Summer Sky | L.T.

Mike was standing behind me and he actually scared me and I felt the panic attack emerging. "Count to ten Sky" I muttered under my breath and it really helped because it made me focus and the panic attack disappeared before it could hit the surface. I slowly turned around to face Mike. "Aren't you happy to see me" he pulled me out of my chair and hugged me. I hissed when he put his hand on one of my tattoos.

"Answer me Sky." He demanded icily and I didn't like it one bit. "What are you doing here Mike?!" I slightly raised my voice, he on the other hand didn't expect me to be like this but there was no way in hell that I could let him get to me. "Mind your tone with me princess" he warned me whilst grabbing my chin really tight and before I could register what was happening he had put his lips on mine. I didn't kiss him back though as I kept my lips closed, there was no way that I would kiss him back not if he was the last person on the planet, I'd rather died. "My name is Sky and not princess, Mike." I said sounding really pissed off whilst pushing him away from me.

"You know I don't like the way you are treating me. I came here just for you because I missed you and now you are treating me this badly. You didn't forget me did you?" he still had my arm in his grasp. "Is everything okay?" My aunt asked me when she came back. Mike released my arm quickly as he turned on his charming looks. "Hello, you must be Sky's aunt. I'm Mike her boyfriend." My mouth dropped when he said that and I couldn't help but narrow my eyes at him. "Marie, he isn't my boyfriend but he is my ex-boyfriend and I think I'm ready to go now." Marie looked into my eyes and what she saw there made her ask for the bill immediately but she had to pay it inside.

Mike took this opportunity to touch me again. He caressed my face gently and I tried to pull away but he had me imprisoned. "You know how much I want you right now because you defying me is pretty hot and you know what princess, I will have you again" He quickly gave me a kiss on my forehead before disappearing again. I almost vomited right there and then, I was upset to say the least and not because I was afraid but because he had touched me and I couldn't do a thing about it.

"Let's go home cheri." We walked to the car but I couldn't help to look behind us, just to make sure that Mike wasn't following us but with my bad luck he did, even if I didn't see him. We got out of the car when we arrived home, it was a cloudy day and not as hot as it was the previous days and to be honest that was absolutely fine with me because this meant I didn't have to go out. I walked into my room with all my bags, which were heavy as fuck.

"Did you rob a whole shopping centre or something?" I jumped as I heard Louis voice because with everything going on I had completely forgotten about him. I let the bags fall on the ground. "God Louis, are you still here?" I know I sounded fucking rude but I really didn't want him around me at the moment. "To be honest Sky, I just woke up like 15 minutes ago" I shook my head whilst picking up the clothes from my floor, as they had fallen out of the bags.

"'You want to tell me why you got pissed in the first place?" I heard him sigh and take a seat in one of my chairs. "I don't know why I did it, I think it's a side effect from quitting drugs." That was such a stupid excuse, I mean only an addict could think of something like that.

"Louis, I really don't want to be rude but you know that's a crap excuse right? It also makes no sense to trade one addiction for another one." I know I was sounding like a bitch but I couldn't help it, I just didn't have the patience for this today.

"You look lovely by the way, your new hair suits you." I know he was trying to change the subject and for some reason I let him. "Thank you, I really need to put these away, so could you please just go because you are really distracting me." I tried to sound as nice as possible. "Yeah, right I will leave." He sounded a bit hurt but I would deal with that later.

"I was just wondering, are you still mine?" I looked up and was a bit startled that he was so close. "I thought you were joking about that" I saw the hurt change into anger, he was clenching his fists and walked out of my room without saying a word. I really felt bad for that move but with Mike being here and threating me, this was for the best. I stopped picking up my clothes and just sat there staring at the wall. I know what I wanted to do but I also know that I promised myself to never do that again.

I let myself fall on my back whilst sighing deeply. How the hell did I end up in this mess? "Just so you know, I think you are really stupid." I turned my head and saw Lucian standing in my doorway. He was the last person I wanted to see today but I guess people had to keep bothering me today. "What do you want Lucian?" he walked to where I was lying and took a seat next to me. "Why would you let Louis walk away, you know he is head over heels for you." Since when is he the expert on relationships and stuff, damn.

"You know if you like him so much, why don't you date him then?" Man I sounded snarky but I couldn't help it. I really needed to get my stuff together and there was just one way to do that. "Lucian, I think I need your help." I sighed because this was not me, I wasn't this rude.

"What do you need?" he asked really curious, as I actually never asked him anything, since the moment I walked into this house. I pretty much tried to avoid him but only because he was so damn happy all the freaking time. "I want to learn how to defend myself, is there a gym in the neighborhood?" he jumped up and pulled me with him, making me stumble.

"Of course there is, what do you want to do? We have boxing lessons, normal gym stuff, we even have Zumba or Krav mega, just pick one." He said much to enthusiastic. "What is Krav mega for crying out loud?" I mean I had heard of Zumba but I found it a bit mellow when I saw it on the tv.

"Krav mega is a self defending sport and it is really hard" I don't mind if it was hard, if it teaches me how to self defend, then count me in. "Alright I'm down for Krav mega and I think I also want to box." Lucian was almost jumping up and down. 'Let's get you signed up right now.' He pulled me with him but I really had to stop him. "Luce, can I first put on some work-out clothes?' he nodded and left me alone to get his own stuff.

I was happy that I had packed some workout stuff like run shorts and tops. I even had brought my Nikes, which did come in handy now. This was the day that I was going to learn to stand up for myself, without being scared of what might happen when I would run into Mike again, which was inevitable. After I had put on my stuff, I quickly put my new hair into a bun on top of my head and I headed to Lucian's room. "Are you ready to go?" I asked through the door. "Yeah I will be down in 2 minutes.' It did make me suspicious because normally he would let me into his room immediately but I just didn't want to sound like his mom, so I went downstairs.

"Alright let's do this" Lucian said when he finally came downstairs. 'Took you long enough and just so you know, you've got your shirt is the wrong way out." I couldn't help but giggle because he probably had been doing something really dirty but the question was with whom he was doing that. He pulled of his shirt and put it the on the right way. "Let's go you dirty animal." I slapped him lightly on his arm whilst laughing at his red head.

We drove into town and he directed me to the gym. I was happy to see it wasn't that expensive not that I was short on money as my family didn't let me spend my money but this was something I did want to pay myself. We walked through the door and was happy to see that it all looked really clean. "Good afternoon, how can I help you?" I was surprised that they immediately spoke English. "Uhm, yes I would like to subscribe to your gym, for the summer."

He grabbed a few documents and put them on the counter top. "What would you like to do?" I looked at Lucian but he was way to busy with checking out the dudes without their shirts. That boy has a serious case of the hormones, that's for sure. "I was thinking about boxing lessons and Krav mega." He grabbed the documents that I needed to sign for those lessons and put it under my nose while handing me a pen. "You need to sign these documents and if you want you can start immediately with the boxing lessons, as we have a clear schedule right now." I quickly signed the documents and nodded. "Cool, sure. Where do I have to go? I don't have any boxing gloves though." I told him.

"That's fine, we have a few at the gym but it is recommendable to get your own set." I told him I would get them tomorrow, whilst he lead me to the boxing room. Everywhere were boxing bags and in the middle of the room was a ring, were two people were fighting each other. "Yo Jamie, I've got someone for you." The guy who turned looked hot, this could be fun. "Hi I'm Sky" I stretched out my hand to shake his but he turned my hand and kissed the top of my hand. "Bonjour Sky. Do you have gloves with you?" I shook my head as I lost my tongue for a second.

"We have them here, let's get started right away, shall we?' I nodded following him to the storage room. He passed me the gloves and showed me how to put them on, which wasn't rocket science but I decided to play dumb. He then brought me to one of the punching bags and explained everything I needed to know about boxing. I really thought he would go easy on me the first lesson but he didn't. I never had hit something that often whilst putting all my force behind it but after a few minutes I got the hang of it and I went for it, not caring that people might stare at me. This was just so relaxing, I could finally express myself in a healthy way.

"Sky, you have to stop." I heard Jamie say but for some reason I couldn't stop. My arms were burning by now but my rage was showing his ugly head so I just kept hitting until Jamie stopped me himself by knocking me out. It's a good thing it happened fast because that would hurt even more. "Sky are you okay, I didn't want to hit you but I couldn't get you to stop any other way." I was rubbing my painful face and was worrying about the bruise that probably was appearing right now. "I'm fine, I'm sorry I just have a lot of anger in me." I apologized.

"Do you need to talk about it?" I shook my head whilst getting up. "No but thanks for offering. What time is it?" he turned his head and mumbled the time. "Shit is it that late already, I have to go! Same time tomorrow?" I asked him with a smile even though that really did hurt. "Sure but please keep your emotions in control, I don't want to knock you out again." He smiled at me, normally I would swoon for a guy like him but no I just didn't. Yeah sure he was hot looking but all I could think about, was Louis and his beautiful blue eyes, when they weren't smudged by drugs.

I had completely forgotten Lucian when I stepped outside. I stepped back inside and went on a quest to find Lucian. The only spot I hadn't looked was the boy's bathroom and the locker room. There was no way that I would go in there but I did need to find Lucian. I sighed and put my hand on the doorknob and as I began to push it open, Jamie had put his hand on mine. "What are you doing?" Jamie asked me worried but I just smiled at him.

'Uhm, I was looking for my nephew Lucian and this is the only place I haven't looked." I quickly explained. "Lucian already left." He told me, which sucked as he was my ride back home. "Oh, thanks." I walked to the exit, when Jamie put his hand on my shoulder. "Do you need a ride?" I actually needed one but there was no way I would get it from him. "No I'm fine, thanks.' I stepped outside and made my way towards the beach, hoping that the café of my aunt was still open, of course it wasn't so I tried the restaurant of mr. Tomlinson.

I walked in but stopped when I saw Louis sitting at a table with a beautiful blond haired girl. "What the fudge!' I mumbled feeling hurt, when a waiter walked at me "Bon soir, can we get you a table?" I shook my head at the guy and was already backing away. I know I was rude to Louis earlier today but I didn't expect him to move on this quickly. "No thank you, Can I use your phone though?" I asked nicely, 'Oui, follow me please." I kept my head down, trying to be invisible. This was not an easy task though and I really ran out of luck when I spotted mr. Tomlinson. "Sky?!" He yelled through the restaurant. I looked over to where Louis was sitting and he had jumped up. Our eyes locked just a few seconds. I broke the stare this time by looking down at the floor.

I know he was already coming over. "You know forget about the phone, thanks though." I said quickly and ran out of the door. I kept running till my legs gave in. I let myself fall on the sand. I laid there staring at the stars, hoping that Louis couldn't find me but of course he did. "Sky, please let me explain." He begged when he was near enough. I would've jumped up if I could but of course I was too tired, after boxing and running. I did keep my mouth shut, out of fear to say something I would regret later on.

'It was not what you think." I moved my head so I could stare up at him, as I was still lying in the same position. "What was it then?" I asked as calmly as possible. "The reason I was talking to her, was because she knows you.' That was weird, as I didn't know anyone here. "What is her name?" I was really worried now because I had an inkling who it could be and if that was true than it was time for me to go back to America.

"Her name is Lindsey."
