Lavender & Roses

XXIII

I sighed and rolled onto my back as much as I could. Harry was still sound asleep behind me, his arm draped over my waist. I smiled at the sight of his exhausted face. I peeked at the clock. Just after nine in the morning. Why was I up so early? Harry and I stayed awake until well after three talking and kissing on the sofa. I turned to face Harry. I grinned, running my fingertips over his plump bottom lip then over his strong, chiseled jaw. I carefully snuggled closer to him, resting my cheek against his chest, tucking my head under his chin.
"Morning, baby." Harry murmured, tightening his grip on my waist. The sound of his sleepy voice made my thighs twitch with the desire. His voice was always an octave deeper, raspy and sexy first thing in the morning. I gazed up at his half closed eyes. "What? You don't have a good morning for me?" Harry teased. I bit my lip then pressed my mouth to his softly. I groaned into his lips as he deepened the kiss, caressing my tongue with his and burying a hand in my hair. Without any warning, a switch flipped in my brain, I pushed Harry onto his back and climbed on top of him. I rested my hands on his strong, warm chest. Harry rested his hands on my hips, digging his fingertips into my flesh. Without thinking, my hips slowly started to grind on his. Harry groaned into the kiss quietly, his hands sliding from my hips up my shirt. I hummed into his lips wanting to feel more of his touch. As Harry's hand slipped up the front of my shirt, making it's way to cup my breast, my brain slowly started to come to grips. Harry's thumb swiping over my taut nipple sent a shiver down my spine. I felt the ache in my thighs that he'd created so quickly the day before. I backed out of the kiss quickly and pushed his hand away when I felt my insides start to throb from wanting his touch.
"Harry, stop." I murmured. Harry quickly pulled his hand from my shirt and opened his eyes.
"What's wrong, Sadie?" He was out of breath, his eyes full of lust and worry.
I blushed and bit my lip, "I just...I want to...you know and I don't think it's a good idea."
"Okay." Harry smiled but I could tell he was a little disappointed. "Hey. It's okay, baby." Harry murmured sitting up. He wound his arms around my waist and held me close. "It's okay. But you know I'd never hurt you, right?" I nodded slowly. "Tell me why you think it's a bad idea."
"I'm worried about you." I nearly whispered. Harry lifted his eyebrow at me. I blushed as I stated, "I can get a little crazy sometimes. I just wanna wait until I feel a little more stable. When I'm not going to be like...really weird."
Harry brushed the hair away from my face, "I will want to be with you no matter how weird you think you are." He kissed my lips softly, trying to soothe me even more. "I might like you just as much, maybe even more if you try to manhandle me." He chuckled. I nodded and buried my face in his neck. Harry began rubbing my back slowly. "Come on. Let's cuddle on the sofa and watch a bad film." I agreed with a tender smile.

Harry and I laid on the sofa contently, both of us completely engrossed in a strange foreign film. I gently drew small patterns on his chest as I rested my head in the crook of his neck. Harry lightly skimmed his fingers over the tender skin of my thigh. I giggled and held him tighter. Harry chuckled and kissed my hair softly. We were brought out of our little moment by the sound of beating on my door. I looked up at Harry startled and confused. He shrugged and released me from his grasp.
I made my way to the door quickly, wondering who would be knocking so violently. I flung the door open to see Niall standing there with a pissed off expression. I smiled warmly at him only to have him push passed me into the flat.
"Niall, are you alright?" I asked, wondering why he was barging in in such a manner. "Ni?" I asked again, following him to the living room.
"What the fuck is he doing here?" Niall asked, pointing to Harry who was still lounging on my sofa.
"Hanging out with me?" I replied honestly. "We're watching this really weird movie." I motioned to the television. "What are you doing here so pissed off? What happened?" I asked plainly.
"I've not heard from you in almost two days. Then last night Harry was supposed to pick you up and bring you to Louis' house and neither of you showed. What in the hell is going on?" Niall shouted. I folded my arms over my chest and glared at him. Niall spun around to Harry, "You know I thought that as my best friend, you'd listen to me. Not do what you're doing." Harry sat up and watched Niall with worried eyes. "Seriously, Harry, just go." Niall instructed.
I pointed at Harry as I spoke through gritted teeth, "Sit. Down." Harry returned his bum to my sofa. "You leave, Niall." Niall's jaw dropped. "You can't come into my flat and start bossing people around. I'm sorry that you're upset with me, for whatever reason you're upset with me. But you can't do that. I would never do that to you." I spoke calmly even though I didn't want to at all.
"Seriously, you don't understand why I'm upset?" Niall shouted at me. I shrugged my shoulders quickly. "You and Harry are supposed to come to Louis' house but you don't show. Its nearly two in the afternoon and you've not texted me, what am I supposed to think?" Niall asked.
"That I'm busy?" I replied with attitude. Niall glared at me intensely. "Oh my God, Niall James Horan!" I shouted when it dawned on me what he was saying. "You are such a guy! I like Harry's company! I like talking to him! He makes me feel comfortable! What is so wrong with that?"
Niall sighed, "DeeDee..."
"What? I'm just not allowed to have friends other than you?" I shouted at him, flailing my arms in the air. "You're ridiculous! You complain and complain that I don't talk to enough people and now, when I find someone I feel like I can talk to like I do you, you get all over-protective!"
"DeeDee, I know you and I know Harry. This is not just a friendship." Niall grunted at me.
"Get out, Niall." I grunted. Niall's jaw dropped again. "Get out. I've had enough of you. Get out."
"DeeDee, would you just listen to me!" Niall pleaded.
"No. Leave. Maybe I'll talk to you tomorrow. But I've had enough for today. Out." I pointed to the door. Niall dropped his head and trudged toward the door; I followed closely. As he exited my flat and entered the hall, I slammed the door. I locked it quickly.
"Sadie, baby." Harry murmured as I entered the living room again. I smiled at him sweetly. He held his hand out to me. I placed my hand in his and he pulled me into his lap. I straddled his hips, resting my bum on his thighs. I rested my hands on his neck, stroking his jaw with my thumbs. "I have a question for you." I nodded slowly. "What would you say if I said I wanted you to meet my Mum and my sister?"
My faced flushed pink and I chewed my bottom lip, "I don't know. I don't...isn't it a little soon for that, Harry?"
Harry shook his head, "I don't think so. I've met your parents. Why would it be too soon for you to meet my family?" I sat quietly and debated it for a little bit. "Baby, I think they'll really love you and you'll love them. Please?"
"I don't know, Harry. I'm not...I'm not good at that kind of stuff. You'd have to hold my hand the whole time. I'll have to take extra medications. I don't know if they'll actually like me." I spoke quickly of my concerns.
"Fine. I'll hold your hand. I'll make sure that I throw your medications in the car. I want you to meet them, please." Harry begged.
"When do you want to do that?" I asked shyly.
"Soon. I can text my mum now." Harry grinned brightly. I agreed with a nod. It scared me more than anything to decided to meet Harry's mum and sister. I didn't usually make it that far with my relationships. Harry pulled his phone from his pocket and texted his mum quickly. Within moments, he had a reply. He grinned at the phone as he typed at lightning speed. "My mum said that we could come over on Sunday. She wants to meet you." Harry grinned, throwing his phone onto the coffee table. I nodded, still nervous about the matter. "It will be alright. I know that she'll adore you. I promise." I didn't know what to say. "Do you want me to make it up to you?" Harry wore a devilish smirk, similar to the one he wore the day before.
"Yes." I nearly whispered, wanting more than innocent cuddles. Harry leaned forward and meshed his lips to mine gently. I buried my hand in his hair and deepened the kiss. Harry's arms snaked around my waist and he pulled my body tighter to his.
"It will be all good, Sadie. I promise." Harry assured me as his lips teased mine.

"Harry." I murmured as we curled into bed. He smiled at me, letting me know I had his attention. "Why did you decided that now was a good time for you to bring me to meet your mother?" I inquired.
"Because I did." He smirked. I glared at him. Harry laughed quietly, "Because I like you. You've been showing me over and over that you really care about me. I figure you need to be shown that I care for you just as much."
"Yeah, 'cause that magic you work with those lips isn't enough." I teased, running my thumb over his bottom lip. Harry grinned and kissed me tenderly.
"No. It's not. I've met your mum and dad. You've been arguing with Niall over me. My sister and my mum are the closest people to me in my life. If you meet them, then I know that I care about you just as much. Okay?" Harry spoke with fervor.
"So, Sunday dinner with your mother." I mused. Harry nodded slowly. "Anything else you wanna tell me about it?" I inquired, feeling like he was holding something back.
"We're going to stay the night with her. " Harry informed me. My face dropped and I felt like I was going to be sick. "Don't worry, baby. It'll be okay." I gave him a blank look. "You can sleep with me. I'll have a candle in the room for you. I'll even grab your sleeping pills if you think it'll help. I don't want you to freak out. We'll have a good time." Harry tried to sound as sure of himself as he could. I nodded slowly. "My sister is excited to meet you too." Harry grinned. "She thought you were really sweet when she talked to you on the phone when I asked you out the first time." Harry informed me. "Apparently, she was quite pleased with how nervous you sounded just trying to call me." Harry chuckled.
I blushed, "You still make me nervous all of the time."
"Is that so?" Harry smirked. "Even when I'm workin' the sexy magic with my lips?" Harry teased.
I giggled and held his face gently, "Especially then." I kissed him softly. "I wanna meet them. I'm just afraid they won't like me or will try to get you to break up with me because I'm...well, for lack of a better term, I'm broken."
Harry glared at me, "No, you're not. You work differently. Doesn't mean you're broken." I gave him a blank stare. "A sun dial and a digital clock, they do the same thing. Is one of them broken?" I shook my head slowly. "You're my sun dial in a world of digital clocks, baby." Harry grinned. I pressed my lips to his passionately. Harry wound his arms around my waist and pulled my leg over his hips. "Are you going to have fun at my mother's?" Harry breathed into the kiss.
"If you keep kissing me until I fall asleep." I whimpered, burying my hands in his hair.
