Louis
I walked into Lucian's room as soon as I saw Sky leaving in her workout clothes and they covered up a bit more than the last time I saw her working out, to be honest I was totally distracted when I saw her sweating and I forgot what I wanted to say but ended up fighting with her and kissing her, so that was a failure. "Lucian I got an idea but you are not going to like it." I just walked in and stopped when I saw that Lucian was really busy with ahum his boyfriend. I staggered back and walked the opposite direction. Once I got downstairs I sat down on the couch in the living room and turned on the TV, not long after Lucian came running down, tugging his shirt in his shorts. You had to see the funny side of this. "Sorry it a took a bit longer then I thought it would." He explained but I had already put my hands over my ears, there was no way I wanted to hear what he had been doing, as I already had seen it first hand.
"You don't have to apologize but can we talk business now?" he nodded and took a seat on the opposite chair. 'What do you want to do?" I explained him what I was planning and I noticed the more I told him the angrier he became. "He really filmed her, did she tell you that?" I shook my head. "No she only told me what he had done to her, you know about the raping part, she didn't tell me that he filmed her."
Lucian got up and started to pace back and forth. "How do you know that he has filmed her then?" I rolled my eyes. "You know the reason why she let herself get beaten up right?" he nodded "Well I didn't go with Lindsey to screw her but merely to get some information out of her and boy she gave me a handful. She told me everything, she told me about the 5 guys that raped her and how she filmed it al for Mike, the only reason that I didn't kill her right there, was because I was high on drugs." I ended ashamed of myself.
"Shit! We have to call the cops, are they still here?" I shook my head because I did hear Sky yell at Lindsey to leave or she would call the cops on them for possessing drugs. "No they are probably back home by now." Lucian stopped pacing thank god because he was making me dizzy and it gave me a headache. "But why do you need me? You can make the call yourself right?" he was right about that but why would a cop believe me, I mean Mike was probably a rich bastard, with a clean sheet. There was no way a cop would believe just one person. "This only works when they have more calls about the same thing and that's why I need you. We call from different phones." He started pacing again. "Wouldn't it be weird if they see that the call is coming from France though?" and that was a valid question but then again isn't it weird if the call came from another country and wouldn't it raise suspicions that something wasn't adding up.
"I think that could work in our advantage to be honest." I told him 'Okay say it does, what if Sky finds out, what do we do then?" I hadn't thought of that but we had to tell her the truth right. "We just have to tell her the truth and face consequences" I shrugged, it was scarier to admit that but it was the only way but for now she didn't need to know about this plan because it could al backfire.
"Alright, let's do it, who makes the first call?" I already had my phone out. "How much time do we have before she gets back?" Lucian took a look at the clock and shrugged. "I think we have at least 2 more hours." God for how long did she train. I dialled the police station of Oxnard, Cali and explained why I was calling. They didn't sound surprised or even biased, they even thanked me for letting them know. After 10 minutes I hung up the phone, not realizing I had talked to Sky's dad. "It's your turn." I sat down again and watched Lucian do the same thing but he stopped pacing when the officer told him his name. "Uncle? Shit I didn't know you were a cop.' He stared at me totally in shock, he was mirroring my shock, did I really talked to Sky's dad, while telling him what Mike had done to his daughter, shit!
"That's exactly why I'm calling you, yes. The boy you talked to is Sky's boyfriend and she told him what had happened and I just wanted to make sure that it was treated the way it should. I know for certain that Mike raped her and videotaped it. Her friend Lindsey is also in it, it was a payback for making him wait for so long, that's what she told us anyway."
After 30 minutes Lucian finally hung up the phone. "Holy fuck, how couldn't you know that her dad was a cop? Doesn't Marie tell you anything about her brother?" I got up and shook him '
"You know he is going to call her now right?" I was panicking. I know I shouldn't treat him like this and I was happy when he pushed me away. "Chill man, He promised to not tell her but he is going to file a report and he is going to investigate his house and Lindsey's house." I was pacing and biting my nails.
"But it's his daughter, there is no way he is going to keep his mouth shut." Lucian stopped me. 'Would you stop pacing and just sit down for a minute, it will be okay, we just have to keep track on the American news, especially the local news.' He was right, me being anxious didn't solve anything. 'So what now?' I asked Lucian as he was the one who talked to Sky's dad. "He said he was going to take care of it and that as soon as he had the asshole, he would come down here to talk to Sky.'
This only meant one thing, I had to tell Sky what we did before her dad did and on top of that, I had to explain why Lucian had called me her boyfriend. "Lucian, why did you tell him, I was her boyfriend? You could've just said that I was a friend." He shook his head with a smile on his face. "You are her boyfriend, that's how I see you." He patted me on the back. "I do have to leave right now but I will call as soon as I know more okay!' I nodded and walked to my car. I needed to talk to her and this wasn't going be a nice talk. I expected a lot of screaming on her part. I sighed before I got out of the car. I know she would run past this part of the beach and hopefully she did want to talk to me. I waited and saw Jamie running passed me but he stopped and turned around when he noticed me. "You are Louis right?" I nodded and got a smile in return. "She is right, you are hot, why are you here?" My mouth had dropped when he said that. I had never expected him to say something like that. "I need to talk to Sky because something has happened and it's kind of my fault." I confessed and that's when he got into my face. "If you hurt her again, I will kill you, you hear me. The only reason she wanted to fight me was because she was hurt by your actions. That girl loves you for some odd reason, so you better not break her heart again." He was actually holding me up a bit on my shirt.
"Chill, I'm not here to hurt her." I pushed him away when I spotted Sky, she was running even faster then yesterday, how was that even possible? Jamie ran off, giving me some privacy to talk to her. She skidded to a halt when she saw me. "Louis, again, what's wrong now?" I took a deep breath but that was a mistake because I could smell her scent and it was just as sweet as it was the previous days. "I need to talk to you because I did something, that you are not going to like." She followed me to a bench and looked at me with a worried expression.
"What did you do?" I glanced at her and kissed her first because this could be the last time I was able to do that. "I uhm, wanted to hurt Mike and Lucian and I came up with an idea, which would definitely send him to jail for a while." Her expression became a bit angry but I was prepared for that. "The thing is, we did this by calling the cops on him." That triggered something in her as her eyes went wide in shock. "You didn't" she whispered. "We did but if we had known that your father was a cop, we would've never done it." She got up, her face as white as a sheet and also a bit green. "You two told my dad, what happened?" She was surprisingly calm, which probably wasn't a good thing. "We uhm did but he said he was going to take care of it right away." She snapped her head into my direction.
"Do you know what you've done? He is going to kill Mike!" she was finally raising her voice but I couldn't look at her anymore so I kept looking at my hands. "I should have never told you what happened, this is what I get for trusting people. I have to go home, stop him from killing Mike." She took off without any warning but this time I was prepared as I went after her. "Sky, wait!" she didn't of course. I had to get her, it was the only way. I ran as fast as I could and before I knew I had her arm and yanked her back. "Sky listen to me, just call him and talk to him." I handed her my phone, she eyed it and me but eventually she took the phone and called her father. I directed her back to the bench. "Hi dad, yeah I'm fine." She was silent for a second. I didn't want to intrude so I got up but before I could walk away, she grabbed my arm. I sat down again. "I know dad, I'm so sorry for not telling you but I just felt so ashamed of what happened." She was crying by now so I put my arms around her and just hold her whilst she talked to her father.
"That time I went to the hospital, was because I lost the baby but I couldn't talk about it. No one knew except for the doctor. No they never did stop bullying me after that night and Mike always reminded me about it. He even threatened me to put everything online. I know dad but please promise me you won't do anything stupid." She was handling this really well and I couldn't be more proud of her for doing this. "I'm doing fine dad, I have great friends here to support me." She was silent for a second and she took a quick glance at me and I immediately knew what her dad told her, shit I completely forgot about that part. "My boyfriend huh, yeah he is also supporting me through all of this, yeah he is something else, that's for sure." I know I must've been really red by now. I was going to kill Lucian for this.
"Alright dad, I will see you at the end of summer, love you." She hung up and gave me the phone back.
"Thank you, boyfriend."
