Love in a Photograph
Love in a Photograph
Harry's POV:
Us boys are in the taxi on the way to the club, but it doesn't seem right. Hayley she isn't here, I should not be leaving her something was obviously bothering her and I was a dick and decided to leave and enjoy a night out with the boys. "Haz were here" Liam interrupts my thoughts.
'Umm you guys go. I'm too tired." I say
"Ok, mate see ya later." Niall jumps out of the car.
"Um Holmes chapel please" I tell let driver and he drives off.
I stand outside her bedroom door, and can hear sniffles, my baby girl is been crying and all because of me. I knock on the door lightly. I hear her soft little voice and I open the door. Seeing her sitting on her bed with her red puffy eyes- it breaks my heart. "Harry" she smiles. That smile what can I say, it measures me everything is going to be ok. I sit beside her and place my arm around her back and rub it, I know she likes that. She rests her head on my shoulder and the familiar scene of her shampoo invades all my senses. "I'm sorry baby girl" I continue to rub her back." it's ok, Harry really." She looks at me, I see some tears about to all but I am quick enough to wipe them away. I then wrap my arms around her and hug like I am never ever letting her go. I look over her shoulder and see the stereo and I have an perfect idea.
I let her go and stand up and walk up to the stereo. "What are you doing" I see her wipe her eyes, and stands up. I pick up the remote. "Ok I have an idea" I say looking at the stereo, the place where music plays, and we escape to our own little world free from pain, free form reality reality. A place where we embrace each other and hold each other without a care in the word, I guess that's what music can do. It is our own manifest where we can put the music up, and let go of our worries, doubts and fears and let the music guide us, and be silent and still for those few enjoyable moments of a song, no matter what the song is about.
She continues to look at me. "Whatever song comes on the radio next, is our song."
But a song comes up that ruins the moment and definitely won't be ours. Nelly's hot in here is playing and we both start laughing. "Ok no, not that one." I change the station. The perfect song comes on.
"Dance with me pretty girl." I take my hand out that she accepts. We dance with each other in her room. I put one hand on her shoulder and one on her lower back.
Loving can hurt sometimes
But it's the only thing that I know
When it gets hard
You know it can get hard sometimes
It is the only thing that makes us feel alive
I sing softly in her ear as we continue to dance.
We keep this love in a photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Hearts are never broken
Times forever frozen still
I continue to sing to my beautiful girl. I can see a few tears that I hope are happiness fall from her eyes. "Don't cry sweetheart."
"I love you so much Harry." She gets on her toes and kisses me. Her kisses are indescribable, like her lips and mine are only meant for each other.
So you can keep me
Inside the pocket
Of your ripped jeans
Holdin' me closer
'Til our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone
Wait for me to come home
From this day on and forever she will never be alone, even if doesn't want me around for any reason I will still be here.
Loving can heal
Loving can mend your soul
And it's the only thing that I know (know)
I swear it will get easier
Remember that with every piece of ya
And it's the only thing we take with us when we die
Ever since my parents left me I felt like I had nothing to live for, as weird as it sounds but at the end of the day are my parents, and as soon as Hayley came back in my life her love healed me.
We keep this love in this photograph
We made these memories for ourselves
Where our eyes are never closing
Our hearts were never broken
Times forever frozen still
So you can keep me
Inside the pocket
Of your ripped jeans
Holdin' me closer
'Til our eyes meet
You won't ever be alone
And if you hurt me
That's OK, baby, only words bleed
Inside these pages you just hold me
And I won't ever let you go
This song perfectly describes Hayley and I. All the photos she takes, capturing every moment of our lives, and the photograph I keep in my ripped jeans. Wherever I go I always carry it so I can feel her with me. I will never let her go, all those years apart was torture for me, I thought about her every single day and continue with most dangerous question 'what if'. But now I am here with her holding, dancing with her.
Oh you can fit me
Inside the necklace you got when you were 16
Next to your heartbeat
Where I should be
Keep it deep within your soul
Now she has that necklace I gave her, I am next to her always, next to her heartbeat where I should be. It's strange to think what emotions and feelings a single photograph can have. It's like a little time machine taking you back to that exact moment. Experiencing the exact same emotions you did at that time. Our love is definitely in a photograph.
I am aware of the insecurities that she has, I don't know why she has them. I don't pressure her about it though or bring it up. If she wants to feel them, than she should I mean she is human. But I will always remind her that she is beautiful in every single way. "Hayley" I brush a piece of hair behind her ear. She looks at me with her big chocolate brown eyes. "I love you so much, you are the most beautiful, prettiest, little" I spin her around and she giggles. "I have ever met" I continue to remind her. "I know you feel a certain way, but I am here to show you and you love yourself the way I love you." I kiss her deeply, I then pick her up from under her legs and kiss her once again. I look at her and she nods I take her to the bed. "I love you so much Hayley." I whisper as I unbutton her shirt and place small kisses along her perfect stomach.
