Coffee?

ASH POV:
"An Americano to go please" The final customer of the day politely asks.
"sure, can I take your name?"
"Michael" He replies.
I quickly make his coffee and shout for him to collect his order.
"$3, please" I say, smiling because this is my last order for the night.
As the last customer leaves the shop, I start to collect my things. I was goodbye to the shop owner, Ted, and head out the door. I begin the quick walk home. My building is only around the corner, so it doesn't take long to reach my dorm.

*9 am the next morning*
DAHLIA POV:

I stroll along to my favourite coffee shop before my first class. I head in, and I'm instantly hit with the strong, yet familiar, scent of coffee.
"A caramel iced latte with extra coffee and extra caramel please" I politely ask the young, and rather handsome, barista.
"Tough day ahead?" He asks.
"You could say that. I have classes until 4."
"Good luck with that. Can I take your name?" He chuckles.
"Dahlia" I smile.
"Wow. Pretty name for a pretty name." He replies cheekily.
"And what's yours? Cheese on toast?" I snap back jokingly.
"Ashton actually, but close enough."
"Well Ashton, it's nice to meet you!" I laugh. We exchange a few sentences before and older girl calls my name. I collect my coffee and head for the door, giving Ashton a smile on the way out. I walk to class with a smile on my face and coffee in hand.
