Love is an Act of War

"Luke. Are you fucking serious." I hear Calum say from the other side of the door.

"She knows what she's talking about Calum!" Luke argues.

"How could you just want to LEAVE? After everything that's happened? How far we've come? You just want to throw it all away because she says she THINKS were going to be attacked?" Wow. So nice to treat your girlfriend like that. Really. I can tell even Luke was caught a little off guard.


"Wow. Good job treating your girl like her opinion is trash , Calum." He says, laughing a bit in shock.

"I didn't mean it like that -" He sighs, "How can she be so sure."

"Because she's known these guys since she was a baby perhaps?"

"So have I!" Calum argues.

"Not as well as her." Luke protests. It's obvious Calum is slowly giving up.

"I can't just leave. I'd be leaving basically my whole world." Calum says calmly.

"Fine. The offer still stands." Luke says simply and walks out. I stand up and we walk back into my room. He turns to me, "What now?"

"... WE could still leave.." I say, not making eye contact.

"You mean runaway together?" He chuckles. I roll my eyes and look at him.

"Don't flatter yourself Hemmings, still love Calum." I laugh.

"Okay, okay. Yeah. Let's do it."

"Why are you so sure about me?"

"You saved my life, it's kind of an unwritten rule." He smiles.

"Okay." I smile. Cool I have like, a minion. Except he's like way taller than me. And everyone else on the planet. Is this wrong? Just ditching Calum like this?
