" asked the interviewer. We are in the middle of one in Australia right now. Liam, Harry, and Zayn raised their hands immediatly. I smiled. I loved how my boys really cared about their other halves. "Louis? This is a new one," the interviewer then said. I looked over at her, wondering what she was talking about. I looked over at the boys and they also had a confused face on along with their eyes trained upwards. I followed their train of sight up and realized my hand was up! Uh... I guess I was so used to the idea of me and Belle being together... I kinda forgot that it wasn't entirely true. Guess it was time for me to explain.... "Uh.. I- I guess I should tell you about her huh.. " I started. "Well.. a few years ago, I met the most amazing girl named Annabelle. At first, if you can believe it, we didn't really get along. We kinda got off on the wrong foot. Then for a while, we got over our differences and became best friends. That's when I knew that she should have been more than just a friend." The interviewer cut me off, "Why are you referring to her in past tense?" I looked at the boys for permission and they just stared at me in admiration. Then I continued... " Well, she- she had cancer... and lost the fight" I blurted out. The interviewers face just changed from confusion to pity. I started talking before she could say anything. " Don't worry about it. It has been a year and me and the boys have accepted it. I just know that I love her with everything I have and that's all that matters right now." I then turned into the direction of the camera and the audience. " I want to speak directly to you Belle. I love you. I know you won't ever come back to me, but you are always going to be here no matter what. I'll see you sometime down the road babe... I love you." I finished and smiled. The boys than smiled at me and clapped me on the back . "Well whoever she was, she must have been a lucky girl." The interviewer smiled at me. "Okay.. next topic!....."
