Stressed Out By Twenty One Pilots
I eyed the middle aged woman standing at my door. I must've stared for a long time because the woman was waving her hand in my face and inching towards me. I jerked back while accidentally bumping into someone behind me. A pair of arms catches me before my fall to the ground.
"Are you okay," asked Harry through his thick British accent.
"Yeah, but who the hell are you," turning towards the strange woman at our door.
"You don't remember me, do you?"
"No. Who are you? Wait..."
I study her face a few seconds longer. "Savannah, are you alright," asked Harry. I couldn't answer him because I was in utter shock. It can't be who I think it is. Maybe I'm delirious but it wouldn't hurt to ask. "Mom," I said cautiously.
"My dear Savannah how I missed you," my so called dead mother said. She tried reaching for my face but I stumble backwards.
"I thought you were dead. How could you leave your daughter without a mother?! Is dad alive too? Or is he actually dead," I demanded answers from the mother who abandoned me.
"He's dead. I came here to make things right. Please forgive me," she reaches out for a hug.
I back away once again, trying to avoid an contact with the person I once knew as mom. I don't know what happened next, but all I heard was someone yelling watch out. Total darkness consumes my vision and mind while I drift away into a peaceful, heavy sleep.
