Summer Sky | L.T.

The next day I was woken up by a text from Jamie telling me where I would meet him. I couldn't be happier about that. I quickly got dressed into work out shorts and a crop top with my sports bra under it. I put my hair into a high ponytail and put a towel, clean clothes, sunscreen and water into a bag before leaving the house. I did stick a note on the fridge door, telling my aunt that I would be spending the day at the beach.

After 30 minutes I walked onto a private beach. It was actually quite funny that I had to show security that I was here on an invite. Jamie was already stretching, which gave me the time to check him out, which I did. 'Bonjour Jamie' I said rather loud, he was startled when I did that. 'God Sky, you could have given me a heart attack.' That made me giggle. 'Damn look at your face, I'm so sorry for that.' I shrugged 'It's fine, it doesn't hurt that much and to be honest I asked for it, didn't I?'

He nodded at that whilst hugging me. 'Yes you did, you stupid girl.' He released me and I couldn't help but stare. 'Sky I want you to know that I am Gay, so before you try anything like kissing me, it will not work.' What he didn't know was that I already kind of knew this. 'That's fine by me. So what are we doing today?' I had put down my bag and sat down on the sand. 'We are going to train how to stop fists and kicks and we are going to run for 6 miles.' He said with a mischievous smile on his face. I must have been staring at him like he was crazy as he started laughing. 'You wanted to intensify your training, this is me doing just that.'

He did have a point of course but 6 miles? 'I'm all for intensify the training but 6 miles?' he nodded as he got into position. I quickly got up and stood opposite from him. The first hour I was only blocking his punches and kicks and it was exhausting. The second hours I was punching and kicking his pads, the sun was now high in the sky and god it was so warm. I even had pulled of my crop top as it was sticking to my body from sweating so much. 'Jamie, we have to stop. I need water.' Next thing I know he lifts me up and started to run into the ocean, he actually dropped me in the ocean.

I shot up laughing so hard. 'I know I said I needed water but I meant a bottle of water, not an ocean full of water.' I let myself float on the water, whilst Jamie was swimming circles around me. 'I know but you looked so hot, that I couldn't resist it.' He said cheekily, I splashed him. 'Thank you because I really needed this.' He shrugged and was walking to the shore again. 'Let's drink something and continue our training, shall we?'

I followed him and sat down on the towel. The sun made sure I was dry in no time and I chucked down a bottle of water within seconds. We sat there small talking about my new piercing and tattoos. I liked to talk this way because it really took my mind from everything that was happening right now. 'We should start running, did you bring some music?' he asked me and I actually did bring my iPhone. 'Yes I did but why do I need it?' he smiled and grabbed his own. 'Because I will be faster than you and music really helps you run a bit faster.' He explained.

'Let's do this.' He put a belt around my waist, to hold my water and he also put my Iphone in there. I had already turned on Spotify. I put in the earplugs and waited for him to get ready. 'I will see you back here in one hour.' That's when he took off. I followed him and kept a steady pace. This was more difficult then I had expected, within minutes I was already dripping of sweat and I felt a slight burn on my legs, as the sun was really hot. I had to stop twice but didn't give up and eventually I got use to the burning feeling in my legs.

After a hour I arrived back at the beach, finding Jamie enjoying the sun whilst waiting for me. He had heard me coming. He turned around to smile at me but burst out in laughter when he spotted me lying face down on my towel. I was completely done for today. Every muscle was hurting in my body not to mention the sweat that was forever engraved on my skin. 'I'm guessing you are done with training for today.' He said still laughing. 'Yeah you keep laughing asshat but I did it.' He pulled me up but my legs were buckling so he had to help me stand, which made me giggle as well. 'You know, I think I'm ready to go home again.' He grabbed our stuff and walked me to my car. I was leaning against the door, while he was putting my stuff in the trunk.

'I had fun today, what about tomorrow, you're up for another round.' He was crazy right? 'You're serious?' he nodded. 'Sure, same time?' I asked him. 'Cool, see you tomorrow Sky.' He came a bit closer and kissed me on the cheek, which made me smile. I drove home and as I walked towards the room with my music on I didn't see the person who walked around the corner. I smacked into him hard. 'Damn Sky, why are you so sweaty?' I could've know, that Louis wasn't going to leave me alone. 'I have been training.' I said whilst passing him. I was happy to see that my door was fixed. I opened it and closed it after I got in. I had put down the bag and was stripping down when the door opened again.
'Sky, do you have a sec...?' he stopped talking when he noticed that I was almost naked in front of him and not to mention the fact that my sweat was sticking to my skin.

He closed his eyes and I saw him swallow slowly, as if he had to control himself. I quickly grabbed the dress I was wearing yesterday and put it on 'You can open your eyes but I don't have a lot of time, so please hurry.' He opened his eyes and saw that the blue colour in his eyes was much darker now.

'Yeah, I was wondering if you'd like to go to a meeting for drugs addicts with me?' Wait what? An drugs meeting? Since when was he attending that? 'What kind of meeting is that?' he handed me the piece of paper that he was holding. I studied it and was surprised that is was a support group. 'You want me to come with you, why?' He shrugged 'Thanks to you, I'm trying to better my life, so I thought it would only be suitable to ask you to come with me.' I should've said no right but I couldn't turn him down, not now he was looking for help.

'Okay, can I shower first?' he nodded and took a seat in one of my chairs. I quickly showered and after 15 minutes I had done my hair, make-up and got dressed in a soft pink dress. I walked out of the bathroom finding him sleeping in that same chair. I studied him carefully not wanting him to wake up and caught me staring at him because that would be really embarrassing. He was actually looking better today, he was tanned and his muscles were standing out more, you could see he had been training and I really liked his tattoos. How can someone like him be so messed up?

I really had to wake him up but he was looking so sweet. I had to shake these mixed feelings. 'Louis, wake up, we have to go.' I shook him gently. He opened his eyes and was surprised by the deep blue/greenish colour. I always thought his eyes were only really blue, but he had also a bit of green in them. I was way too close so I quickly took a step back. 'Sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep' He got up and I couldn't help but stare. I didn't see it when I smacked into him earlier but he had a tight shirt and good looking shorts on, the way he was looking made my mouth water. Damn it I had to get my act together, what was wrong with me, for crying out loud.

'Shall we go?' He asked with a smirk on his face. He just had caught me staring, damn it. 'Yes let's go.' I followed him to his car at an appropriate distant. When we arrived at the hospital it made me think back at that night when I had found him. It made me stop for a second, Louis noticed this and stopped as well. 'I never did apologize properly for the way I acted right?' I shook my head and shrugged. 'It's in the past, so whatever.' I walked passed him and looked for a sign that said psychic ward or something like that. 'It's this way, Sky' He said way to close to my ear. I jumped a bit when he did that earning a chuckle from him.

'Can you please give me some space?' I started walking in the direction he had just pointed. I heard him following me, he stopped me in front of a room. This wasn't a meeting, yeah it was a meeting but not a group meeting. 'Louis, I thought you said it was a group meeting, like AA?' he shook his head and it hit me that this was a trap. 'Are you kidding me, you are really doing this?' I was pissed at him for doing this to me, as I didn't want to talk to a fucking shrink. 'You need to talk about what happened to you and this is the only way that was going to happen.' I started to walk away but Louis grabbed my arm and yanked me back. 'Sky, it isn't normal to let yourself get beaten up because you are hurt or afraid.' I pushed him away but he didn't let me go, he started to pull me into that room.

'I wont leave you and I promised you, that I would help you fight your demons, consider this me helping you.' He made me sit down in on of the chairs, not long after, the shrink herself was closing the door. I had crossed my arms and refused to look at her. 'Hello Sky, my name is Annabel.' Louis nudged me, I sighed and turned my face to face her. I gave her a nod, she quickly looked over at Louis, who was encouraging her to keep talking to me. 'Do you know why you are here?' Wait wasn't that her job, to tell me why I was here.

'Don't know, why don't you tell me or better ask Louis as he is the one who forced me into this.' I know I was being so damn rude but I couldn't help it. She did turn to Louis 'Why is she here Louis?' he had a faint smile on his face 'She is here because she can't get passed things that have happened to her, she is destructive when she is hurt but she doesn't want to admit that.' I snorted when he said that, which made them both look at me again. 'Right as if you are dealing with your shit in a proper way, I mean you get high everytime it gets hard. So who are you to judge me in the first place.' She still had that smile as if he had me right were he wanted.

'She also get's defensive, when you confront her.' I couldn't help but stare at him with hostile feelings. 'Sky, What happened to you?' I didn't look at her but still decided to tell her because how faster we went through this, the faster I could leave this damn room. 'I was raped a few months ago by a few guys and that same guy made sure my life was a living hell after that, now he has followed me here to make my life even a bigger hell and the one person I thought I could lean on, decided to stab me in the freaking back and now he just don't want to leave me alone.'

I know she was not fazed at all by my little outburst, as she was smiling at me, this pissed me off even more. How could she be so calm and sit there, while my heart was racing. 'How did you deal with the pain you went through?' I didn't expected that question. 'I uhm, took anti depression.' I wasn't planning on telling her I had cut myself several times but she saw right through me. 'Are you sure that's the only thing you did?' I started nodding but eventually I shook my head. 'No it wasn't, I uhm.' I looked over at Louis who had a neutral look on his face. I had to take a deep breath before I told her. 'I have cut myself a few times.' I whispered. I saw Louis nod his head slightly as if he had expected this. 'How did that made you feel Sky?' She asked me, still smiling at me. 'It made the pain go away, so it made me feel good I guess.' I was now staring at my hands and I wasn't surprised when Louis put his hands over mine. "Louis have told me that your aunt has thrown away your anti-depression pills, is this true?' I nodded, she wrote it down on her ipad. 'Can you tell me what happened two days ago?' I scraped my throat before I told her.

'Mr. Tomlinson asked me if I knew where Louis was, so after I had seen him with Lindsey, I had an idea where I might find him. You see Mike had shown up in a nearby town and I knew he had something to do with it, so I called him and seduced him in telling me where he was staying and when I arrived there, he led me into his bedroom and started to kiss me and touch me under my dress, that's when I hit him with a lamp, which made him pass out. I immediately went to look for Louis and when I found him he was in his boxers on the floor, doing coke. That was not all as there were four girls having a bit too much fun with each other. I took him home and that's about it.' I didn't look at Louis but I know he was shocked that it went so far.

'Did you feel hurt by Louis' actions?' I nodded 'But that wasn't the thing that hurt the most, it was everything, my past, the way Mike acted like nothing had happened and Lindsey showing up and stealing the guy I like again.' She was still writing in her ipad. 'What did you do when you got home because you didn't have anti-depression.' I pointed at my face. 'Do I really have to explain this because I think it's pretty obvious, I went into the boxing ring and fought my trainer and believe me he was doing his best to convince me to stop but I didn't want to, as I needed the pain to go away and it did, so I really fine now.' Louis had his eyes closed when he heard that and I almost comforted him.

'Sky, I think you have a serious problem and you do need help, so I want you to come in every week to talk to me about it. I can't give you medication but you have to stop hurting yourself like that because someday you will end up dead.' I shrugged. 'I don't really care what happens to me right now.' That made Louis jump up from his chair and he actually kicked a bookcase. 'God damnit Sky, it's not only about you, what about the people around you?' he yelled at me, I just stared at him. 'Yeah just sit there like you're a stupid airhead.' He was really grossing a line.

'How about you huh, do you like the fact that people that love you are worried about you every god damn night, just because they don't know if you are still alive in the freaking morning?! Are you proud of the fact that you need drugs in your system just to shut out the guilt you have been feeling over that girl that almost killed herself!' I know I was below the belt with that one but I couldn't take it back now. Louis grabbed his keys and stormed out, leaving me here, with my shrink. 'Sky, I can't help you with him but I really like to help you with dealing, what do you say?' I nodded and she gave me a document. 'Just fill this form and return it next week, around the same time, is that okay, with you?' She was really polite not fazed the slightest even though she just witnessed Louis and me yelling at each other.

'That's fine, thank you.' I walked out of the door and I was not surprised that Louis had left me again.
