An Accidental Letter

Louise’s POV

I walked back into the livingroom and sat down on the couch.

“Mum?” I looked up to see Tommy and Sadie walking into the room.

“Yes?” They came over and both sat on my lap. Or tried to.

“Can we watch a movie?” I nodded.
“Sure, what do you want to watch?”

“Zootopia!” They said in unison. I just laughed as Sadie got up and put the disc in the DVD player. Tommy got us a large blanket and snuggled into my sides.

“Did you guys know that this movie came out about twenty years ago?” They giggled.

“Mummy you’re old!” Sadie said playfully. Anybody older than 25 was old in their eyes.

“Shh.” Tommy said. “The movie’s starting.” We quickly turned off the lights and settled in. Freya arrived home right after the movie ended. Tommy and Sadie had gone to bed and Freya and I sat on the couch talking.

Freya’s POV

“So… How was the movie?” Mum asked me.

“It was REALLY good. I have to tell Uncle Li about it.”

“Well, you have the chance to tell him tomorrow.” She responded. I gave her a weird look. “It’s Sophia and my birthday tomorrow and Tigs birthday next week. Everybody is coming tomorrow for the birthday celebration.” I nodded.

“Well, I’m gonna go upstairs now.” I said, walking upstairs. She nodded.

“Good night Frey.” She exclaimed from downstairs. I walked into my room, zipped off my dress and hopped in the shower. When I got out, I got changed and climbed into bed. That was when I finally started crying. I thought we were perfect together and then unexpectedly, he broke up with me. I heard a knock on my door, so I forced myself to stop crying.

“Freya?” I heard my younger sister say. I sat up a bit.

“Yeah?” I said, my voice cracking a bit despite my efforts to hide it.

“Can I sleep in here?” I nodded and opened up the covers. “Were you crying?” I sighed as she climbed onto the bed and sat cross legged next to me.

“Yeah.”

“Why?”

“You know how I was dating Clayton?” She nodded, she was the only one in the family that had known since the beginning.

“Yeah, for like 4 months.” I nodded.

“Well, today, he broke up with me for no reason.” She looked at me confused. I started to tear up again. “I’m sorry.” I stated as I broke down. She immediately put her arms around me. I pulled her close to me, trying to muffle my sobs in her messy, curly hair. Of course she wouldn’t understand what it means to break up, but she realized i was upset. When my crying finally subsided, I looked down to see Sadie asleep. I just smiled and layed her down before laying down myself.
