Nancy's P.O.V

I don't think I will be able to sleep as I am very excited for tomorrow. Tomorrow is my first day of college. I hope I will make some good friends. And also I am very excited to start a new relation for the first time in my life. You may be thinking what the heck did I do in my high school then? But I didn't have any boyfriend till now. I was very busy in studies that I didn't even have my first kiss till now. I missed a lot of things. So I want to experience all these things in my college life.
I finished writing my diary.....nothing special just some usual things.. I opened my cupboard took my night dress. I was about to sit in front of the computer when my brother knocked on the door. I told him to get in. He informed that the dinner was ready and my mom asked me to come down. After a while, I opened the door and went down to the dining room to see that my mom and my brother, Adam have already started to have dinner. I sat on a chair and started eating too. Then I looked around for my dad who was nowhere to be found. I asked my mom and she replied,
"He will be late"
"Again?" I asked, a little bit irritated, "He never comes home early and always will be drunk like hell!" I complained
"That's him," my brother remarked with an annoyance in his tone and I nodded my head
"Go to bed early today and don't sit in front of the laptop all night you know tomorrow is your first day of college right?" my mom said changing the subject.
"Come on mom! I am not a small kid I know what to do" I said
"Yeah like being late to school and from tomorrow college," said Adam
"At least I am better than you" I yelled
"Stop it both of you" Yelled my mom
"Yeah now go to bed," Adam said
"I know what to do," I said sticking out my tongue towards him
"STOP IT" mom yelled at me
"Mom he started it" I complained
"Nancy go to bed" my mom demanded
"Sorry mom" I apologized
I then went back to my room. My brother really pisses me off. But after all, he is my brother after all and I really love him. I went to my bathroom and brushed my teeth. After that, I laid on my bed. I am very much excited for tomorrow. I wish I could sleep, but I won't be able to due to the excitement. But after some time I did fall asleep.
