Priceless

"Jess, love, are you okay?"

Liam was knocking on the bathroom door. I heard some other muffled voices which I am guessing are the boys'.

"Can you please tell us what's wrong."

I stayed inside, because I did not want to see anyone.

I don't understand why my dad has to be who he is. What's bothering him? I am obviously better off without him, and he seems to be just fine without me.

I can't believe that he still thinks I'm a slut. And it hurts. It hurts so bad.

I don't know if I am angry, sad, or whatever the hell I am feeling. Why does my life have to be this way?!

I throw everything that I find breakable on the floor, grunting and just wanting to break more.

A few seconds later the door swings open, and the guys come in and try to calm me down.

"It's all going to be okay." Harry was trying to hush me, but I couldn't.

I was screaming and kicking. And I felt so bad for them that they have to deal with me.

Why did they save my life anyway? I could have been better off dead honestly.

Now it wasn't only Harry holding me down, it was Liam and Louis too.

Niall was picking up the broken glass and I could see that his eyes were glossy, as if he was on the verge of crying.

When I finally felt a little bit better, all they could hear were my sobs. They carried me onto the small bed.

They were about to leave. All of them. And it just felt like I was going to panic again.

"Guys! Can someone stay with me?"

They all looked at eachother and left Liam.

"I'm sorry I was acting so stupid."

"No, love, it's okay. But can I know why?"

"My dad."

"Your dad what?"

"He called."

"Oh, Jess, you shouldn't have answered!"

"How was I supposed to know that he hates me this much? I thought that he would call to check on how I am doing or at least apologize!"

Liam's head lowered a bit. But that's not what I wanted. For someone to feel terrible.

"Liam, I'm so sorry. I - I don't know what's happening to me."

Before I could finish what I was about to say, Liam bent lower and kissed me.

What?

When I didn't react, he quickly jumped off the bed and said sorry before leaving.

What the hell was that?

After a few minutes Harry came in, and I gave him a weak smile.

"Are you feeling better?"

"I guess."

I hugged him, and he lay down beside me. He kept petting my hair until I fell asleep in his arms.

*Next morning*

Today the boys told me that we were going to eat breakfast at IHOP. I picked out the usual, black jeans, boots, and tight long sleeve. I brushed my hair and put it in a high pony tail. Harry had bought me a couple of snap - backs and sunglasses, so that when we go out the flashes from the paparazzi's cameras won't be too bad.

He kept telling me that the fans were so far very supportive of me being his cousin. He said there was 'little hate received'. I guess that's a good thing.

Liam has been acting awkwardly around me ever since what he did last night. After all, it was really weird.

When we hopped out of the van, I put my sunglasses on and held on to Harry's hand.

The mob was bigger than anything I have ever seen, and it was really irritating. People pushing and pulling.

We were almost halfway through them when I lost Harry. I stayed stiff in my place and all I could hear was screaming girls.

"Harry is she really your cousin?!"

"Why is she dressed like that?"

"EMO GIRL!"

I was about to start crying again when I felt someone grab my arm and pull me through. I was being hugged from the back when we got to the end. When I turned around, Liam smiled at me, so I smiled back. We walked into the restaurant hand in hand and it was very comforting.

We were ordering our food when I caught Louis giving Liam a death glare.

"Lou, are you okay?"

"What? Oh, yeah I'm fine."
