"later, not now." She says walking upstairs.

-DEMIS POV-

As I walk upstairs I need to smile. I like to tease him. I walk to my room and grab my phone. Then someone grabs me from behind. I smile knowing it's Luke.
"You're coming to the gig tonight, right?" He asks leaning his head on my shoulder.
"Again a gig?" I whine. I'm kidding of course, I love seeing him on stage.
"it's a special one." He says smiling.
I lifted my eyebrows to him.
"yeah, there are coming people from an record company." He says.
"OMG! So you're going to get signed!!!!" I turn around and jump in his arms.
"that's not sure, only if they like us." He says, catching my legs and putting them around his waist.
"They would be crazy if they didn't like you guys!!!" I say kissing him.
"I'm getting a famous boyfriend." I smirk.

So the rest of the day we spend in the house, cuddling on the couch and watching movies. This time a penguin documentary. Guess who choose.
After that we go to the bar where they have the gig tonight. I see Luke's nervous.
"Luke it's going to be okay, just do what you do at a normal gig." I try to calm him a little.
He sighs.
"You're right. I'm just nervous. We really want them to like us and our music."
"Then just be yourself. now go and get ready." I say, pulling him in the direction backstage.
He throws two backstage passes and walks away.
I walk to Mel and we talk for a little bit, but then she says.
"Demi, look there, the people from the record company."
I look in her direction and see two people, a woman and a guy, somewhere at the back from the bar. They have some papers with them.
Then the guys come on stage and begin to play. We see they're nervous, but you didn't hear at all that they were nervous.

After the show we go back stage and I run to Luke.
"You guys were awesome!!" I say hugging him. Then I hear someone behind me. It are the two people from the record company.
I let go of Luke and stand next to him.
the two people give us hands and say they're names are Jolanda and James. The first thing they ask is who Mel is and who I am. Luke answers
"That's Mel, Michaels girlfriend. And this is Demi, my girlfriend." He says grabbing my hand.
"Okay, well, can we talk to you guys?" They say with a deprecatory look at me and Mel. I dont like them, but I keep my fake smile on my face. I know this is important for them. I kiss Luke and say
"we'll go. See ya later babe. Bye guys! Come on, Mel."
I wink to him before I walk away.

We wait in the bar till they come back. I run to them and ask
"How did it go?"
"We got signed." Ash smirks.
"REALLY?!" I jump in Luke arms and kiss him.
"Yup, they come tomorrow with the papers." Cal says.
"Well, let's celebrate!" Mel screams.

We spent the rest of the night in the bar, celebrating that they got signed.

~the next day~

The guys and Mel are doing some shopping, Mel finally convinced them to find some new looks. I sat on the couch looking at my phone when the doorbell rings. I stand up and walk to the door with Spike in my back. I open the door and James and Jolanda are standing right in front of me.
"Hello, uhh... The guys aren't home yet, but you can come in if you wanted to." I say.
"Yes, thank you. We wanted to talk to you anyways." James says.
I lift my eyebrows while I let them in. We walk to the kitchen and I point on the chairs at dining table. I wait till they sit and say
"Would you like something to drink?"
"Some water, please." Jolanda says.
"Me too." James agrees.
I put two glasses of water in front of them and sit down.
"So where do you guys wanna talk about?" I ask, curiously.
"Well, you're the girlfriend from the lead singer, right?"
I nod my head.
"Well, we think it's better when you break up with him." They say without any emotion.
"WHAT?!" I almost scream.
"The band will have more fans when the fans think they have a chance with them. So we need you to break up with him. Or..."
"YOU ASKING ME IF I CAN BREAK UP WITH MY BOYFRIEND JUST LIKE ITS NOTHING?!?!" But then I hear the or...
"Or what?" I ask.
"Or, something can happen to Luke or the others. You know, are accident sits in a small corner. Maybe to their family. You don't want those people to get hurt, do you?" Jolanda says.
I was totally shocked. I don't say anything, I just can't.
"Oh yeah, no one may know about this, understood?" James says.
I just nod and at that moment Luke and the others come in.
"oh, you're already here." He says, while he walks to me and kisses me on my cheek
"hey babe." He says to me and then asks
"Are you okay? You have no color in your face at all."
"yeah, I'm alright." I try to smile to him.
"guys let's sign the papers." James says, laying the papers and a pen on the table.

After Jolanda and James are gone, we all eat some pizza. Then we go to bed. I hear Luke falling asleep but I couldn't sleep at all.
How the hell am I going to tell him that we need to break up?! And I need to have a damn good reason also. I just can't hurt him. He's my puppy. My everything. I flew across the world to see him. But I need to. If I don't he will get hurt, and I love him too much to get hurt.
Spike lays next to me and looks at me with his worried look. How I know when he's worried, don't ask me that, I just know.
"What am I going to do?" I whisper to him. I'm awake the whole night.
