READY TO RUN
24.
"Hey Harry, is anyone going to be home?" I ask him as he makes some popcorn in the kitchen.
"No why?" He laughs. "I'm just wondering." I laugh
We both sit on his couch with the bowl of popcorn on the table in front of us. "How are things with Louis?" I ask him.
"Yea alright I guess." He brushes it off. "Maybe you should talk about" I rub his shoulder.
"Oh I have already with Jess the other day."
Don't Panic Lou, don't panic. "With J-Jess?" I stutter on her name. "Yea we ran into each other the other day, and she knows the history I have with Louis so yea." Harry explains.
"Yea fair enough." I whisper.
"Are you upset? Or something?" He asks me. "No of course not ." I lie.
"You are allowed to be friends with your ex" Said no one ever my subconscious yells.
I give him a quick kiss on the lips. "actually what's the time?" I get my phone. "Shit sorry I have to go otherwise I'll miss the bus." I stand up
"Ahh I can't wait till I get my licence then I can take you anywhere."
"Yea me either.." I kiss his lips again. "Love you." He says.
"Oh love you too." I step outside his front door and wait for it to close. I have a moment to myself to reflect on what Harry had just told me.
I need to clam down though, but what she said the other day at the gym about us not being serious, and now Harry and Jess having chats I cannot stay calm, but I will try for Harry's sake.
I sit at the diner with my uncle, "chocolate cake please" He orders us.
"So what's on your mind Lou?" He notices.
"Nothing." I say unconvincingly. "Come on." He prompts.
"It's just Harry and Jess are suddenly talking and friends again, and I don't want to be the jealous kind of girlfriend."
"Well has he given you a reason to be concerned.?" My uncles asks.
"Well no. But she wants him back, and she's tall, pretty, tall." I repeat.
"Your more pretty." He says and I smile, sitting here it's like taking to my dad they are so much alike. "Why he could back anyway?"
"I don't know they have a history together" That's the only reason, I won't say the other might be weird in front of my uncle.
"Look just be honest with him, trust me it might be easier to bury your feelings. But your better off being up front about them" He says.
He does have a very solid point.

I get changed for school and text Harry to meet me at he diner before we walk.
I get to the diner and see him waiting. I make my way over and put my school bag down. "Look I kind of lied to you yesterday. I'm not really comfortable with you seeing Jess anymore" I say in one mouthful.
"We only hung out once." HE says
"Look it's weird, and the fact you talk to her instead of me." I say and he looks confused.
"Are you serious.?" He asks me. "I can't help how I feel about it Harry." I say truthfully.
"I think you can. Look Lou you know how I feel about you. So why are you making problems when there aren't any?" He stands up in anger and leaves brushing past me.
