Characters- 9/10

I don’t even know Jeanette and I fucking feel for Harry’s loss. Irene is a bit of a pushover for me but you can argue there’s only so much a person can take before they become downtrodden, wilting flowers. And she even remarks on it when she states that the harder she tries to be strong, the weaker she gets. Girl power points for kneeing Reece in the crotch (I’m very interested in Reece and what he has to do with everything).

Summary- 10/10

Is this the kind of summary that catches my attention? No. Does it summarize the story like it should? YES. Irene’s clearly been crushed and Harry has a repressed need to help her. They’re the same but they’re different- they’re at a dead end but in two different places in a maze. And that trailer has a morbidly upbeat song for how depressing the story is. I actually laughed but in a weird way, I loved it. And props for crediting your cover artist :)

Grammar- 9/10

Just minor spelling mistakes we all make :P

Plot- 10/10

BISH I HAVE SO MANY FUCKING QUESTIONS THAT I WANT ANSWERS TO. It starts with abused girl meeting cute guy and running away. But then he has a connection to her? And then there’s Trevalyn? Like omiGod, i want answers. I want more chapters. Holy Hell, it’s great. Keep doing this. I would so love to see Harry crush Irene.

Overall- 9.6

This is amazing. Really, my only gripes are the grammar and spelling errors (I think you’re just too excited lol and it’s great when authors are excited about their story) and Irene being a pushover (but that’s quite arguable). Otherwise, this is fabulous.

+ self harm is never easy and as someone who’s traded it for drinking, wonderful. I get so sick when I read people describing the ACTION rather than the feeling. It’s about the release

+ break down at Dad’s grave and wondering what Harry was doing, just omiGod. I felt that.
