The Hipsters and The Girl
Back in the states
Louis’s POV
We walked out of the terminal together, hand-in-hand, and were met by security guards. They smiled at us and then looked around at the growing crowd while Alex talked to one of the women behind the desk.
“-Luggage is being brought over.” The woman said with a polite smile and then went back to whatever she was doing before Alex talked to her.
“Okay, thank you.” Alex was always nice to the people doing stuff for her.
“So, Alex, can we talk about something?” I asked shyly as I pulled her away from the desk.
“Sure, is everything okay?” She seemed a little nervous.
“Yes, everything’s fine. I just wanted to talk to you about ‘us’. I know that I never took you out to dinner while we were home so I wanted to know if you wanted to go out tonight?” That had been bugging me the whole flight here.
“Yea, of course! I wouldn’t turn down a chance to get dressed up for you.” She leaned forward and pecked my cheek. “Oh shit, sorry.”
“For what?” I asked as she pointed to the fans. “Oh, I have no problem with them knowing.” I said with a smile and kissed her lips passionately making the fans scream for us.
“You're terrible.” She said with a smile that told me she wanted more.
I laughed and hugged her as the fans went crazy again. My eyes shot toward them and then I saw 4 people that looked extremely familiar. I smiled at them and let go of Alex. We walked over to them quickly, leaving the security guards behind.
“What the hell are you guys doing here?” I attempted to scold them but couldn’t because I was happy to see them.
“We didn't feel like waiting anymore.” Liam said with a smile.
“We missed you.” Niall pretended to pout.
“We missed you too.” I hugged him with a laugh while Alex hugged Liam.
We took our turns hugging them all and then saw security holding our bags. Harry wrapped one of his arms around my shoulders so I snaked mine around his waist as we walked toward the doors. I looked to my side and saw her laughing with Niall so I wasn’t worried about her. I’m happy to be back with these guys. I have all my best friends with me and a date with the girl I love. I couldn’t be happier.
“Where’s Alex?” I was startled by Niall’s question as I zoned out backstage. “And why’re you so dressed up?”
“She’s in the dressing room’s getting ready for our date.” My stomach clenched as I said it.
“Oh, where’re you taking her?” He seemed pretty interested.
“It’s a fancy restaurant, I cant pronounce it.” I chuckled and stood up as he sat down next to where I was sitting. “Do I look okay?”
“Yea, you look really nice.” He stood up again and fixed my collar before his eyes shifted to somewhere behind me. “Wow.”
“What?” I asked turning around.
My jaw dropped when I saw Alex. My eyes started at her feet where her heels made her legs even longer than they are. Her black skirt was short and her loosely tucked in top showed off her curves in a way I’d never seen them. Then when I got to her face, that warm smile she had made me happy; her skin was glowing and her eyes looked beautiful. In general she looked flawless but especially her face.
“Whoa” I breathed out as a smile spread on my lips and I walked toward her. “You look great.”
“Thank you.” She blushed and looked down at her feet.
I stepped forward and kissed her lips lightly. When I leaned back, she looked into my eyes and smiled.
“We should get going.” I looked at my watch as I spoke. “Let me go tell Paul we’re leaving and then we can go.”
“He’s right there.” She pointed behind me, when I turned around I saw Paul talking to Liam across the room.
“Oh.” I laughed to myself and walked over to them. “Hey, we’re leaving. I will talk to the guys about tomorrow when we get back to the hotel.”
“Okay, have a nice time.” Paul didn't seem to care so I walked back to Alex with a smile.
