Love in a Photograph
Harry's POV
Harry's POV:
I have just left Steph's house, she is my girlfriend for nearly a year. Ever since re connecting with Hayley I can't get her out of my mind. Her sweet fruity scent, her strawberry smelling hair. Her perfect brown eyes that with one look all the pain I have endured washes away. Her familiar scent takes over my car smell. I smile as I drive home. The smell is intoxicating and fills my heart with hope and I am content. I've missed my best friend so much, especially when I am going through so much crap.
Ever since moving to London when I was younger it was true what I told Hayley. I never ever forgotten about her and our memories which now have faded away like a hazy memory. I remember the times but have forgotten the way I felt when I was there with her. I want that feeling back. Being, walking free with the wind against our backs taking us nowhere but as long as we were together nothing mattered. It was always Hayley and I against the world. I want that feeling again with her and no one else.
As I continue to drive 'Wildest Dreams' starts playing and I automatically picture Hayley in the front seat beside me her soft pink lips moving and singing along to the words. I get a flood of memories and all I see is her perfect face. I smile and reminisce on the past day that Hayley and I shared.
As I pull up in my drive way reality of my life hits me. I turn the car off and head in through the garage. "HARRY HONNEYYY YOUR BACKKK" My mum slurs and tries to hug me but trips on her own feet. Yea my mum is alcoholic as if her behaviour wasn't enough evidence.
"Harry where ya been?" My dad asks me but I shrug past him and not bother to acknowledge him. He grabs my arm "WHERE YA BEEN SON?" He shouts well for most people it would be shouting but this is normal for me. "OUT" I yell back and take his arm off me.
"Don't talk to him like that Des." My mum steps in which never ends well.
"SHUT UP ANNE"
"Hey don't speak to her like that." I defend my mother.
My dad takes my hair and yells in my ear "SHUT UP LITTLE BOY, YOU TWO WOULD BE IN THE DUMPSTERS IF IT WASN'T FOR ME." He then pushes me and I fall to the floor, I quickly get back up as I am used to this occurring behaviour.
"DES STOP I HAVE A HEADACHE." Mum yells out.
His anger turns into complete rage he runs over to my mum and pushes her to the ground.
"MUM" I yell and catch her. "GET OUT OF HERE DAD NOW!" I yell to him as he tries to step in front of my mum again but I back him. "OUT OF MY WAY HARRY!" with that I am knocked to the floor.
