Strong (Book 2 in the No Control series)

I don’t recognize the woman in the mirror. She looks like a fairytale princess. Caroline comes up behind me. “Perfect, absolutely perfect.”
We are in the small tent that’s set up near my entrance. It’s meant for any last minute touches before I head down the aisle.
Niall gives me a hug. “Wow Liz, you look amazing. I hope Payno can stay standing when he sees you coming down the aisle.”
I smile. “Thank you Niall, for everything. For walking me down the aisle, for telling me I look amazing, and for using our golf course.”
Niall cackles. “Hey, what are friends for?”
Caroline ushers everyone outside to line up. Harry hangs back. He’s just looking at me, taking all of me in.
“Am I presentable yet?” I grin.
He laughs. Then his look turns more serious. “Lizzie, you look utterly breathtaking. More beautiful than any bride I’ve ever seen. I need you to know that I’m happy for you. This is what’s right for you, what makes you happy. And that makes me happy.”
“Thank you, Harry.” I give him a kiss on the cheek. “You know you mean the world to me.”
Harry smiles. “And you to me, Lizzie.”
The wedding planner calls for me. Everyone is lined up. The ceremony starts in five minutes. I can’t see Liam yet, and he can’t see me. Not till I begin my walk up the aisle near our guests will we be able to see each other.
I try to remember the words I want to say to Liam. We are using the traditional vows, just adding a little something extra.
The wedding planner announces it’s time to start. She sends off the first bridesmaid. I watch as they head off one by one. Caroline blows me a kiss before heading off herself.
I slip my arm through Niall’s, my other through Harry’s. Grasping my bouquet tightly. The wedding march begins. I take a deep breath. “Let’s go boys.”
