I sit here at the garden where I took Harry and the boys and cry. Since Harry has had his accident I haven't had a moment really to myself and to process it.

"Oh hi" I see Zayn, "Hey" I weakly reply, "You ok?" He sits next to me.
"Yea I'm good, look Zayn" I turn to face him "Your a really great guy who I have a lot in common with but my heart is with someone." I confess.

"Yea I figure I mean your an amazing girl" He says. "Sorry" I apologise
"Don't be."

"Well enjoy." I say and leave him where the place I come to clear all my thoughts.


"Lyla I have an emergency at home, can you please take over my patients. They just need some obs done every hour" Nat says and I happily agree. "Ok good luck at home" I say as she gathers her belongings and leaves.

I flick through my phone at my desk most of the patients are asleep, only there more hours then my shift is over then I have a three day weekend thank god. I play candy crush a bit just to pass time, I look at the time. I get up and do some obs on the patients.

I head into Harry's room, quietly I don't want to disturb him sleep. I hear him moan in his his sleep I lightly chuckle I don't know what his saying. But it takes me back when we were together and I would lay in his arms and talk in his sleep. I smile and carefully take the blood pressure cuff off.

I wheel the machine away and write down his results in his file. "No, No stop, stop." He yells out
"Harry, Harry wake up, it's just a dream." He slowly opens his eyes "Just a dream" He says.
"yea" I whisper, "it seem so real" he says.

"Get some sleep." I say and walk out of his room.

I find an empty room and put my alarm on for an hour and try to get some sleep myself.

I slowly close my eyes but of course my pager goes off, so I return to the main desk.

I see all the nurses surrounded and join the circle. "What's going on"
"Were on lockdown" The nurse in charge says. "Ok so everyone go to a patient and hopefully this will all blow over."
"Wait is this a drill." I ask.

"No" I run straight away to Harry's room

The hospital in lockdown this has never happened ever. I'm a bit frightened I won't lie but who the hell would come in here and cause a lockdown. I obviously chose Harry's room because if god forbid something was to happen I want to be with him.

"Lyla, what are you doing in here." He recognises my presence.
It's a rule not to tell patients about lockdown just in case it''s a false alarm.


"Umm there is just a little situation going on so we have to stay locked in here."
"What kind of situation Lyla?" He questions.
"Umm the hospital is in lockdown but we don't know anything yet. So no need to stress." I say as calm as possible.
"Lockdown are you serious. "
"Yea but he will blow over soon, try and rest," I sit on a chair.



I then see a message on my phone.


Outside now!

I gulp down and debate but I get up anyway. "Lyla you need to stay here." Harry senses me going to the door but I ignore him. I turn the door handle and see a face and close the door again and lock it.


"LYLA OUTSIDE NOW" They yell. I look to Harry with worry.
