the lucky one
We drove to their hotel first because we insisted. The hotel was only a block away from the restaurant. When we got there we couldn't even open the doors because there were so many fans.
"Guys I don't think it's a good idea for you to try to get in there," I said. Everyone agreed and we drove off again.
"Can we walk by the beach?"
"We are in heels," Sydney said.
"Moonlit stroll by the beach?" Harry said. "Sounds great."
"Yeah," Sydney said with fake excitement.
"Turn here," I said. There was a bunch of rocks that were easy to climb on, even in heels. The limo driver stopped and let us out. I slipped off my shoes and picked them up. I jumped onto the first rock. They were all mostly flat. I heard some of the girls complaining.
Isaac and I were racing but he was winning. He finally waited for me to catch up.
"But baby you got me moving too fast," I sang breathlessly. He laughed and wrote it down for me. I skipped over the rest of the rocks. I jumped into the soft sand and Isaac tackled me from behind. We both went flying into the sand.
"Isaac," I screeched.
"Sorry," he said. He was still on top of me though. He had his face buried in my hair. I pushed him off of me.
"Do you know how much this dress cost?" I lowered my voice.
"I don't even know for sure if it's mine." He laughed some more as he helped me up. I brushed off all the sand.
All of a sudden I hear a scream. I turn to see Dani falling and Isaac catching her. I rolled my eyes at his expression.
"I think I twisted my ankle," she said. I looked at her ankle. It was fine.
"Will you carry me home?" She looked at Isaac with puppy dog eyes. I was way better at it than her but Isaac still said okay.
I sighed and walked to the water. I should tell you that all my senses seem to be better than a lot of other people. The doctors think it has something to do with my surgery long ago.
I heard footsteps in the soft sand. I can tell that it is someone who is not used to walking on the beach. I turned to see Niall. I stopped and waited for him to catch up.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey. Thanks for letting us hang out with you guys."
"No problem. It was fun." We were quiet for a while.
"How much longer do you think it will be until the song is done?"
"Three to four days maybe. Depends on how annoying everyone is," I said with a laugh.
By this time we were home. We walked through the back door quietly. Nana and Papa were already asleep.
"I'll go get some blankets," I whispered. I walked upstairs and opened the closet. I grabbed a few blankets and started to turn around. I almost screamed when I saw a figure behind me. It was Isaac.
"Don't scare me like that," I hissed. He smiled and grabbed some pillows and blankets. We walked back down stairs and found everyone in the living room. I threw the stuff on the floor. And plopped onto it. Isaac threw the stuff on top of me and tackled me.
"Isaac," I complained quietly.
"Love birds," Sydney fake coughed. Everyone smiled. I glared at her but it ended in more of a laugh.
"You guys want to watch a movie?" Ellie suggested. Louis nodded enthusiastically and everyone murmured their yes. Jake looked through the movies. He was about to pick a horror movie when Abbi and Mara walked over. They grabbed out a few chick flicks. All the girls crowded around to pick one.
They ended up picking The Lucky One. As far as chick flicks go this is one that I've wanted to see.
The girls run upstairs to change into more comfortable things. Isaac, Quinn, and Eric go home to change and Jake and Brady go downstairs. I follow them downstairs and find some clothes for the boys to wear. I come up with five pairs of basketball shorts and t-shirts. I hope they're good enough.
I run upstairs to get changed. I change into some shorts and my big blue 'GEEK' sweatshirt.
Everyone comes back into the living room. Ellie sits on the couch and Louis jumps in next to her. He leans against the arm rest and she leans against him with her feet on the couch. Taylor does the exact same thing on the other side with Liam so that they can all fit. The other couch has Zayn and Mara on it with Abbi and Quinn. Brianna and Brady sit in front of the first couch with Anna and Eric. Sydney, Harry, Dani, and Niall sit in front of the other one. Stacy and Jake take the big chair so there is no where else to really sit. Isaac and I end up in front of everyone else. I have to start the movie. I have got to say that it isn't that bad. After the first five minutes we have to pause it.
We get some more food and everyone grabs blankets. I eat my favorite yogurt while laying in front of the TV. Isaac and I share a blanket and we watched the movie. Isaac and I were whispering back and forth about nothing really. When the movie ended I got up and was about to turn it off when I heard Isaac laughing. I turned to see what he was laughing at. I saw that everyone was asleep. They were all squished together. I'm going to guess the guys fell asleep first because this was a chick flick. I turned off the TV and followed Isaac upstairs.
We walked into my room. I flopped onto my bed and Isaac layed down next to me. I had a queen bed even though I only need a twin bed.
"Let's play a game," I said. I turned and laid on my side so that I could look at him.
"Would you rather?" He asked as he mimicked my position.
"Okay. Me first," I said. I thought for a minute.
"Would you rather...join an ugly boy band or a girl band."
"Obviously an ugly boy band so that everyone would look at me," Isaac said in a 'duh' voice. I laughed.
"Would you rather...have your other arm bit off or a foot?"
"A foot, I couldn't do anything otherwise," I said with a laugh.
"Would you rather...go on a date with me or Dani," I said mysteriously. Neither of us had ever asked something like that. Isaac looked nervous for a second.
"Uh...you," he said quietly.
"Why?" I prompted him. We always say why.
"Because you get me more and I could be myself," he said it as more of a question. I nodded.
"Would you rather...go on a date with me or...Niall?"
"Um..." I had to think for a little while because if I dated Isaac it would ruin our friendship but if I dated Neill I would be all over the Internet and magazines.
"I would choose Niall because I wouldn't want to ruin our friendship," I said. Neither of us spoke for a while.
After a few minutes Isaac turned away and closed his eyes. I decided he probably was just tired.
"Good Night," I said. "Love ya," I said as I turned the other way.
"Dido," Isaac said but he didn't really seem into it.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep quickly.
