A Friend, A Lover, A Stranger

COMING SOON!!! -- SNEAK PEEK INSIDE

Hi everyone!! This is my first story on this website. I am still working on it, but it is called A Friend, A Lover, A Stranger. I am expecting to post the first chapter on September 12th providing there are no complications. I hope to be posting every 3 days, hopefully if I have enough chapters, but it could also be once a week. I am super excited for the story to come out. Subscribe now if you want to be updated when the first chapter comes out. A sneak peek below.

I will not be using any names in the previews except for Alix's so that when they arrive in the story it's still a bit of a surprise.

I wiped my mascara ridden cheeks with the heel of my hand. "You cannot just show up like this!" I shouted at him. "Do you know how long it's been?!?! Do you?? It's not fair. It's not fair to anyone!" I continued on.

"Alix, please, please calm down. I know, just give me a chance." He pleaded, tears welling in his eyes.

"Why?" I asked. I had stopped crying. Now I was just pissed off. He couldn't just show up here after radio silence for years. I was beyond angry.

"Because, of all of the times we had before I left. Because of all the moments we shared. Because you love me." He said, his eyes pleading. "You do love me?" He asked. There was silence, I didn't speak at least 3 minutes.

"Yes, yes. I do love you. I love you so much. There aren't words to describe how much I love you bu-"

"Alix?" A voice cracked behind me. He stood there on the steps. His face had fallen. "Alix?" He said again. My shoulders slumped.

"It's, this... It isn't what I meant." I tried. It wasn't what I meant. If had stayed quiet for 10 seconds longer, he would know it wasn't what I meant.
