The Enthralled Dream (re-writing)

Today marked the nerve-racking day that I had been preparing for a week and a half. Not only was I going to find out who will be my judge, but I will also be told if I’m going to the Judge’s Houses.
Today is the Six Chair Challenge.
I must awe the judges and make them remember me, and I hope I have the perfect song and outfit for this. I was dressed in a pale blue skirt with a white crop top on that was tucked into the skirt, making it look like a dress. I had my hair curled in soft waves with some of it pinned back. My make-up was a brown eye-shadow with a medium pink lipstick. Playing with the necklace my father gave me before he died, I waited until someone told us what to do.
The show just started, so the judges were one commercial break from finding out which group of contestants they were getting.
“And we are back, ready to find out which judge will get which category. First up, the Boys,” Olly paused, “Simon Cowell!”
Simon smiled, probably thankful he wasn’t stuck with the groups.
Mel B got the Groups, which is understandable, as she was in Spice Girls, Cheryl Cole got the Girls. Which only left one person for the Over 21‘s. Louis Tomlinson.
I held back from jumping up and down at that.
Louis Tomlinson was my mentor for this!!
The judges got a small meeting with us during the commercial break.
“Hello, everyone!” Louis said excitedly.
There were grunts and mumbled ‘hello’s in response.
“I was hoping for this group because I believe all of you have tons of talent and are just a little rough around the edges.”
Someone snorted, making Louis’s smile falter.
“Alright, only six of you will stay after tonight. Can’t wait to see which of you it will be.”
He then returned to his seat, while we prepared to go on stage.
Over 21‘s was going first, which is awful.
“Who volunteers to go first?”
I looked around, seeing everyone raise their hand.
He just decided to put us in a random order that had me going last.
Fantastic. That means I’m going to have to fight for my seat.
Before I knew it, everyone had gone, and just like I thought they would be, the seats are taken.
I walked on stage and Louis groaned.
“Alright, Elizabella, you know you are going to have to completely amaze me, right?”
“Yes, I do.”
“Alright, then go ahead.”
I took a deep breath and nodded at the music guy.
The piano started and I slowly lifted the mike to my lips.
“Waiting here for you to call me

The piano and violin faded as I opened my eyes and seeing everyone giving me a standing ovation and Louis banging his head on the table.
When the clapping stopped, Louis stopped banging his head on the table.
“I’m being honest, I kind of wanted you to forget the lyrics or something.”
I laughed, knowing that he just wanted it to be easy on him.
“Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, which means I have a super hard decision to make.”
I saw Dani sitting in a chair, making me smile and wave at her.
Over this past week, after my complete meltdown, Dani and I have gotten close. Turns out, we have a lot of the same interests. We also decided that we are going to room together at the Judge’s Houses if we both make it, of course.
“You are getting a seat and the person you are swapping out with is...”
I smiled as the crowd cheered, hoping it wasn’t Dani.
“Help me out with this London!”
I didn’t hear anyone shout Dani’s name, which made me hopeful.
“Danielle Santos.”
I felt my heart get crushed and stabbed.
The crowd started booing and chanting to bring her back. I saw Louis look extremely confused as I hugged her.
“Go win it, for both of us.”
I wiped my tears and hugged her again.
“Danielle, go back and take a seat,” Louis said suddenly as she started her walk backstage.
The crowd started cheering again as we both stood shocked.
What just happened?
“Danielle take Carter’s seat.”
The crowd cheered and I felt bad for Carter.
I mean, they were upset about Dani enough to boo and the crowd was thankful he was gone!
That must be a shot at the confidence.
We all hugged Carter before he walked off.
The rest of the show was full of celebrating as the Girls’ group performed, and most of their performances were amazing and showed that the girls were desperate for this.
That night, everyone had their own rooms to sleep in.
What did Dani and I do?
We watched movies until two in the morning.
It was the first time in a long time that I had fallen asleep without fear of what was to come once my mother passed out from the drugs, and without pain searing in my body from the abuse I was subjected to.
It was the first night I felt… free.

Hello!
It took me forever to find the song I wanted her to do, and yes, I did change it. As unhappy with this story as I was, I was also unhappy with the songs I chose for her to sing.
Her audition song remained the same and some of the later ones I had chosen did, but 95% of them changed because she was all over the place for genres and I realized how... unrealistic that was, so I changed it. :)
