Amy's POV
It's been a week since the arrest of Rebecca or what's her name. The one who bruised my daughter. We took Emily to her doctor and he sighed when he got to know what happened. Doctor Turner examined her and made me an appointment with a specialist to make sure there is no brain damage because Emily had a weird bump on her head and he thinks it could be serious.
We are at the hospital right now, Emily is freaking out and me and Liam are trying to help her calm down. I don't blame her though, me and Liam are both terrified but we have to stay strong for her.
"Emily sweetie, it's going to be alright. I promise." I told her as I held her in my arms while she whimpered.
"But-t what if-f not-t mommy ?" She said crying even more.
"Then we will get you all the help possible baby" I was on the verge of tears myself knowing the circumstances and the consequences of all this. Seeing her like this broke me. Liam is comforting both of us.
"Emily Payne" A nurse called. We all stood up and she led us to an office that said Doctor Fields.
"Hello, I'm Doctor Fields you must be the Payne's." I smiled hearing him say that.
"Hello, yes I'm Liam, this is Amy and Emily" Liam said. We sat down and Emily had lowered her sobs but was clinging to my shirt with her head buried in my chest.
"Doctor Turner called me and explained everything. Hello Emily, how are you ?" Emily looked up at the doctor.
"I otay" She hid again in my neck.
"Can you sit over there for a bit sweetie ?" She whimpered a little but allowed me to place her on the small bed there was. I held her hand and we all smiled at her to show her it was okay. The doctor examined her and then returned to his seat.
"Well, I will do some tests to result her diagnosis and tell you what I conclude with in an hour or so. You may wait outside." Me and Liam exchanged worried glances and Emily started whimpering a little. There was definitely something wrong now.
When we got to the waiting room we saw the boys there, we walked up to them and Emily went to Niall.
1 hour later
"Doctor Fields will see you know" A nurse said approaching us.
"Liam, I think it's best if Emily doesn't come in with us to know what's wrong." He nodded understanding.
"Hey Em, you are gonna stay here with uncle Ni, while me and Daddy go back to talk to the doctor okay ?" She nodded and cuddled to Niall. The boys gave us sympathetic looks and we made our way back. I was really nervous and Liam noticed and squeezed my hand reassuringly.
"Well, Emily has a lump on her head as you have noticed and a huge bump which i'm guessing was a cause of what happend, what i'm mostly worried about is that lump because it's cancerous. If not removed immediately by surgery I'm afraid the cancer will spread and the results would be lethal." That's all I heard before I blacked out.
Liam's POV

I looked at Amy and she was staring in space and then passed out. I caught her in my arms and the doctor let me lay her on the small bed while he brought over a damp cloth and a glass of water. I cried even more seeing my family like this.

Why Emily ? She has been through so much and we were making her happy then that bitch had to beat her. And Amy, she was so happy and loves Emily so much. How will we get through this ?
After a while I saw Amy wake up.
"Mrs Payne are you okay ? How are you feeling ?" She looked from me to the doctor a bunch of times before bursting into tears. She kept repeating 'My little Emily' over and over again. I hugged her and helped her to her feat.
"I know this is though on you and I am very sorry for the situation, I advice you to make your decision about the surgery fast."
"No questions asked, of course it's a yes." I screamed at the doctor and Amy nodded her head fast.
"Okay, I can schedule her in for tomorrow since this is a very serious case. She may stay the night tonight and then she will be prepped for surgery tomorrow morning. If all goes well, by Friday she will be home and you will have a loving Christmas with you whole family."
"What do you mean if all goes well ? She has to be okay Liam, she has to." Amy whimpered in my arms as the doctor looked at us sympathetically.
"Of course she'll be fine honey, she's strong." I soothed.
"I just need you to sign for her surgery and then a nurse will lead you to a room for tonight, you may both stay with her if you want." The doctor voiced and we nodded taking the pen he was gesturing towards us as we read over the paper and eventually signing it. We thanked him and then exited the office and stood in the corridor hugging.
"How are we gonna tell her Li ?" She croaked out.
"Let's just tell her the truth honey, remember the shots ? If we just tell her then she won't be freaked as much rather than if she's surprised. She'll be fine I promise."
"Okay." She agreed and we walked into the waiting room of the hospital.
"Emily" Amy exclaimed rushing to her. "What did he say mommy ?" Emily asked. Amy took a deep breath whilst the boys gathered around to listen. "Listen baby, tonight we are going to sleep here and then tomorrow the nice doctor will make it all better and then we will live a happy life and won't have to think about it anymore. How does that sound ?" Emily looked scared but nodded. "Otay mommy, will I be otay for Chwismas ?" We chuckled and Amy nodded, "Of course baby, now this nice nurse is going to take us to your room for tonight, mommy and daddy are going to sleep with you all night, you won't be alone and then tomorrow it will be all over, I promise." Emily nodded and hugged Amy tightly, I embraced my family in a hug as we made our way with the nurse to a room which we will occupy for the night.
Through the whole night we didn't sleep a bit, Emily however slept alright which I was grateful for. I had phoned my parents whilst the boys phoned theirs and they will keep us in their prayers tomorrow and promised to see us very soon. Emily and Amy haven't met them yet.
Amy phoned Simon and her crew to let them know that we won't be in for work this week due to the circumstances and they too wished little Emily well.
In the morning Emily was given a shot that made her sleepy, we told her that when she will wake up she will have a lot of presents and sweets and that all will be okay. 3 hours of surgery felt like an eternity but finally the doctor exited the operating theater and told us that all went well. We sighed in relief and notified our parents.
"It all went away baby girl, the doctors fixed you." Amy said as she hugged Emily. "Fankyuw" Emily said to doctor Fields.
We left the hospital on Friday as promised and returned to our festivities but not before going to court.
2 days later
Today we have court to see the verdict for our case. Since Emily has been out of the hospital we have told her to watch her head and she understood. We all stopped work to focus on Christmas. Simon understood the situation and agreed that we will return when we have to.
-At the court house-
"We are here today for the case of Emily Payne." Someone said, I wasn't really paying attention. Amy gave her statement and Emily did so too. Then some lawyer talked and Rebecca talked as well. The doctor was there too to tell them about the damages that Rebecca caused. Niall took Emily out when he was talking and Amy sobbed hearing that again, we all shed a tear while that bitch smirked. The recording of Rebecca admitting her actions and threatening Amy and Emily was played and some pictures of Emily's bruises were shown.
"The verdict of this case will now be announced" Someone said.
"Rebecca Marie Winston you are hereby found guilty of threatening Ms Rodriguez and Ms Payne and Child abuse. You will serve 20 years in jail and pay $600,000 for putting little Emily's life at risk. Emily Payne is found innocent and will be given free perfect health attendance until the day she is cured if not Rebecca Marie Winston will be put in jail for life and the fee will double. Court dismissed. Case closed." The judge pounded the gavel and we exited the court room
1 week later
Amy's POV
This week Simon moved us to a huge mansion for the holidays. It's Christmas Eve and I'm currently getting ready to meet Liam's parents and I'm very nervous. I had attended my doctors appointment and I was fine and was suppose to be able to have kids. That bitch Rebecca got what she deserves at least even though I wanted to kill her with my bare hands.
Ashley is currently getting me and Emily ready to meet Liam's parents, the boy's parents are coming later on as well. They will be living with us until Christmas.

Me and Emily were sorta matching. It was cute. I met Liam downstairs and they were already here talking to the boys.
"Amy, these are my parents. Karen and Geoff. Emily these are your grandma and grandpa." Liam said. Emily waved shyly and I shook their hands.
"Hello little Emily, you look really pretty." Karen said as she crouched down to Emily's level. Emily was hiding behind my legs.
"Fankyuw gwandma" She said hiding even more.
"You don't have to be shy little one, you are very beautiful." Geoff said crouching down too.
Emily came out from my legs and hugged them. Liam took pictures and then Emily lifted her arms up for me to pick her up.
"Amy, we have heard so much about you, you are very pretty." I blushed.
"Thank you Mrs.Payne." I said shyly.
"Nonsense, call me Karen sweetie." I nodded and we hugged.
"Liam has not shut up about you since he met you." Geoff said. It was Liam's turn to blush.
"He called us and was like, mum I saw a girl at McDonald's and she was very pretty and then pretty much drew us a picture of all your features." Karen said. I blushed and so did Liam.
"Oh wow Liam, you didn't have to." I said getting embarrassed.
"Don't be embarrassed sweetie, I don't blame him for doing so. He never did anything like that before, he loves you very much."
"I love him too, he's my everything. Literally. Him and the boys are my family and little Emily of course." I said tickling her and we all giggled.
"Oh yes Liam told us about your parents, so sorry to hear."
"Don't worry about it, I'm just glad I met Liam." I said side hugging him.
"If you need anything tell us, we are like your parents now too you know." Geoff said.
"Thank you, you're really nice." We smiled.
"I think we should get going to the restaurant, everyone will be waiting. Mum where are Ruth and Nicola ?" Liam said.
"They're meeting us there." Liam said 'oh' and we got in the car.
We were meeting everyone at a restaurant. Emily got in deep conversation with Karen and Geoff, she's really warming up to them. They're her only grandparents. Liam held my hand the whole car ride and was kissing my temple once in a while. We arrived at a fancy restaurant and a waitress lead us to a backroom which was reserved for us since we were going to be like 30 people. We were Me, Liam, Emily, Karen, Geoff, Nicola, Ruth and her husband, Louis, Freddie, Danielle, his parents and all his siblings, Harry,his parents and Gemma, Niall, his parents, Greg,his wife and Theo. A huge family we got.
We entered the room and everyone waved and said hi. Soon enough we were all introduced. I got close with Louis's siblings they're very cute. Theo wouldn't leave my side and so was Freddie. I was having a little problem having all these kids surrounding me. Liam noticed and took pictures. That bastard.
"Liam, a little help." I said.
"No, I think you're good babe." He said smirking. I love these kids but I need a break. Finally after a couple of hours Niall took Theo, Louis took Freddie and his siblings and I was left with a tired Emily.
"Okay everyone, I think we should leave and get everyone settled in the house." Liam announced, everyone agreed and we drove back home. I put Emily to bed quickly because she was asleep and helped everyone to their rooms. After an hour of Louis's sibling fighting over the bunk beds and which room they were gonna take, we were all settled.
The parents were on the porch chatting, the kids were asleep and me and the boys were in the back yard chilling.
"How do you like our families Amy ?" Harry asked.
"Well, yours are very nice, Niall's are amazing, Louis's are cute but crazy and Liam's are perfect."
"At least she's honest." Louis said and we all laughed.
We went inside after a while and put all the presents under the huge tree and there was a LOT. We filled the stockings with stuff we had bought, mainly candy and small toys for the kids. Ashley came late and parked Liam's car in the garage. She gave me the keys and I put them in a ring box. We ate the cookies and drank the milk that the kids made for 'Santa' and went to bed. Tomorrow is going to be crazy.

In the morning I got up in Liam's arms.
"Merry Christmas babe." I said kissing him awake. He moaned and kissed me back.
"Merry Christmas beautiful." We made out for a while. Hey, it's Christmas okay.
"I can't wait till I give you your present you are gonna love it." I wasn't half lying but I wanted to see his reaction it was going to be priceless.
"Hmm me too. Can we like stay in bed all day and make out or maybe-" He started kissing my neck and I giggled. We haven't done it yet and I was proud, we made it through a year together and Liam didn't care about that stuff.
"I wish we could but Emily would kill us if we miss Christmas." I said laughing.
"Wait. You want to ?" He said wide eyed.
"Umm, yea but I wanted it to be special you know. My first time was rape so I kinda want it to be great this time."
"I promise I will make it perfect babe."
"I'm kinda nervous because it hurt like hell"
"I will never hurt you babe, If I will I will stop, promise."
"Okay"
"Look, it will happen, when it will happen. Let's not force it." He said.
"Thanks Liam, I love you"

We cuddled for a while until we realized it was 10 am and everyone was asleep, wow. We made our way downstairs and made Christmas breakfast, then woke Emily up. Soon enough everyone was up because Emily decided to run around the house screaming 'Christmas' at the top of her lungs. But no one cared because it's Christmas. When everyone had breakfast which took 2 hours to settle due to fighting over who would cook, moms. We all settled in the huge living room were everyone was seated on the huge couch and the kids were on the floor around the tree.
A million gifts later
"Hey Liam, time for your amazing gift." I said and everyone looked at Liam. No one knew what was going on. I gave him a box with a key chain and he opened it smiling but then frowned and put a fake smile.
"Do you like it, it's so cool it even lights up look." I said and took it from him and pressed a button and it lit up. He smiled and gave me a kiss.
"I love it thank you" Everyone looked at me like 'WTF worst gift ever.' I looked at everyone as they sat mouth agape with a straight face but then laughed my ass off.
"What's so funny ?" Liam asked me.
"Your face" I said pointing at him.
"Gee thanks babe" He said.
"No not that-" I was laughing so hard.
"Oh Liam, you really think I got you that ?" He nodded and everyone was interested to see where this was going.
"You're too cute, I gave you the worst gift in Christmas history and you liked it."
"Okay babe, I don't get it."
"Oh Liam, here" I said giving him a box.
His eyes went wide.
"No" He said shocked.
"You wanna see it ?"
"Hell yeah, Oh my god. You didn't"
"I did, only the best for you" I said kissing him.
Liam lifted the keys from the box for everyone to see and they awed and clapped.
"Okay put this on and wait for me outside, I'll go bring it out." He nodded and went outside along with everyone and put on the blind fold.
I got in and drove the car, everyone gasped making Liam more impatient and excited.
I honked the horn and Liam took off his blindfold and saw his brand new Porsche.
His eyes went so wide I thought they were gonna fall out. I got out of the car and he hugged me and kissed me all over my face. I laughed.
"So I'm guessing you like it." I said.
"Like it ? HELL NO I LOOOOOVE IT. But I love you more, you're the best. Thank you so much"
After a while of everyone adoring the car and congratulating Liam we went back inside.
"Okay, everyone. Amy it's time for your gift from me." I smiled widely as all eyes were on me.
A song started to faintly play in the background but I couldn't make out what it was.
"Amy, when I saw you in McDonald's for the first time I was mesmerized you were in the back hiding from everyone trying to be alone but your beauty shined bright and caught my eye. All the guys saw me practically drooling over you so they pulled me to your table. You thought we sat there because we didn't see you but we did. After we hung out, exchanged numbers and I drove you home I called my mom and gave her a eulogy on how beautiful and amazing you are just from looking at you and spending 2 hours with you. I have never felt this way before and I'm glad to feel this way with you. You bring me joy and happiness in my life. Since we adopted little Emily we felt complete. I love you and our little family. We have gone to hell and back together in just a year but we have made it through. We have more challenges in life still to conquer together but I know that together we will make it through. I love you and would be very honored to call you mine forever and ever." He got off of the sofa and bent on a knee. "Will you marry me ?"Everyone gasped and I was crying with tears of joy, I love him so much I can't believe he did this. He had started crying during his speech as well. I nodded rapidly.
"Yes, Liam I will marry you" He slid a ring on my finger but I didn't even look at it because he cupped my face and kissed me. Everyone cheered and the boys wolf whistled.
"Yay, daddy is gonna mawwy mommy." Emily cheered hugging us.
"Yeah baby, would you like that ?" She nodded her head in such a cute way. Her pig tales were bouncing.

"Best Christmas Ever" I said hugging my family, I couldn't be any happier.
