Love in a Photograph

Hayley is the only one I know how to be myself around. She is the only one who knows the real me, what I've been through. With her I let my guard down and only for her eyes I show her the real me. I can break down the walls I cover for everyone else because I know she won't judge me.

I pull up in the familiar driveway and see no car in the drive way, I get out of the car anyway and can hear music coming from upstairs. I then decide to sneak into the backyard and the door to come inside the house is open. I can hear the music more now and I smile 'You being with me is paying' so I automatically make my way to Hayley's room. I can see her door is open a little but I open it a bit more, she hasn't noticed with the music so loud.

I see her dancing around the room and smile. She is such a goofball, a goofball I want to be mine. She is singing and dancing along and I just watch her and admire her beauty. I know she has insecurities I don't know why , she is absolutely gorgeous. She is small, short and shy but they are the qualities I actually love about her. She is short and small which means it's easier to carry her, and lay with her and makes her cute. Her shyness makes her, her. It means she isn't too loud and she isn't attention seeker like most girls our age are.


I should probably do something right about now, as I still watch her dance around, I don't want to creep up on her she'll probably have a heart attack. She is near the window so I decide to man up. I walk into her room

"YOU BELONG WITH ME"
She sings out loud as I come behind her.

I spin her around and she has a surprised, shocked look on her face I caresses her left cheek. We look deep into each others eyes, I whisper to her.

"You belong with me".
