After my blood turns in to alcohol

Emma’s p.o.v

‘’I need to talk to you’’ Louis startled me by just popping up beside my locker. He was finally back in school from him suspension. ‘’Okay, walk me to class’’ I said before grabbing my books and closing my locker. ‘’I know it’s your weekend to have the car but I really need it’’ he said and put his arm around my shoulders. I wasn’t planning to do anything this weekend other than hanging out with dad but I wanted to see how much he wanted it. ‘’I don’t know Lou, I have plans’’ he let out a groan ‘’I’ll do anything, I’ll clean your room for a week’’ I laughed at his suggestion since my room was always cleaner than his. ‘’You can have the car’’ I smirked, ‘’thank you thank you th..’’ ‘’but’’ I cut him off and he frowned ‘’since I can’t come up with anything now, you owe me’’ he nodded and gave me a kiss on my forehead before walking away. When I turned to walk in the classroom I bumped in to someone. ‘’Oh I’m sorry’’ I said at the same time as a short brunette. ‘’Is this math class with Mr Penjali?’’ she asked ‘’it is, are you new?’’ I smiled at her, she seemed so nervous I felt like I had to be polite. ‘’Yeah, I’m Eleanor’’ she smiled back at me ‘’nice to meet you, Eleanor. I’m Emma. You can sit next to me if you want to’’.


By the time class was over I had invited Eleanor to our table for lunch. It had become a habit to sit at Louis’ table and besides, we kind of have the same friends now. We got inside the cafeteria and picked up our food and then headed for our table. ‘’Everyone, this is Eleanor. She’s new’’ I said and they all said hi to her. ‘’Where’s Lou?’’ I asked Harry when I noticed he wasn’t there ‘’he’s coming now’’ he said and nodded towards the entrance. ‘’Fear no more, I’m back to light up the room’’ Louis sassed and sat down next to me ‘’calm down, sass master from Doncaster’’ Niall laughed. ‘’Lou, this is Eleanor’’ I said and I could see his eyes widen for a second when he looked at her. I know that look, he thought she was hot. They said hi to each other before Niall took over the conversation by talking about some football game.

‘’Did I mention earlier that I love you and I’m grateful for you?’’ Louis said to me making me roll my eyes, ‘’pretty sure you didn’t. But thank you, Louboo’’ I teased and made kissy faces towards him. He put his hand in my face shoving me away from him, he hated that nickname. ‘’Louis’’ I whined and tried to take away his hand, ‘’I’m serious, you’ll ruin my makeup’’ he let go with a laugh. ‘’You’re an idiot’’ I said with a smile, ‘’yes, but you love me’’ he smirked. ‘’So how long have you guys been together?’’ Eleanor asked and the table got silent. ‘’Me and Lou?’’ I asked confused and she nodded. Liam choked on his water, Louis made a disgusting face and Niall started to laugh. What Katie did I don’t know because I don’t care about her. ‘’Well, I would say we’ve known each other since 1994, I reckon’’ Louis said with a smirk, I rolled my eyes because he was about to make fun of this poor girl. ‘’Oh that’s long, you must know each other pretty well then’’ she said and took a sip of her water. ‘’Oh so well’’ Louis said and put his arm around me ‘’okay enough’’ I shrugged him off ‘’Louis is my brother’’ I said and this poor girl’s face when everyone started laughing. ‘’She couldn’t know you guys, stop’’ I said and smiled towards Eleanor, ‘’sorry about that’’ she let out a laugh. ''It's fine. So where you from, Eleanor?'' Louis asked, ''You can call me El. I'm from here actually, I just switched schools'' Eleanor smiled. ''Why did you change schools, El?'' Louis was really interested in this girl, it made me sick. ''There were some problems at my old school, nothing interesting'' Louis nodded, careful with being too nosy. The bell rang and lunch was over and we all went to our separated classes.




It was Saturday night and I was stuck at home, bored as hell. After spending the day at my dad's house I wanted, no needed to get out of my house. Louis had the car so I couldn't go for a drive either. I wanted to call Harry, but that might be weird. Besides, he's probably with Louis. But I guess it doesn't hurt to ask. I was too scared to call him though, so I decided to text him.

To: Harry
Hey, I have no idea why I'm texting u but I'm so bored. Never mind ur probably with Lou. Lol, see u in school Monday

Why did I just send that? How can I be so awkward? Fuck. Before I had time to stress out about it my phone made a noise. A new message from Harry.

From: Harry
I'm at home :) do you wanna hang out?

To: Harry
Only if you want to :)

From: Harry:
I'll pick you up in five!

Wow. That was easy. This was the first time we would hang out by choice. The other times we just happened to be in the same place. I put on some clothes but didn't bother doing my makeup. After that I went outside my house just in time to see Harry driving down the street. ''Hey'' we said at the same time when I jumped in the car. ''So what are we gonna do?'' I asked and put my seat belt on. ''I don't know. Have you eaten?'' he asked, ''yeah, I ate at my dad's but we can go for milkshakes or something?'' ''to McDonald's then'' Harry chuckled.

We were sat in a booth in McDonald's drinking our milkshakes. ''How did it go at your dad's today?'' Harry asked, ''It went okay, I mean I have to learn how to be there'' I shrugged. ''Why? You don't have to, do you?''
''Louis said he might wanna live with dad''
''You have a choice too''
''I know, but I'm not gonna live without Lou. Can't lose him too''
''I understand. But just so you know, you won't lose him because you live in diferent homes''
I nodded, it was true. But that doesn't mean it didn't scare me. ''So are your family spending Christmas in town?'' I asked changing the subject. ''No, we're celebrating at my cousin's. How about you?''
''I have no idea. This is the first Christmas with my mum and dad not being together, I don't have a clue were or with who we're celebrating''.
We were quiet for a moment, just drinking our milkshakes. ''Thanks for hanging out with me, by the way. I was about to die from boredom at home'' I let out a laugh and he smiled at me, ''don't thank me, we're friends. We can hang out whenever. I like spending time with you'' he said and I looked down on my milkshake. Trying to hide the pink colors taking form on my cheeks.

A while later we headed out to Harry's car. It was late and I was kind of tired so he was just going to drive me home. We jumped in the car, ''I need to tell you som...'' Harry began but stopped his sentence when my phone started ringing. ‘’Sorry, I’m just gonna take this it’s blocked number’’ I excused myself with a smile to Harry.
‘’Hello? this is she. What? Are you serious? Uhm y-yyes, I’ll be right there’’ I hung up and felt my bottom lip start shaking. ‘’Emma what’s going on?’’ Harry asked with a concerned voice ‘’Lou’s been in a car accident’’ I said as I felt the first tear stream down my face without asking questions he embraced me for a moment. ‘’Let’s go’’ he then said and started his car. I hadn’t stopped crying the whole ride over to the hospital even though Harry had been rubbing my arm from time to time. ‘’Can you come with me? I don’t wanna be alone’’ I said with a raspy voice, ‘’of course’’.


''Hi, you called about my brother'' I said to the lady by the front desk at the emergency room. ''Yes, before you can see him we need you to answer a few questions. First of all I need you to tell me his full name. We couldn't find an ID on him and his phone only held your number'' the lady said. ''I...uhm'' I couldn't focus, I only wanted to know if he was going to be alright. ''Can you just tell me if he's okay?'' I whispered. ‘’He broke a few ribs because of the impact’’ the doctor began, I grabbed Harry’s hand without thinking about it. It somehow made me calmer. ‘’He hasn't woken up yet, which he should have. We have scheduled a head Xray if he doesn't wake up within the hour. Now, you need to answer my questions’’ she smiled politely at me and I began to shake as I took in her words. He should have woken up by now, but he hadn't. ''Can she see him first? She just need to see for herself he's alive'' Harry answered in my place. The lady muttered something about us being difficult but led us to the room Louis was in. We followed her through the halls of the hospital before she stopped at a door and opened it. ‘’I’ll leave you alone’’ she said before walking away.

We walked in and I gasped when I saw Louis laying there in a hospital bed, I turned and walked right in to Harry’s arms. He wrapped his arms around me as I started to sob on his chest. ‘’Emma, I'm sure he’s gonna be okay’’ Harry said with a soft voice, I pulled back a bit ‘'I’m scared....he could have died’’ I whispered. Harry pulled me back in the hug and I stood for awhile just letting the tears out. ''I'll go out and talk to the nurse, you can stay here with Lou'' Harry said and let me go. ''Okay?'' he asked cupping my face with his hand and stroked away my tears with his thumbs. I nodded and gave him a forced smile. Harry walked out and I sat down on the chair next to Louis' bed.

Harry's p.o.v

''His name is Louis Tomlinson. I only know his mum's name, Jay...or Johannah I think her real name is'' I said to the nurse. ''Can you write down an address and a number to his mum?'' the nurse asked and I did as I was told. ''Thank you, that's all'' she said and walked away. I took my phone up from my pocket to text my mum. It was a little over 11pm and she would probably be worried. I was right. She had blown up my phone with texts and missed calls so I quickly dialed her number. ''Harold where are you? You know you're supposed to call if you're out this late on weekends'' she said angrily ''hi mum, uh, Lou's been in a car accident'' I blinked away the tears that had formed in my eyes. ''Oh my god, is he okay? Were you with him? Are you okay?'' ''I wasn't with him, I'm fine. I don't know about him though. I'm at the hospital and the doctor said he should be awake by now, but he isn't'' ''I'm sure he will wake up soon, darling. Do you want me to come?'' ''no it's fine, I'll call when I leave''. I hung up and headed back to the room Louis and Emma was in. I opened the door and saw Emma sitting in a chair holding Louis' hand. She hadn't noticed me yet. ''Louis'' she whispered, ''if you die I'll kill myself''.

Hope you liked this chapter :) Also in the end of the last chapter there's some p.o.v mistakes, I wrote it at 2am and got a little confused. This site doesn't allow me to edit that chapter, I have no idea why but I will try to edit it as soon as I can :)
