Everyone began to quiet down when the lights dimmed and the stage lights turned on. I sat in my seat next to the One Direction boys, Selena still hasn't showed up. I grabbed my phone and scrolled through her contact and found her name, then texted her.

Me: Where are you? You're supposed to be sitting to me.

Selena: Just got here my limo driver got lost. See you in a minute.

I put my phone away, and was startled when Niall, who was sitting next to me whispered, "I didn't mean to snoop but you have Selena Gomez's number?"

I nodded, "We're pretty close friends." I whispered back.

"Nice, she's hot." He laughed and leaned back in his chair.

I smirked, "I'll make sure to tell her that."

"No! Wait, I was kidding, well I mean- she's hot but...please don't tell her." He rambled.

"I won't I was kidding." I giggled.

Before Niall could reply, a flash went off and we both turned around. Some paparazzi snuck in and took a picture of Niall and I. I groaned, now they're going to spread more rumors and tell people that we're dating.

"Stupid papz." Niall murmured.

Just then, a voice came through the microphone. "Welcome to the 2015 Teen Choice Awards!" I recognized that voice as John Stamos, my childhood crush when he was Uncle Jessie in full house.

The crowd cheered, all I could hear was the obnoxious screams from the four boys sitting next to me. I, just clapped and smiled.

"Excuse me, sorry, excuse me!" Selena was trying to get through the boys, but they wouldn't listen to her. She looked at me, a frustrated look on her face.

I tapped Niall on his shoulder, "Hey let her through or I'll tell her that you think she's hot."

Niall smiled, "I should've kept my mouth shut," He faced the boys, "Aye, let the gal through!"

They all moved their legs and Selena passed through them will a sarcastic smile on her face. She sat down on the chair next to me and she let out a long breath.

"It's been a long night." She mumbled, and was silent for awhile.

"Who's ready for singing and awards!" The host came on stage, rallying up the crowd. "Alright, let's get this night started with the one and only, Katy Perry!"

My jaw almost dropped, Katy Perry was one of my idols and here I was so close to her and about to watch her perform. Katy got on stage and performed 'Dark Horse' and 'California Gurls'.

When Katy finished, they brought on Maroon 5, then Selena went up and sang 'Good For You'. Many more artist went up, it was a cool time. I was having a great time so far, and then the last performance of the night: One Direction.

I didn't even notice that they weren't sitting next to me anymore. They were already on stage, dressed up and ready to sing. I loved their music, so it will be a cool experience to hear it live.

The crowd cheered as Liam took a step forward and smiled, "Hello Los Angeles! How are you tonight?" More cheers, "That's wonderful! Let's get started, shall we boys?"

The tune for 'Steal My Girl' came on, and Niall started singing since Zayn was gone. They sang wonderfully live, I was shocked at how perfect their voices sounded. When the finished the song, my ears were ringing from all the cheers and screams of fans everywhere.

Then the music started for 'Drag Me Down', if it was possible, fans cheered louder. Harry started singing and so on and so fourth. They finished the song and sat back down in their seats next to me.

"Was that okay, love?" Harry asked me.

I was taken aback at first when he asked me, "Uh yeah it was great." I responded and focused my attention back on the stage.

"Okay everybody, let's get started with the awards!" John said, "Now the first award is most hits on a single in 24 hours. The nominees are, One Direction, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez and Robin Thicke."

I crossed my fingers that Selena would win, she worked hard on her new song. She pursed her lips as John opened the envelope.

"And the winner is," He paused, "One Direction!"

The boys cheered, as did their fans. Selena put on a fake smile and clapped for them because she was on camera. The boys claimed there awkward and thanked the fans and sat back down.

More people got awards and then John said, "Next award is best new rising star. The nominees are Nico and Vinz, Lacy Shalts, and Tori Kelly!"

I had no idea that I was nominated for an award. I tapped my foot on the floor to see who would win, because I certainly wouldn't.

"And the winner is," Another pause, "Lacy Shalts!"

I froze in my seat as the camera was on me and the spotlight. Selena pushed me so I stood up and walked over to the stage. The crowd was cheering, but I was frozen in shock. I can't believe I won.

I took the small trophy from John and shook his hand. Now I had to give a speech, oh god. "Well this was a huge surprise for me, so thank you." I spoke nervously, "Thank you to everyone who has supported me through everything, have a good night." And I walked off the stage.

I won two more awards tonight. One for best new hit single, 'Sorry For Loving You', and one for best hair, yes best hair I didn't believe it ether. I was up against The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes and Harry Styles.

Now the long night was over and people were finally leaving. The celebrities got to leave first, to beat the excited fans, I didn't mind them to be honest.

"Hey, Lacy good job!" Louis patted my back once we were all on the red carpet.

"Oh, thank you." I smiled.

Niall spoke too, "Yeah three awards at your first award show, amazing."

I thanked them both, but I couldn't help but notice Harry and Liam glaring at me from the corner of my eye. It made me uncomfortable and quite sad that they seem to not like me.

Selena noticed them glaring and she pulled me away from them, "Harry's probably mad because you beat him in best hair. Don't worry about it, let's go celebrate, yeah?" She smiled.

I nodded, "Yeah."
