Strictly Professional.

Penny's eyelids were heavy, opening them completely was a burden. She felt dizzy and exhausted, her lips were dry and chapped and shed lost at least 10 pounds which made her look even worse.

The nurse had come into her room, pulling the curtains open and letting the blinding sunlight pour into the room. Penny gasped and squinted her eyes closed.

"close it, please." Her voice was raspy and strained, she felt like death.

"Good morning to you too ms Duran, how you feeling today?" The nurse, whose name tab revealed her name to be Rachel, tugged the curtains back together and walked over to her bed, looking at her I.v. And making sure everything was in order.

"My head is pounding and every bit of my body is tender to the touch. I feel like I have the flu." Her eyes fluttered opened some and finally focused on Rachel. She was a pretty nurse with long brown hair and dark blue scrubs on.
"It's time for your medicine, so that should help." She said as she opened a the tube on the cord allowing her to inject the pain medicine into the iv. They weren't quite at pills yet.

"Now, there are two young men waiting to see you and they're causing kind of a ruckus. Should I send them in?" She gave Penny a concerned look, obviously she knew who they were, but didn't want to unnerve Penny.

"Yeah, I'll see them." She sat up in her bed some, flinching from the sudden movement, but finally settling back into comfort.

Harry walked into the room, his eyes were swollen and he looked terrible. Like he hadn't slept in weeks. Niall was right behind him, he didn't look so hot himself.

"Penny, baby, I'm so happy to see you're awake..." Harry's tone was soft and the need to embrace her was obvious on his face, even though he didn't act on it.

"Yeah, we've been so worried. It's great to see you sitting up." Penny wasn't able to get a word out between the two. They each pulled up a chair and Harry cautiously took penny's hand.

"I'm happy to..." She lied. She was miserable. She had all these emotions inside of her that were tearing her apart. She didn't know how she could go back to normal.

"I spoke to my mother, father, and Mauri earlier today...they were very vague on all the specifics...where is Silas?" Her voice was frigid, but she had to know. Was he in jail?

"Silas..." Harry began, but Niall assisted, taking the burden of bad news off of Harry's shoulders.
"He's dead love, be tried to kill you and they had to act."

Penny's eyes looked different. They'd always had an amber tone to them, but they seemed almost golden now.

She blinked once, a single tear falling down her cheek.

"Good."

The boys looked at each other and then back at her, what do you say in this situation? It was all too heavy.

"Look, I'll give you two a minute.." Niall stood and ran his fingers through his hair, while he loved Penny - he knew now was the time to give her space.

"Yeah mate, I'll catch up with you later." Harry's eyes instantly connected with penny's. She was feeling defeated again. He has taken so much from her; so much she'd willingly given to him when they were younger. She had so many questions and didn't know where to start.

"Harry."

"Yes love?"

"I've been cheating on you with Niall."
