End Of The Day

I’ve just finished changing when I hear the knock on the door.
“Hi Tom. You brought me dinner again? I’m going to be spoiled. I won’t know how to feed myself while you’re away in London.”
“There are about a million restaurants in LA, I’m sure you’ll manage. How did today go?”
“Well, my boss called me in his office this afternoon to tell me that apparently everyone is raving about my interview. He wants me to do more of them now. So you were right. This was my big break.”
Tom gives me a big hug. “I’m so happy for you, Lea. How were the guys? Were they nice?”
I grin thinking about Louis. “They were very nice. I’m actually going to see one of them tomorrow for tea.”
“Please be careful, Lea.”
“Tom, it’s just tea. Relax.”
“From the look in your eyes...I think it’s more than just tea.”
