PAST: FIVE YEARS BACK

'It's not fair! I always get into this because of you!!' Liam complained as he rubbed the back of the car with a sponge.
'Dude, you're my bro and I love you!' Harry chuckled as he washed the muddy tyre of the car.
'My mid finger salutes you', Liam retorted as he raised his middle finger to him.
'Okay I'm sorry! It was my fault, I shouldn't have broken the camera... I'm just... sorry', Harry signed and continued to wash the car.
'No you're not!', Liam yelled, 'you apologize like every time. Last week you broke the window of our room which is still not fixed! Now you've broken Zayn's camera and guess what he's killing me to pay the money! I mean it's your fucking fault... why am I washing cars to earn money and pay it to him! You should be doing it alone!'

'Calm down, Liam. I said I'm sorry. Besides it was Zayn's fault and he's blaming this on me! I'm sorry', Harry sighed and looked down.

'Sorry?' Liam yelled again, ' You've gotta be kidding me! Why do you always have to be the pain in my ass? I have my exam tomorrow... and... I should be studying right now but I'm here washing people's cars with you!' He rolled his eyes and continued to wash the car.

DING DONG: Liam's phone went off

From ALASKA: Wanna come by my place? Mom's out ;)


'Harry, I'm gonna go now. Bob, over there, is gonna pay you in cash and... just hand it over to Zayn and end this story', Liam explained and rushed out.

'So is it for someone special?' the receptionist asked making Harry smile a little, 'Yeah, it is for a special girl', he said.

'She must be very lucky then!' she said, while packing the red dress Harry had bought.

'Yeah', he nodded taking the packed dress and rushed out of the store.

'Okay... okay how am I gonna tell her?', he whispered to himself.

'Alaska Young, I love you. No, no, no. Too blunt'.

'Alaska, I've had a crush on you since you moved in our neighborhood. Nah, that seems kinda stalkerish.'

'Alaska, I've always thought we had some kind of connection. Unspoken of course. Not quiet that either. Be a man, Harry!'

'I dig you. Wait-what? I dig you? Who says that, dummy?'

As Harry was running through what to say on the way, he reached Alaska's house and his excitement vanished when he saw something happening in her backyard.

His heart broke when he saw Liam and Alaska, kissing and giggling and cuddling like love birds.

His heart shattered into pieces and his eyebrows knit together, not believing what he just saw.

Alaska suddenly saw Harry from the corner of her eye and greeted, ' Hi Harry. Come on in'.
Liam turned to Harry and waved.

Harry balled his fists and firmly crushed the shopper of dress in his hands. He was completely frozen and couldn't believe his eyes that the girl he loved the most, the girl who he thought his world of was making out with his own brother.

'You guys are... are... Together?' he mumbled as tears filled in his eyes.

'Yeah, you don't know?' Liam smirked.

'The whole school knows, Harry. We were actually just studying together for tomorrow's exam. Wanna join us?' she asked and smiled a little.

He shook his head, 'no, I... I'm... I'm fine', his voice cracked and he immediately walked out of their sight. He threw the dress in a nearby garbage can and cried silently so that no one could hear him.



He wiped away his tears and went away.
