Chapter 21: Epilogue

Dear Kayla,

Hi, Kayla. You should know who this letter is from, it’s daddy! I was writing this to tell you how life is as we wait for you come into the world.

Your mommy is getting really big, but I won’t say that to her face. It might make her mad. But she is just so happy that you are growing and she can’t wait to see you. I can’t wait to see you either. We also can’t wait until you are older and get to read all of these letters that we have written to you.

I also have good news of you, Kayla. You will have a little playmate soon after you are born. Your mom and I found out that Uncle Louis and Aunt Eleanor are expecting a little bundle of joy themselves. I am just so excited.

I think that is all that I have to say for today. Daddy needs to go so he can go and wake up mommy. Today is mommy and daddy’s third anniversary!

Well, we can’t wait to meet you. Daddy loves you baby girl.

I finished the letter and head off toward our bedroom. I had an amazing day planned for my beautiful wife, and I wasn’t about to let her miss it.
