Nialls POV.

When we arrived to the celebrity ball, it was packed! There were celebrities, paparazzi, and fans everywhere! I was the 3 one to get out the limo and stepping on to the red carpet. Me and the boys headed down the red carpet towards some interviewers. He stopped us right as we were heading in.

Dennis: Hey guys! Can I pull you guys over for a second?

1D: Yea sure!

We followed close behind him as he led us in front of one of the cameras.

Dennis: Hello guys my name is Dennis Richards and I’m here with One Direction!

You could hear screams going on as he yelled our group name. Man it was really loud here. We waved into the camera with smiles on our faces, but I could tell Louis wasn’t up for it. Dennis then faced me with the first question.

Dennis: So how does it feel to be at one of the celebrity balls Niall?

Niall: Oh it feels great! I never would have imagine being at one of these things but now I am so yay!!!

I threw my hands in the air, making the girls cheer louder. Ha you could do anything to get them to cheer. It was quite funny if you ask me. He then turned to Liam who look a little caught off guard.

Dennis: So Liam, how is the tour for you guys?

Liam: Oh it’s quite great and amazing. Just to be touring with Katy Perry is so much fun. She is just an amazing person all around and never ceases to amaze people.

Dennis: What about the Vixens? Louis?

Well kind of froze in our spot at the questions. Our eyes met Louis as he stood there, a little shock but then sad at the thought of Talia. I was about to speak up for him but he finally found is voice at the right time before the reporter got suspicious.

Louis: Uh oh uh yea there great! Their fun to be around and we always have a great time together. I think we all have gotten pretty close to one another, some more ways than others.

I could tell how hard it was for him to hold that smile for the fear of being seen crying on the red carpet. Trust me, I would feel the same way. Hopefully Dennis wouldn’t pressure anymore questions on him.

Dennis: Well thank you guys and we’ll see you boys later then!

We all smiled but Louis was the first to turn away before actually saying bye to Dennis. I looked at Harry who had a worried look in his face. We kind of just stood there looking around at each other before going after him. I felt bad for him because he didn’t know that Talia was awake and we all did. It just didn’t seem right. “Harry we have to tell him, it’s literally breaking his heart.” He looked back at me. “No Azalea told me she has it under control. Just please let it play itself out Niall, please.” He looked at me with pleading eyes. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. “Fine.” He weakly smiled at me before going to find Louis.

LOUIS POV.

I couldn’t’ bare to stand there any longer after the bringing up of the group my love was in. I was feeling fine until then. I just had to get out of there before I broke out crying. I was already in the building looking for a bathroom. It was so crowded and I just wanted to be alone. I found one of the waiters there and asked him where it was.

“Oh just go down that hall and make a right at the 2nd door." I nodded and did exactly what he said. I made it to the bathroom and closed the door. The tears were threatening to come out at any moment and I didn’t want to cry like this, not here and not now. I had to suck it up and be strong in order for me to push on through this night. I stared at myself in the mirror and pushed my hair back out of my face.

Not paying attention to the door behind me, I heard it open but I dared not to look up. “Louis? Where are you?” I heard a voice calling me but I didn’t want to answer. I heard footsteps approaching me as the person found me, standing by the sink not saying anything, just staring down. “Oh Lou there you are. You okay bud?”

I looked up to see Liam right beside me with worry written on his face. The tears did go away but that didn’t stop me from breathing in a shaky breath. I shook my head and sunk down to the floor. He was quick to rush down to me, wrapping one arm around my shoulder comforting me. “I know I know man. It’s going to be okay, I promise. Just calm down and take a few breaths, you’ll be fine. I guarantee it” I felt my body stop shaking as I quietly stood up and faced Liam. “You’re right, you’re right man. Everything will be fine.” I breathed in and out a couple of times before relaxing and my heart slowing down a bit of its normal paste. “Feeling better?” In nodded and weakly smiled at him. “Thanks Liam, for everything.” He smiled back and we hugged.

We pulled away and was heading for the door. I pulled open the door, both of exiting the bathroom. We walked back into the venue, people everywhere. I heard a sudden *ding* noise that caught my attention. Liam reached into his pocket and looked at his phone, a smile coming across his face. He put it away and looked at me with the smile still lingering there. “Besides I told you, this night will get better.” Before walking away. I still didn’t get why he kept saying that but I just brushed it off and went to the table we were sitting at. I made small talk with a couple of celebrities and had fun but that one person was still in the back of my mind and even if I tried my best to forget her for tonight, there was no way she would leave.

TALLA’S POV.

We got out of the limo and was walking down the red carpet heading towards the building. We stopped and took pictures, mainly of me because everyone is just now finding out I came out of my coma. Even though I was here, I was still recovering from everything and the flashes were really making it hard to not feel a little dizzy but nevertheless, I made it. I heard my name being called by many reporters but I only had time to stop by 4 of them. My last one stopped me and politely asked me could she talk. Of course me not being the rude one, I accepted. I followed her over where she was previously standing while the girls still took pictures with each other.

Bella: Hi my name is Bella Harpens and here I am tonight with one of the ladies from The Vixens, Natalia Innes!

I smiled at her and waved at the fans behind the fences, a huge smile on my face. Man I missed this.

Bella: So this is new because we just now found out you just got out of your coma when?

Talia: Umm earlier today actually. The doctor surprisingly said I could leave which made me kind of suspicious because you know what if something bad happens but I am okay and I am here tonight so I’m happy.

Bella: That’s great! So how is the tour with Katy?

Talia: It’s actually really good. I love dancing for her and she always manages to make all of us laugh no matter what. She’s like a 2nd big sister to me.

Suddenly I felt hurt deep within me from saying that knowing that there will only be one sister who will never be outshined and that was Anabelle.

Bella: How about One Direction? How does it feel to be near 5 gorgeous boys every day? I know girls I very jealous of you girls.

Talia: Uhh yea it pretty great actually! They all are good boys and I love hanging out with them. There like brothers to me and you gotta love them ya know?

She nodded her head, agreeing with me. I saw my friends coming up to me so I decided to end the interview a little early but it looks like she was going to do it for me.

Bella: Well I let you head on in with your friends and see you girls later!

I waved at her and turn to meet up with the rest of the girls. “So how was the interview?” I smiled at them nicely. “It went great, the screams and the flashes are getting to me though so could we go in?” They all nodded and we walked towards the entrance together feeling great. I walked in to see the most beautiful ball room ever. The room was brightly lit with blues, silver, and whites everywhere. The tables had silver and blue napkins on them with a big bouquet of beautiful blue lilies and silver sparkles sitting in a transparent white vase. The whole ball room was big and on top of that, the dance hall was in another room. It looked beautiful. “Wow” Lina stole the words right out of mouth.

“This is beautiful. I haven’t been to one of these in a long time.” We all nodded at Penelope’s comment and walked in further. “Okay I’m going to text Liam and let him know were here okay?” We all nodded and found a table to sit at. I anxiously look around the room for the boys as I seen them approaching us. The girls stood up and smiled at them.

Of course the boys hug their girlfriends first and I stayed sitting down at the table on my phone pretending to be doing something. I heard a chair move beside me, causing me to look up at who was sitting down. It was Zayn. “Hey gorgeous.” I smiled at him and we both stood up to hug each other. “Hey handsome.” We pulled away and he looked at me up and down. “You look great. Louis is going to be excited.” I chuckled and thanked him.

“Where is he anyway?” I looked around but couldn’t see him. Zayn did the same also before turning back around to me and shrugging his shoulders. I laughed at him. “Of course you wouldn’t know, your Zayn duhh.” He glared at me playfully, earning another laugh from me. I spoke to the rest of the boys and also asked them were Louis was. They didn’t know either. “I’m going to go look for him okay?” They all nodded and I escaped into the crowd, desperate to find the one thing on my mind.

LOUIS POV.

I had loosen up a bit more after having 2 glasses of champagne. No not “loosen up” as in drunk, I mean loosen up as in not so uptight and worried. I was talking to a couple of other celebrities before a girl walked up to me. “Hey your Louis right?” I turn to look at her. It was Addie. “Hey Addie, I didn’t know you were going to be here!” She chuckled and nodded. “Yea I have to go to these things haha.” I look at her up and down. “Well you look gorgeous!” She looked away blushing.

Well this is awkward. She finally spoke back up, her eyes meeting mine. “Wanna dance?” I smiled at her and nodded. I needed something to get Talia of my mind even though it probably won’t work. She grabbed my hand and we went to the dance floor. Since the actual ball dance wasn’t for another hour, they played other songs. We were just randomly dancing until Cabaret by Justin Timberlake and Drake came on. I only know this song because it’s Talia’s favorite song and she plays it all the time. “Oh this is my favorite song!” Addie yelled over the music. I chuckled at how excited she was. We danced to this song and after it went off, we were both tired. We headed over to a table and sat down. “So tell me more about yourself Addie?” She put her drink down and scooted closer to the table so I could hear her.

“Well I am 20 years old. I am originally from Dallas Texas but moved here when I was 16 years old. My birthday is December 25th which makes every Christmas awesome!” I laughed and nodded. “My birthday is actually a day before yours.” Her eyes went big with a smile on her face. “No way! Seriously?” I nodded my head. “That’s amazing! No wonder we get along so well.” I smiled at her again but this just didn’t feel right. Being here with Addie instead of Talia, it just felt so off. “So what do you like to do? Your favorite food, sport, drink, pet?” I bombarded her with questions making her giggle constantly. “Slow down Tomlinson, there is only one of me ya know?” I chuckled and waited for her answer.

“Well I like to draw and write stories/poems/ or songs. My favorite food is a classic hamburger with lots of cheese on it! It is soooo good! My favorite sport is soccer and I love playing it. My favorite pet is a tiger.” I just stared at her. I couldn’t say anything because what shocked me was everything she like, Talia like. They were both alike. I couldn’t take it. All the things she like brought back memories of what me and Talia did together. “Helllooo? Louis?” She waved her hand in front of my face. I blink my eyes a couple of times before answering. “Oh yea aha sorry I just thought about something.” She smiled again. I could feel the tears forming in my eyes. A boy who look just about my age came over and stopped in front of us. She smiled up at him, obviously glad to see him. “Hey babe, I was about to text you, where were you?” She got up and stood beside him, me looking at them slightly confused. “Louis this is Jeff, my boyfriend.” I stood up, him smiling at me as I pushed a smile on my face. “Nice to meet you Louis.” I shook his hand.

I really needed to get out of here. No one could see me cry while I’m in here but the tears wouldn’t go away. Just seeing them together all happy broke my heart because I couldn’t do any of this with Talia, I miss her. I truly miss her. “Hey uhh guys I’ll be right back I need some fresh air” They both nodded and I turned around and left. Heading for the back exit. I pushed it open and saw the dim lit candles, the rose petals leading down to a path, and a white tent and under it sat a table for 2 with a white rose in a vase on the table. That’s when I remembered, I was going to take Talia out here and confess to her how I feel but couldn’t because she was in a coma.

That’s when I broke down. I sat on the brick stone wall crying my eyes out after everything just came crashing down on me. There was no way I was going to make it through this night knowing the girl I love wasn’t here with me.

TALIA’S POV.

I looked everywhere for him but could not find him. Was he even here? Did he even come with them or did he stay home? They said he was here so I guess he was. I sighed and turned back around to head back to our table when I stop by someone. “Natalia? Is that you?” I stopped and turned around, meeting pretty green eyes. She looked so familiar. “Natalia it’s me Addie!” That’s when it came back to me. It was Addie from when I lived in Las Vegas. “Addie Breeze?” She nodded with a big grin on her face.

“OH MY GOD! I missed you girl!” I quickly came over to her and hugged her. “I missed you too Talia!” She hug me just a tight and then we pulled away. “Oh my goodness you looks so much older than the last time I seen you. And your hair! What is that auburn?” She chuckled and nodded. “Well look at you girl! Your doing so good for yourself. It’s been so long. I heard what happen, how are you feeling?” I smiled at her and thanked her. “I’m feeling better. I actually got released today and nothing bad has happen yet so I’m fine for now.” She giggled and nodded. I remembered then what I was originally doing, which was looking for Louis. “Hey you know Louis Tomlinson right? From One Direction?” She laughed and nodded. “Of course I’m not dumb, what about him?”

I chuckled at her comment and smiled. “Have you seen him anywhere?” Her face lit up like she knew the answer to my question. “Yea I just talked to him 10 minutes ago. He told me he needed fresh air and I saw him go out the back way so he might be out there?” I nodded and thanked her. “Thanks Addie and maybe when could catch up on stuff over coffee?” She nodded and smiled. “Sounds go to be, here’s my number.” I handed her my phone and she put her number in it. “Talk you to later girl.” I waved by as I headed for the back door.

I opened the door and looked all around. I didn’t see him anywhere. Where could he be? I sighed and rubbed my forehead. I was about to go back in when I heard sobbing. I stopped and followed the noise. The next thing I saw broke my heart. There he was, sitting on the brick stone wall, crying. Oh my god he looked so broken. I needed to fix this now. I made sure not to make any noise as I came closer to him. I stood a few feet away from him and sighed quietly.

“Louis?”
