The Spring Semester [On Hold Indefinitely]

I must have fallen asleep consumed in Harry's scent as I wake up still in his jacket. It was 4am and and beads of sweat covered my forehead. His jacket was far too warm. I took it off and placed it next to me and then wondered what it would be like if it were Harry. I didn't want to wake Jules so I laid in bed until our usual wake time basking in the memory of our kiss.

Class today was sure to be awkward, at least for me. What if Lauren already knew that we kissed? What if she made a scene? I was early and thankfully neither Lauren nor Harry were in class yet. I decided to take my usual seat even if it pisses off Lauren. I need to figure out what to say to Harry. I can't let the kiss make things awkward.

When he enters the room, blood rushes to my cheeks. Way to go, Dani. He flashes his signature dimpled smile and makes his way to the seat next to mine. He seems so unaffected by what happened! Lauren scowls our way when she sees we're together and for the rest of the class I could feel her glare.

Upon dismissal, I take my time gathering my things so Lauren can leave before I make my move.
"Want to go to Bagel Brothers?" I ask Harry once everyone is out and we're walking towards the door.
"Of course!" he agrees, a smile never leaving his face.
We arrive at the small shop and we order our usual. Bagel sandwich with coffee for me but tea for him. My eyes scan for a table furthest from any listeners and make my way over with Harry trailing behind.

We begin eating and making casual conversation about class. Harry seems different today. He looks happy and talking faster than usual. My mind, on the other hand, is scanning the possible ways to start the conversation I brought him here for. As we finish our last bite, I feel it's time.

"Harry, I think you and I should have a talk about...about yesterday."

My stomach is in knots.

Sorry about a short chapter but I will update tomorrow with a new one. It will be in Harry's POV and we'll find out how their conversation goes.
