Interrogation
Alex’s POV
I heard Luke introduce One Direction while I sat with Louis backstage on the floor. He kissed my cheek, stood up and ran out on stage with the rest of the band. I stood up from the floor and moved to the extra table set up backstage. As soon as I sat down, I saw the 5SOS boys walked off stage and toward me.
“Hey Alex.” Ashton greeted me with a warm but tired smile.
“Hey.” I really should get to know these guys since I’ll be with them for a few months. “You guys sounded great.”
“Thanks.” They all mumbled as they sat down.
Luke sat down on my right side with a sigh. I nodded and looked at my phone in my hands. It was lit up by a text from Joey. Him and I had been texting all day; just talking about how things were when I was little and how he was raised and just family stuff.

My mom used to talk about you to dad but he would get mad and tell her to stop. What happened between you two?
How do I even explain what happened to a 14-year-old? He wouldn’t understand…Actually he might. He was raised in all of it so maybe he would.

“Hey Alex?” Michael’s voice was eager as he sat down next to me at the table.
“What's up Clifford?” I asked looking up from my phone to see him smiling at me.
“I heard you got a tattoo on vacation?” I nodded. “Can I see?” He sounded so excited.
“Sure.” I turned around on the bench.
With my right hand, I reached across my chest to pull my left tank top strap aside. As I did so, I sighed. The strap was irritating my skin but I didn't feel like wearing something strapless to the concert.
“Whoa! That looks awesome.” Calum almost yelled out.
“Thanks.” I smiled and turned back around.
“I want to go to sleep.” Luke leaned his sweaty head on my shoulder.
“Me too.” You could tell when Calum was tired because he always got loud when he was tired.
“Go shower and change then you can go to sleep.” I rubbed his back soothingly. “Come on Lukey.” I cooed into his ear as everyone else started to leave the table.
“I can shower later and sleep now.” He mumbled quietly, adjusting his head.
“I like you Luke but you have to shower, you stink.” I giggled making him sit up.
“Fine.” He complained standing up before walking away.
(Later) Going to Miami (morning)
“Let’s make this trip fun!” Zayn offered excitedly.
We were all sitting around the table in their tour bus. My hands were clasped in my lap, holding my phone, while my head was rested on Louis’s shoulder. He was on my left, still half asleep. My phone started to ring, when I looked at it I saw that Calum was trying to FaceTime me. I accepted it and handed it to Zayn who was on my right and the most awake. Zayn took it and started talking to Calum and Ashton.
“You okay?” Louis asked as he set his hand in mine and entwined our fingers.
“I want to go back to sleep.” I complained pulling my head from his shoulder. “But I don’t want to miss out on the fun.” He squeezed my hand a little as I spoke.
“Aw baby, go get dressed and I’ll make you some food and coffee.” Louis kissed my forehead gently.
I stood up straight and started to turn toward the back of the bus but he pulled my hand back gently. He looked up at me with a sleepy smile as he pulled me closer to him. I leaned down and met his lips in a quick but meaningful kiss. When we pulled back, I stood up again and walked toward the back of the bus; our hands slipping from one anothers.
Once I was dressed, I looked at myself in the mirror while fixing the edge of my shirt. I hope Lou doesn’t mind me borrowing this. He probably wont even notice that it’s his. I slipped on my Vans before picking my clothes up from the floor. Laughter erupted outside of the restroom I was standing in so I hurried out, put my stuff away and walked toward the table where everyone was sitting. Zayn and Liam were resting their heads on the table and continued to laugh as well as Calum and Ashton. I looked to where Louis had been sitting and saw that it was empty. Where’s Louis?
“Is that Alex?” Calum’s voice rang through my phone as I passed the table and Liam looked at me.
“Oh hey Teeny.” He smiled at me.
“Hey Lili, hey Calum.” I waved and smiled.
“How are you today?” Calum asked as if he really cared.
“Why don’t you sit with us? I actually FaceTimed you for a reason.” Ashton had a serious look in his eyes.
“Come here Love, you can sit here.” Harry moved over so I could sit next to him.
“Thanks Hipsta.” I sat down next to him before turning my phone so I could see Calum and Ashton.
“How are you?” Calum asked again.
“Great. How are you?” I asked with a smile.
“Bored. We all should hang out!” He answered back excitedly. “Let’s all party on one bus.”
“Okay! Next time we stop, you guys should come on this bus since it’s bigger.” Harry was almost yelling in my ear.
“Definitely!” Calum started dancing around with the camera, making me feel dizzy.
“Can I have the phone for a minute?” Ashton asked reaching for the phone, when he got it he set it down and cleared his throat. “So, Alex, who’s Joey? I saw you texting him a lot last night.”
All the guys cooed at his question. I shook my head and laughed because I understood what he was insinuating.
“He’s my little brother.” I laughed out.
“Oh.” He blushed. “Sorry.”
“No, it’s okay.” I turned around at the noise of someone walking toward us and saw Louis.
“Hey, can I borrow you for a minute?” He asked shyly.
“Sure.” I smiled at him and then at my phone. “Bye guys, see ya later.” I stood up and followed Louis to the kitchen.
