End Of The Day

Louis has rented the house two doors down from ours, for his family. We spend most of Christmas Eve/Louis’ birthday with them. They are all so sweet, making me feel like part of the family. In the evening though, I steal Louis away for some time alone to celebrate his birthday. Back at the house, Louis and I sit outside by the firepit, enjoying the birthday cake I’ve made him. “This is delicious, Lea. Thank you.”
“I’m sorry I couldn’t do more for your special day.”
“Love, are you joking? This is my best birthday yet, cause I’m with you. I love you, Lea.”
“I love you, Birthday Boy.” I wink.

Early Christmas morning, I feel a kiss on my neck. “Happy Christmas, Love.”
I smile. “Merry Christmas, Louis.” I squint at the clock. “It’s a little early, isn’t it.”
Louis brushes the hair back from my face. “I want time alone with you, before we head over to the other house.” He kisses my forehead. “It is our first Christmas together, Love.”
“The first of many, I hope.”
“I’d like that.”
I smirk. “You know what I’d like?”
Louis grins. “What?”
“I’d like you to give me my present.” I slide my hand down his stomach to his ‘loaded gun’. “This present.”
Louis smirks. “Mmm, I have another present for you first.”
He slides down the bed, and as I grip onto his hair, my back arching, I’m thinking this is the best present ever.
We continue in the shower. Louis is completely in charge this morning. He has me up against the shower wall. Our rhythm, fast and rough. Both of us coming undone together. Our cries echoing throughout the shower.
As the warm water washes over us, Louis whispers in my ear. “You like your present, Love?”
I sigh, leaning back against him. “Yes, very much.”
