The Making Of Us

Last night was the first night Niall and I spend all night together. Let me tell you I could defiantly get used to waking up to him every morning for the rest of my life. I wake up and roll over to see the clock, it reads 7:18am. After last night I don’t even know how I am up this early but oh well. I look over at Niall, he looks so angelic sleeping I almost don’t want to wake him up yet. I lean over anyways and place a strong kiss on his lips he stirs a little bit before I take his bottom lip into my teeth and pulling a little bit. He stirs a little more, I get the feeling that he is awake and is just playing games with me. So to be a big tease I jump up out of bed and go to the closet to get my outfit for today. It’s a bit chilly and supposed to rain off and on all day so I settle for my black skinny jeans, red and black checkered shirt with my red converse shoes.

I pull Niall’s long shirt up over my head and am standing fully nude on his side of the bed I am putting on my pink lace undies and pink lace bra when I feel a pair of strong arms wrap around my mid -section. I turn around to see Niall’s beautiful face snuggled into my neck.

“Hey baby how did you sleep?” he asked

“Very well Mr. Horan and how about yourself?”

“I slept very well also. Are you ready for our adventure today?”

“Yes I am, it sucks that it’s going to rain almost all day and are you sure that it’s ok with the X Factor producers that you have the day off from practice and all that. I don’t want the boys to get angry for you spending the day with me.”

“No everyone is ok with me taking the day off. I wouldn’t miss spending time with you anyways. That’s why I asked for today, tomorrow and Friday off.”

“Niall, you seriously did not take that much time off did you? I don’t want you to get in trouble and get behind on everything you’ve been working so hard for.”

“Cassie, I love you and yes I did I made an agreement with the boys that I would meet them at the studio for practice for 2hours every day for the next three days. So everything is going to work out alright.”

“Ok” is all I could reply.

By the time our little conversation was over I was already dressed and ready to go except for having to fix my hair. I’m not even going to bother putting on make-up today. As I am doing my hair; Niall is getting dressed. Actually we almost match today he is wearing black skinny jeans, a black sleeveless shirt and red trainers.

*Knock Knock Knock*

“Who is it?” I say walking to the door

“It’s me, Mary dear”

“Hi Mary, how is your morning going?” I ask opening the door

“Very well thank you. Olli is waiting for you outside, if you want to be on time you better get going now since you have to go get Mr. Niall as well.” As Mary says his name he walks up behind me.

“Yeah about that Mary…Please don’t tell my mom he stayed the night in my room. Please, he has the next three days of and will probably be staying with me for that time” I say nervously

“Cassandra! Your secret is safe with me just promise me that you are being safe ok. I know what it’s like to be young and in love. My husband; god rest his soul, we were together for 63 years before his death. He was my high school sweetheart as well.”

“First stop is Buckingham Palace to watch the Changing of the Guards, then We will head to Kensington Palace, Westminster Abbey and Tower of London to see the Crown Jewels.” Olli informs us as we pull away from the curb.

The ride over was quiet, my phone buzzed indicating I got a text message. It was from Taylor

“Hey girl, just wanna let you know your mom is doing ok. Doctor thinks she might be coming down with a cold but they’re keeping a close eye on her. I just left from up there.”

“Thank you Tay for checking on her for me. I feel so bad for leaving her while she’s in this condition. Please keep me informed on what is happening with her. Give her a hug and I’ll call her later.” I reply back to Taylor.

Taylor was doing me the biggest favor by visiting my mom twice a day for me while I was gone and letting me know what the doctor says. I hate to leave her alone in the hospital while she’s fighting the biggest battle of her life but I really needed this time away. I needed to get my mind off of her being sick and the only way I could do that was to come see the love of my life.

“Ok Cassie and Niall we have arrived at Buckingham Palace. The Changing of Guard shall start in 20 minutes so I suggest you get out and go catch a good spot so you can see.” Olli says as the car rolls to a stop

Niall and I get out and walk 50 feet ahead of us to the curb, we find an open spot and sit down and wait for this show to start. About ten minutes later we see men in red uniforms start walking up the street some on white horses as well. They are marching and doing some salutes to other guards before switching spots. The whole thing last about half an hour. After the show we walk the short distance to the Tower of London. We looked at the Crown Jewels, and saw where the prisoners were held and we saw where the guillotine was used to behead people. From there we moved along to see the London eye and went to Trafalgar Square.

Olli dropped me of at the hotel while he took Niall to the studio to get his practice time in. When I got up to my room I called my mom

“Hi mom, how are you feeling?”

“I’m coming down with a cold so I feel kinda shitty. The doctors are keeping a close eye on me because my immune system is shot.”

“Yeah, I’m sorry you’re not feeling well I will be home before you know it. Niall and I walked around London today seeing the different attractions. My favorite part was the Tower of London and my least favorite was the London Eye just because I hate Ferris Wheels.”

“Well honey I’m glad you had fun today I can’t wait until you’re back home again. I’ll see you soon. I love you baby.”

“I love you too mom, bye”

I’ve been in London for 3 days now. I’ve had the most amazing time with Niall last night he took me out to a fancy restaurant for dinner and the food was amazing. We were still so exhausted from our outing that we barley hit the mattress before we passed out. Today Niall has to go over to the studio and get ready for the live show tomorrow night. So I’m hanging around the hotel today and possibly go for a swim later, but for now I think I’m going to take a nap.

I woke up to my phone ringing, I looked at the clock it said 3:35pm I slept pretty much all day. I grab my phone and see that I have six missed calls from Taylor. My heart starts racing as I call her back

“Thank god Cassie I’ve been trying to reach you all day. I don’t want to tell you this on the phone but I have no choice cus you can’t get her very soon. Your mom was moved to Intensive Care.”

“What!? Why?” I shout into the phone

“Her blood pressure was dropping and she started crashing into a code blue. The doctors put in a breathing tube and she is heavily medicated. Cass it’s not looking good I think maybe you should come home now.”

“Yeah.. Yeah I’ll get my things gathered up and get the first flight out of London as soon as possible. Thank you for calling me Taylor you’re my best friend and I love you.”

I quickly hang up and call Niall “Hey babe I miss you”

“Niall! My mom was moved to intensive care and has been put on a ventilator” I say sobbing into the phone

“Oh my god Cassie wait in the room I’ll be there soon.”

Niall POV
It took me about ten minutes to run on foot to Cassie’s hotel. I bust through the front door and hear sobbing coming from the bedroom. I make my way back there to find Cassie face down in the pillows and her suit case packed full.

“Hey baby I’m here” I say sitting down next to her in the bed.

“Oh Niall, what am I going to do? She can’t die; she’s my best friend what am I going to do without my mom? This isn’t fair” Cassie sobs into my chest.

“I know honey, everything will be ok, let’s get you to the airport so you can get to her. She’s the more important one right now.”
