Chapter 23
Chapter 23 (Louis’s P.O.V.)
I was shocked when I heard the news from Tracey. To think that she was in such a state just because she was so confused about her feelings for Liam. It worried me a bit. She was taking all of this harder than Liam, and wasn’t even being social with any of us. This was the exact reason Tracey and I were preparing to put our plan into action soon.
“So when do you think we should do this?” I heard her asked me through my phone.
“Phase one should happen soon.” I answered her. I could picture her nodding in response.
“Come on.” I heard someone whining from beside me. “Get off the phone.”
It was Eleanor. She was dying for my attention. I had told her that the call was important, but she didn’t seem to care. All she knew was that I was on the phone with Tracey again.
“One minute,” I mouthed to her as I went back to my conversation with Tracey.
“But the question is,” Tracey said, “how soon?”
“Very soon.” I said, getting a devilish grin on my face. I could see it now. Everyone would be back to normal if our plan worked.
“Are you two plotting the end of the world again?” Niall asked as he sat down nearby.
“No,” I replied.
“Whatever,” he said as he grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. I was about to say something to him, but he turned the volume down.
“Okay, but which version of phase one are we going to use?”
I thought for a moment before answering, “The fun phase.”
“That’s what I was thinking.” I could just see her smiling evilly. It made me smile deviously again.
“I’m worried.” Another voice in the room said. I watched as Harry walked in a plopped down on the other couch, almost landing on Niall.
“Shut up.” I grumbled to him.
“I can’t wait.” Tracey laughed from the other end of my phone.
“Louis…” Eleanor whined, dragging my name out. I knew she was really getting fed up with my conversation with Tracey. I couldn’t help it though, I was having fun and it was for a good cause.
“Alright Trace, well I’m going to go.”
“Okay Louis, wouldn’t want to make Eleanor mad. See you.”
And with that she hung up. I chuckled as I put my phone in my pocket, turning to look at Elie. She was looking straight ahead, her arms folded over her chest as she huffed.
“What?” I asked. I had gotten off the phone, what was she all huffy about?
“I heard that.”
I looked at her for a moment before I realized what she was talking about. She had heard what Tracey had said to me before we hung up.
“She was only joking around.” I tried to explain, “She didn’t mean anything by it.”
“I don’t care.” She said, not moving from her position.
“Come on, Elie.” I leaned over toward her, “Lighten up.”
“No,” she stated bluntly, “I will not lighten up until you start paying attention.”
What had gotten into her? I had been paying attention to her since she had gotten here. The only time I hadn’t was when I was working or the two calls I had with Tracey. I take five minutes out of the day to hear what is wrong with a friend of mine and she wants to act like this.
“Fine.” I said as I leaned back in the couch and turned to the other boys.
Harry and Niall were trying not to look at the two of us as we were talking, but I didn’t care because I knew they had heard it. It was kind of hard not to. They turned to me, sympathetic smiles on their faces. But after a moment, the smiles faded.
I felt someone smack me in the back, “Louis!”
I turned to see a red faced Eleanor glaring at me. “What?”
“I don’t believe you!” she shouted, before she stood from the couch and stormed toward my room. The three of us sat quietly until we heard my door slam shut.
I turned to Niall, “Aren’t you glad you came out here?”
“Oh yeah.”

Sorry it is taking so long, but I am still working out some of the kinks in the storyline. I am hoping and planning to get working on it soon.
