Strong (Book 2 in the No Control series)

We start down the aisle. My eyes fixated on the gazebo. I will never forget the exact moment that Liam came into my view. I literally stopped, my breath catching. Niall and Harry whispering, asking if I am ok. My stunning, perfect, handsome Prince. Liam always looks incredible. Today however, he is somehow beyond perfection. His black tuxedo fits every inch of his body perfectly. His hair looks incredible. Every hair in place, yet still looking soft and touchable. His sexy whiskers, skillfully trimmed to ‘just right’.
However, the thing that makes my heart flip. His eyes. His gorgeous deep chocolate brown eyes, so full of genuine love and affection for me.
I watch as Liam puts his hand to his heart. He mouths the words. “So beautiful.”
I see Louis touch Liam’s arm. Later Liam tells me that he was so blown away by how beautiful I looked that he thought Louis may have to hold him up.
I have no idea who is sitting in the seats. I only have eyes for Liam. As we reach the gazebo, Liam comes forward. Harry and Niall each give me a kiss on the cheek, then take their places next to Louis.
Liam stands in front of me, we don’t say a word. He touches my face lightly. Looking me up and down. Taking his time, admiring all of me in my gown. The appreciation in his eyes makes my heart flutter. I know I’ve chosen the right dress. He leans forward lightly kissing my cheek, whispering in my ear. “My princess.”
I smile. Tears threatening to spill over. I touch his cheek. “My prince.”
Liam takes my hand and leads me to the altar as he was supposed to all those minutes ago. Although that moment wasn’t planned, wasn’t part of the ceremony, I wouldn’t change it for the world. It was genuine, it was perfect.
