"Ok so you have everything you need right." Jake ask me again. I nod my head. "Just relax be yourself. you'll be fine."

"Oh hey guys!" I see a very tall pretty blonde girl come in the classroom. "This is my sister Louis, Lou for short."
"Oh hi I've heard so much about you. I'm jess" She takes my hand and politely shakes it. I then see a tall figure with piercing green eyes behind her and she lightly elbows him the stomach.

"What?" He moans. "Ah sorry this is my boyfriend Harry, he has his moods" She chuckles.
"So how come you've only transferred to California High now?" She asks me as we all take a seat.
"Oh I was a bit skeptical moving here. But this place is amazing. I see why my brother was nagging me about."

"yea it's pretty amazing here, I mean the beach no rain, always sunny." Jess flashes a smile. "So maybe we can all have lunch on the beach later" She suggests and I nod my head which much excitement.

"See your making friends already," Jake whispers.

My first day of this new school progresses. I was nervous to begin with. I am very shy kind of girl and don't make friends easily but I'm glad Jake and I have someone to sit with at lunch.


"Ok so your next class is here." Jake escorts me to the classroom. I thank him and will see him on the beach for lunch after class.

I sit awkwardly alone in this bust classroom filled with chatter. I then see Harry I think his name was walk, I flash a smile but it goes unnoticed as he brushes past me. He takes a seat at the back of the classroom with two other guys.

"And that's the diner. We hang out there mostly weekends and some lunchtimes." Jess tells me as we walk along the beach.
"Awesome" I say and we sit on the sand waiting for Jake and Harry to come join us.
"Your a pretty quite girl aren't you?" She notices.

"Yea well usually takes me a while to make friends." I say moving a piece of hair out of my face from the mild wind.
"Oh it's ok" You got me" She puts her arm around my shoulder. "we should hang out this weekend, you me."

That'd be great.!" I smile.

"So you and your brother a pretty close" She unwraps her lunch. "Yea well we are twins. I am older by ten minutes though."

"He also told me about your parents I'm sorry." My tears try to tear up but I won't let them.

My mum died of cancer, then dad a car accident few years ago. "Yea well I'm so blessed to have my aunt Hannah."

Hannah is my mum's sister she took us in after dad died, partly the reason Jake and I moved to California from New York.

"How about your family.?" I ask her.

"i ran away from home, ended up here and that's it really." Wow ran away i think to myself. "What about Harry's what his story?" I ask curiously. "Oh speaking of" Jess stands and I see Harry and Jake walking towards us.

"Oh trust me no one has a more screwed up family then he does."
