READY TO RUN

"Oh come on please Harry." I hold up the prom poster, "like I said it's not my thing but you can go." He says for the millionth time.

"Umm no I can't go alone." I put the paper in the bin as we walk out of school. "Is it because of all this rebuilding stuff with Louis going on?"

Over the past few weeks Louis and Harry have been trying to rebuild their relationship, it's early stages but hopefully within time they will work through it. Linc and him on the other hand are going strong which is weird because Harry used to despise him and not want anything to do with him, but I am glad they are finally bonding like brothers.

"No it's just I don't feel like going." He says again. "Ok." I drop the subject now. We lean against the pier pillar.

"Oh there's Jake, I'll be back." I drop my bag and head in the surf club where he just went in.



Harry's POV:

"Ok I'll be there soon." I hang up with Liam. I love Louisa with all my heart but I need my bro time as well, so I'll meet him and Niall a bit later.

"Hey." I see Jess and she stands next to me. "Hey." I have no idea why she is friendly with me lately, it's weird.

"So I heard about the proml." She says
"Yea I'm not going." I say
"Yea Jake asked me, but I just feel like I'd be out of place."
"Hey." She nudges my elbow. "Maybe we can hang out that night." She suggests, "yea that's an idea."

"Cool." She smiles.


She then starts to talk to me about some random stuff and I gage in and out of the conversation.

"Yea I never thought I would work at a gym, but it's money at the end of the day. Besides I get to check out all hot buff men walk in everyday." She rants on about her new job.

"Don't worry none of the are just as buff as you." She touches my arm.


"Harry hey." Jake approaches us, thank god. "jake hey." I usher him over.

"Got a text the guys wanna hang out." He informs me. "Yea we can walk over in ten."
"Ok I'll let you guys bond." Jess says and finally leaves.

"So your not going prom either." Jake says. "Louisa?" I reply.
"Yea I think you should ask her, you know she's a girl and we never really had anything like this back home." He tells me.





"Well do you think she would care, if I went as me."? I ask Jake. "As you?" He raises an eyebrow.
"You know, black skinnies, shirt. My usual attire. I can't really afford a suit." I say honestly.

"Of course she would mate. She digs this whole style." Jake pats me on my back.


"Hey." I see Louisa come back. I grab her by her hands. "Hey." I peck her lips. She giggles so cute she is.

"Everything ok?" She smiles. "Not really."
"What, why what's wrong." She panics. I play myself down a bit. "Well I was wondering." I swing her arm, "will you go to prom with me."

Her eyes light up. "OH MY GOD REALLY?" She yells. "Yes I wanna go to prom with you!"

"YESS!!" She jumps and I hold her by her waist and spin her around.

"Ahh you caved" Louisa and I get out of embrace and see Jess. "I can't wait to go to prom with you Harry." Louisa says very evidently in a tone so Jess hears.

"I'm gonna go to then!" Jess interrupts yet again. "With who?" Lou asks her.

"Umm Jake actually." Jess then walks away, probably to go find Jake,

"Hey baby who care, this will be our special night." I bring her face back to mine and kiss her lips.

Prom will be fun. I'll be with the boys and the girl I love what could possibly go wrong?
