Valerie’s POV

Harry’s lips wake me up pressed against mine. When I can reciprocate I feel him smiling at my lips.

-Yesterday’s night was amazing. – He tells me against my lips and I smile.

-What time is it, baby? – I ask him way too tired and he laughs.

-It’s nine in the morning. I have to go to work and I wanted to kiss you goodbye. I’m sorry I've woken you up-

-I love you. – I tell him falling asleep again and feeling my headache. Damn it, I drank yesterday.

He starts to sing Beast of Burden to me and I can hear his smile. I instantly blush and turn around giving him my back. I hide my face under the covers and he laughs.

-Baby! Don’t hide from me! That was beautiful! – He laughs and I’m feeling so damn embarrassed I just want to dig a hole and hide my face in it.

-Jesus Christ. I can’t believe you are making fun of me!

-I am not making fun of you. – He chuckles.

-But you are laughing!

-Because you are acting like a child! Come on you are hidden yourself from your boyfriend under the covers! What do you want me to do?

He takes the covers off of my face and holds my face with his hands forcing me to look at him.

-I’m sorry, baby. I wasn’t making fun of you. That was beautiful. I love you so much I don’t even want to go to work today.

He makes me smile and we end up kissing for minutes lying in his bed.

-If I didn’t have to go to work, I’ll make love to you right now but I have to go.

I pout and kiss him again and he chuckles and kisses the tip of my nose. When he is gone, I fall back asleep holding his pillow. I take Harry’s scent in as I wake up. I turn around only to find a cold empty space where he was lying before. I get up and go to the bathroom, finding a post-it stuck on the door. “I had to go to work baby. You are at home. I love you.” A smile finds its way in my face and I keep the post-it as a memory of how lucky I am and how sweet Harry is. I find two clean towels and Harry’s clean boxers, t-shirt and sweatpants on the sink. There is another post-it there. “You can wear my clothes if you want to have a shower. There are more on my wardrobe, feel free to choose.” I am amazed at his thoughtfulness. I do have a shower and get on his clothes and send him a picture of myself with wet hair in his clothes.
To Harry Styles: Can you get any cuter? I love you so much.

I’m hungry as hell so I am having some breakfast stealing food from Harry’s fridge. Again, there’s a post-it on the fridge. He happens to have thought of everything. How cute is that? “I bought a strawberry soy milkshake for you. It’s on the fridge. I love you Valerie.”

That’s it. I am asking him to marry me. Where does this kid come from? Jesus, I love him. As I’m enjoying my breakfast in the garden I check all the missed calls and texts. I call Roger first.

-Hey, Roger, what is it?

-Hey, Vals, this is great news! So you are nominated for the MTV Best Female Performance for Live for me! You were brilliant so you are most likely winning and I’m so proud.

-Thank you, Roger. It’s great news! – I am laughing from bliss.

-Also, Cavalli has sent me the clip of your commercial. I’ll give it to you as soon as I see you but you are wonderful, kiddo.

-Thank you, Roger.

-Lastly, did you have a look at Ella’s script?

-I did and wow, it’s amazing. – Roger laughs excited.

-Isn’t it? So you have to go to Brazil in two weeks so that the tiger meets you and you guys can get along.

-Oh my god, I can’t wait. That’s gonna be so beautiful!

-It is gonna be so beautiful but you have to be patience and careful.

Roger keeps talking to me but I am already fantasising about the shooting of the movie. When I read the script and the story I went crazy. This is going to be the most beautiful movie I have ever been in. I decide I’m actually going home to have a go with the script.
From Harry Styles: U look nice in my clothes. Sorry I didn’t reply but we are looking for a babysitter for Lux for today. Crazy.

To Harry Styles: I can take care of Lux.

-Hey, baby. Thank you so much for being this cute. – I tell him when I pick up his call.

-I’d take care of you anytime. Are you sure you can take care of baby Lux? We need Louise today for the shooting of the video and Tom is at work. Baby Lux is not feeling well, hence she doesn’t want to be here and there is no one that can take care of her...

-Hey, babe – I interrupt him chuckling at his nervousness – I can definitely take care of her today. I’m free and she is cute as a button. Do you want me to pick her up from... wherever you guys are at?

-You don’t mind?

-It’s okay, baby. I love kids! Text me the address though because I don’t know where you guys are.

-I love you so much. – He tells me relieved and I laugh.

-I love you too.

As I get in the car I realize I’m genuinely excited to spend the day with baby Lux. She is cute and little and I am thinking about a few things I can do with her. She reminds me of my little sister back home who I love and miss so much and I think that’s why I like so much to spend time with her.

When I walk into the building Harry has texted me, I find a baby Lux sitting on the couch next to her mum. Louise greets me happy to see me.

-Oh, Valerie, thank you so much! – She seems so stressed. – I could never thank you for this. You are on your day off and you are willing to take care of my baby. You are such a sweetheart.

-It’s no problem, Louise. You can ask me to take care of Lux whenever you need it. We are friends, aren’t we?

I caress her shoulder to try to calm her down and she hugs me. That was unexpected but I hug her back and caress her back like my mum used to do when I was worry. -Thank you, Val. I’ve been so stressed lately; I have barely seen Tom even... I really appreciate this.

-It’s nothing, Louise. You look beautiful, by the way.

She really does as usual. I pick Lux up and just when we are about to leave, I hear Harry’s voice at the door.

-Has Val arrived yet? – He sees me holding baby Lux about to go. – Were you going to leave without saying hi? – He asks getting closer to me. – You won’t, babe.

He smiles at me and grabs me by my waist kissing me tenderly on the lips. Baby Lux is on one of my flank side while Harry is touching the other with his upper chest.

-I love you. – He says against my lips.

-I love you more.

We keep on kissing until I pull out because Lux is starting to weight on my arms. He kisses me goodbye and walks me to the door and then he is gone. I sit baby Lux on my car and drive towards Louise’s house.

When we arrive, I bathe baby Lux and we play with her dolls while she is in the bathtub. My mum used to do that with me and I remember how I enjoyed our bathe time. After the bath, she is feeling way better and we take a selfie to show it to her mum. Baby Lux is talking to me a lot about her little life. She tells me about her dad, about her mum and about the lads, especially about Harry who seems to be her favourite.

Then she tells me about her grandparents and how she misses them while we draw and colour some weird things on pieces of paper she has brought to the table alongside with her thousands of colours. She paints us both as princesses everywhere and then she paints her mum as a queen holding Tom’s hand, who is portrayed as a king, and then there’s a prince Harry and a princess Valerie holding hands and surrounded by hearts. In the middle of the drawing there is a small Lux riding a pony. How cute is that?

I remember how stressed Lou was and that she said she has barely seen Tom lately and so I decide I’ll call Tom to tell him to take Louise out for dinner today and that they relax because I’ll take care of baby Lux. He thanks me excited and I smile at his eagerness to spend some quality time alone with his girlfriend. I’m already missing Harry.

After we play with Lux’s Barbie dolls, she tells me she wants to play Just Dance on her Wii and I gotta say I get so excited when I hear Just Dance on Wii. That’s such a fun game. I hear my phone ringing and when I pick up the call I realize it’s already six.

-Hey, Val, we are done and I’m gonna be going home any minute. – Lou doesn’t know she wouldn’t since Tom is waiting for her outside. How cute. - How is Lux?

-Hey, Lou. She is alright, we are playing Just dance on Wii. This is so cool. – I tell her excited as a kid.

-I bet you are more excited than my daughter. – She laughs and I laugh along.

Baby Lux talks to her mum and I smile at her cuteness. When she hangs up and she dances to What does the fox say? I decide I’ll call my love.

-Hello, baby. – I can’t help but to smile like a fool.

-Hi, love. I miss you. – I can hear his smile. – Have you two had dinner?

-We haven’t. I’m staying with Lux tonight so that Lou and Tom can have dinner alone, I’m sorry. I wanted to spend the night with you.

-You will sleep with me tonight, love.

-Harry.

-Yeah?

-I love you. – He laughs. – And I miss you and I want to kiss you so badly.

I go to open the door while I pout even though he can’t see me. I really do want to kiss him so badly. When I open the door I find a smiling Harry holding a pizza on his hand.

-Surprise! – He grins at me holding his cell phone on his ear.

I kiss him pushing him with eagerness and he laughs. I pull out when I hear baby Lux calling me and we both walk inside the house. Lux gets so excited when she sees Harry and runs to hold him.

Then he cuts the pizza in slices for the three of us and feeds Lux while the little girl tells him what we have done. She runs to pick up the drawings we have made so that she can show them to Harry.

I have been looking at them smiling like a fool all the time. I like this part of Harry all sweet and caring with baby Lux and for some reason I can’t help but to think about how it would be for us to have kids. I am going too fast with Harry, especially considering this is our last week together which makes me feel like I’m missing oxygen.

Harry laughs when he sees us in the drawing as princess and prince holding hands and surrounded by hearts and then he looks at me. He asks me what’s wrong without words, just giving me his confused grimace and I blow him a kiss. I want to kiss him and cuddle with him but we are babysitting Lux. Suddenly, Kiss you by One Direction is on replay out of nowhere and I laugh when Harry starts to look around for the source of their song. Baby Lux goes excited to the TV and we realize it’s coming out of the Wii. It’s a song in this Just Dance thing and I laugh hard.

-Dance with me, Valerie! Dance! – Lux says giving me the Wiimote.

I smile at Harry taking the Wiimote and Lux and I dance to Kiss you like if we were professional dancers. Harry sits on the couch behind us and chuckles when we do ridiculous movements. I bet he is enjoying this.

Harry’s POV

Valerie turns around to look at me singing “and let me kiss you” as the songs ends. She is the most embarrassing human being I have ever met.

While she danced with baby Lux so many things crossed my mind. I think about how much I’m truly going to miss her. I think about how little time we have left together. Would I ever find a girl that makes me feel the way she makes me feel now? I can’t help but to think I won’t.

I don’t think I have ever fallen in love this hard for anyone and I don’t think I am ever going to fall in love this deep again. Maybe this happens once in a lifetime like romantic comedies say.

When baby Lux stops dancing just so that she could look at Valerie while she does those weird movements following the Wii girls suit, I find myself thinking about how our kid would look like. I know I’m not thinking straight and that I’m going way too fast with Val but I know she is the one. If I’m ever getting married or having kids, I hope it is with her.

-Lux is tired, isn’t she? – She asks Lux bending down to be at her height.

-Can we watch a movie? – Lux pouts at Valerie and she laughs.

-Sure, sweetie. – Valerie looks at me. – Why would you smile like that, Harold?

I shrug and shake my head. There is no way I'm telling her what I was thinking.

-So which movie are we watching, Lux?

-Acquarella! - Lux throws her little arms to the air excitedly and Valerie chuckles blushing.

-Why don’t we watch some other movie? We can watch Gru or Lilo and Stitch!

-I think Acquarella is such a great movie. – I tease.

-Have you ever watched it? – Valerie asks somewhat embarrassed.

-I haven’t but I’ve heard the main character is really pretty.

-It’s Valerie! Acquarella is Valerie! – Lux shouts out while she picks the DVD from the shelf.

I laugh and then Valerie puts on the movie. She goes to the kitchen to do some popcorn after baby Lux told her where the popcorn were and when she arrives the Disney castle greets her. She sits down next to Lux on the couch and doesn’t even look at me. I know she is embarrassed as hell and that is somewhat funny.

The fifteen year old Valerie is lovely and the movie is funny. Valerie plays a thirteen year old mermaid who has to move with her dad, who is a normal human being, when her mum, who is a mermaid too, has to travel to the Magical World to check some Magical Papers. The little mermaid, who is called Acquarella, has to live a “normal” life going to school and trying not to do her magic since nobody can know she is mermaid.

Baby Lux laughs hard when Valerie messes up in the movie. Before the movie ends, baby Lux is asleep and Valerie tries to shut off the telly.

-What are you doing, babe? – I tease.

-Baby Lux is asleep and this movie is awful so I’m shutting off the TV.

-But I want to watch it. – I smile at her when she rolls her eyes.

-Are you serious? – She tells me somewhat annoyed. – This is embarrassing.

-Come on! – I laugh.

I pick her up and throw her on top of me on the couch kissing every inch of skin of her face I could possibly reach. She pretends to be annoyed but she ends up laughing and playing with my hair.

-Kiss me. - She says searching for my lips and I smile.

I’ve been waiting to kiss her all evening. I hold her face with both my hands and kiss her lips lovingly. It’s a sweet kiss, no tongue, just our lips moving in sync. She pulls out and rests her forehead on mine.

-Didn’t you want to hang out with the lads today? – She asks me Eskimo kissing me.

-I have told you before I rather be with you. – I tell her sincerely and she sighs and hugs me.

-I am glad you came.

-Are you sleeping at my house tonight? – I practically beg her.

-If you want me to... – She smiles at me and this time it is me who sighs.

-Please.

She smiles and kisses me again and I take advantage of this to press the play button and a younger Val’s voice is heard through the speakers of the telly. I smile in our kiss and she pulls out and punches my chest playfully. She tries to stand up but I hold her close and she laughs.

-Come on! Stay with me and pamper me. I’ve missed you today and damn baby Lux wouldn’t fall asleep so that you would give me some attention.

She laughs and caresses my face looking at me.

-You have no idea how much I love you.

-You are trying to distract me so that I don’t watch your movie but I am watching it.

To be honest, my heart skips a beat when she tells me that but I’m trying to play it cool. It’s always the same thought at the back of my head though: if she loves me that much, why wouldn’t she stay with me?

We watch the movie until it ends and I get to see the younger Valerie being kissed by a guy at the movie. She gives the camera a funny face of disgust when she is kissed and I laugh. She makes fun of me because I’m laughing with a movie for kids but I can tell she is still embarrassed.

When the movie ends I take Lux to her bedroom and place her in her bed while Valerie washes the dishes and puts everything in place. At nine in the evening, Louise and Tom arrive home and thank us for everything. Lou hugs Valerie which makes me smile and then they both talk for a little while whilst Tom shows me his new mix for a new song. After ten minutes, Valerie and I are off.

-So you were fantastic as a mermaid.

-What do you mean? – She teases me.

-I mean you were funny and lovely.

-You were so fucking cute when you were talking to Lux at dinner.

I chuckle at her cursing and pull her in for a hug.

-What are we doing now? – I ask her hoping to be alone with her.

-It’s quarter past nine... Let’s call Louis.

I mean we could just go to my room and lock ourselves there and make love all night but she is up to hang out and that’s fine. We will make love later anyway.
